1.favourite fandom you joined this year
I mean...it will surprise no one that I re-joined a fandom I was in in 2009 and 2010 mainly, the Simon & Garfunkel fandom. Let’s say I was...away for a while, otherwise occupied, but damn, it came back with a vengeance. I am OBSESSED. Like, really, really, really obsessed.
As a close second, I would have to say the Cobra Kai/ Karate Kid fandom. I watched the movies (and re-watched them from time to time) and I always liked Mr. Miyagi as a character, but never in a million years did I think I’d get pulled in again this hard by watching Cobra Kai, and I thought even less that I would end up absolutely LOVING Johnny Lawrence.

Umm...this question is kind of hard. A mood board that I liked? I’m not sure I reblogged any this year. I will think about this and come back to a mood board if I find one.
9. favourite creator of the year
Going back to the S&G fandom, there is Olippe who created a fic series (200k) that is so eerily...realistic somehow and also funny. I mean, it could have really gone down like this. Not only that, she also knows how to draw and drew me the cutest fan art for my birthday. <3
12. longest fic you read this year
That has to be On Our Way Back Home, a McLennon fic. It stands at 335k at the moment. Listen, I’ve been a Beatles fan since I was a young teen, I mean, I have about 26 years of fangirling about them under my belt. But I think I was just too young when I got into the Beatles to really know what fandom was, and what shipping was, let alone shipping two males. Remember, there was no internet yet back then. So I never entertained the thought of shipping them, but now, getting back into the S&G fandom and 60s slash, I guess it kind of also made sense for me to read a few mclennon fics (most of which are still ongoing) and I have to say with some of them I’m like, oh....OH.
14. best fixit you read this year
Well, considering how abysmal the ending of Hawaii 5-0 was (UGH!!!) it has got to come from that fandom. Went to look in my history and here we go. Short but way, WAY better than how the show actually ended.
