what's the Mercy/Reaper thing tho?

ok so a bit of backstory first.

so im the kind of person who digs tf outta some conspiracy theories about characters and shit. i eat that up. im the ho that analyzes voice lines and timelines to come up with some crazy shit. i dont go lurking reddit, tho, keep that in mind. i come up with shit on my own from stuff ive heard in game. that i, myself, have heard. and this is why im fucked up.

a long long time ago i came up with this theory and i only ever talked about it with my friends. basically i theorized that mercy was doing experiments for reviving people on blackwatch prisoners. sort of like beta testing for her revival ult. now, the voice line that i initially remember, which im PRETTY SURE EXISTS BUT NOW WHO TF KNOWS is where mercy says,

“what happened to you, gabriel?”

and reaper responds,

“You tell me, Doc.”

and THEN i heard this next set MORE THAN ONCE AND I SWEAR ON MY LIFE I HEARD IT.

Mercy: “This is never what I intended for you, Gabriel.”

Reaper: “You knew exactly what you were doing.”

now, what fucks me up, is that apparently that last line doesnt exist. like at all. the OW devs confirmed this was NEVER EVER a line EVER nowhere in their scripts.

but apparently im NOT the only person who has heard this line. legit id thought this mercy created reaper thing was canon until today when there was a vid on youtube by Curse Entertainment where they explain that this isnt real. And they talk about all these places on the internet with bunches of people claiming theyve heard it. like me.

so bam. mandela effect. im super fucked up about it.

Dehydration + stress can cause it. Mines been doing it like crazy too

I feel like it happens when I’m stressed, too, but I’m, like, less stressed than I’ve been all month so idk why it’s happening now. Maybe we’re somehow linked and mine is twitchy ‘cause yours is twitchy?
