Asexual: experiencing little to no sexual attraction. Often shortened to "ace"
Allosexual: experiecing sexual attraction. Used to denote those who are not under the asexual umbrella. Sometimes shortened to "allo"
Grey-asexual: experiencing some sexual attraction, but it is infrequent and/or very low in intensity; In the "grey area" between asexuality and allosexuality. Often shortened to "grey-ace"
Demi-sexual/demisexual: only experiencing sexual attraction after an emotional bond is formed. Often considered under the grey-ace umbrella. Sometimes shortened to "demiace/demi-ace"
Ace-spec: umbrella term for either the greater asexual community or those in the "grey" areas between no sexual attraction and being totally allosexual, depending on context.
Aromantic: experiencing little to no romantic attraction. Often shortened to "aro"
Alloromantic: experiecing romantic attraction. Used to denote those who are not under the aromantic umbrella. Sometimes shortened to "allro"
Grey-aromantic: experiencing some romantic attraction, but it is infrequent and/or very low in intensity; In the "grey area" between aromanticism and alloromanticism. Can be shortened as either "greyro" or "grey-ro"
Demiromantic: only experiencing romantic attraction after an emotional bond is formed. Often considered under the grey-romantic umbrella. Sometimes shortened to "demiro"
Aro-spec: umbrella term for either the greater aromantic community or those in the "grey" areas between experiencing no romantic attraction and being totally alloromantic, depending on context.
Aspec: the umbrella term including all persons and orientations falling under the asexual and/or aromantic umbrellas.
Alloromantic asexual: An asexual person who experiences romantic attraction. Can be shortened to "alloace"
Allosexual aromantic/aromantic allosexual: An aromantic person who experiences sexual attraction. Shortened as either "alloaro" or "aroallo"
Aromantic asexual/aro-ace/aroace: describing a person as both aromantic and asexual.
Non-SAM aro: an aromantic person who does not use the Split Attraction Model that separates sexual and romantic feelings (among others) to define their orientation. Often also called "just aro"
non-SAM ace: an asexual person who does not use the Split Attraction Model that separates sexual and romantic feelings (among others) to define their orientation. Often also called "just ace."
