I genuinely cannot make myself hate Havlock. A lot of his actions have been very questionable but he’s not the straight up villain I thought he would be. It seems like he was a morally grey guy who got mixed up with the CIA, wasn’t filling to roll over and die for them and thus is on their shit list.
The CIA was totally fine killing the innocent workers on that plane just to assassinate him, meanwhile Havlock tried to minimize the casualties. He saved a group of innocent people from the escaped inmates in that dining car. He saved the woman the CIA wanted to frame a suicide on. The CIA is continuing to try and kill him at every turn and this man still hasn’t just released the files. Edit: I forgot to mention that he begrudgingly decided to tell Frank the pilot was alive so they’d go try to save him.
I’m absolutely finding myself rooting for Havlock and wanting the CIA to burn (for legal reasons, I mean the show version ofc). I really want him to team up with Frank and Sidney to expose everything, but I don’t know if that’s the direction they’ll take with this. Especially when it comes to Frank’s character; we’ve seen him become more willing to bend the rules but I still don’t know if he’d be willing to risk burning it all down.
Anyways, Havlock is not the villain imo. Imperfect? Absolutely. Evil? I don’t see it. They could absolutely reveal that he is the evil mastermind down the line but for now I am lowkey rooting for him to get away 💀
