if people don't want something reblogged with commentary, they...shouldn't make the post in the first place???? like this is a tenet of this website that has been in place always and I am always astounded when people freak out about that.

it really is fucking baffling, like divorcing content of its original context as it gets passed around is the entire POINT of tumblr. it’s not like it’s new.

it’s also deeply hilarious to me that this person made a post like “i don’t think you should look down on people for how they engage with a piece of media” as if antis do literally anything BUT look down on people they disagree with, and then was surprised when said post got reblogged into “pro ship” circles

because i’m absolutely not the first “pro ship” blog in the reblogs

i haven't used 8tracks in years but oh man the amount of music i discovered through fan mixes there is...most of what i listen to.

yep hard same. i have a little over 200GB of music in my itunes library, and 168GB of it is fanmixes. i have no idea how i’m gonna find new music now that the format is essentially dead in the ground.

i appreciate it, and same back <3 honestly it’s not super vent-about-able? it’s work more than anything else, which has no cure except waiting for People Already Established In Their Careers And Therefore Secure In Not Doing Goddamn Anything to realize that we have two to four months left on this project please listen to me when i say x y and z has to get done and give me more hours fuck’s SAKE

which is just boring to listen to from a venting standpoint and also not really anything i can do anything about in any real way, so. fun.
