Dear Hawkmates lovers, on May 5th, 2020, our favorite couple got their happy ending after decades of torment from DC Editorial. Four years later, we’re celebrating this most precious moment by hosting a Hawkmates Appreciation Week on @dailyhawkmates. The event will run from May 22nd to May 28th.

Victorian Hawkmates for the Birth of my Daughter, @kendrasauhders Kendra realizes on her 16th birthday that Carter is her soulmate- This is a rare twist of fate where she has not only remembered him first, but she has remembered him a full three years before their first actual meeting. She, the daughter of a wealthy wine merchant, meets her soulmate when he is an American sailor bringing in a shipment on the docks of London. She doesn’t introduce herself to him right away. As always, there are dividers- Class being the largest one, this time, and second that he is surrounded by a rather rough crew. And though she says nothing to him the first time she sees him, she, as she always has, catches his eye- And Carter spends the next day in London desperately searching for her. They meet in front of a flower shop, he with days of stubble and her looking for peonies. He asks her, “Who are you?” and she tucks a flower into his shirt pocket, smiling to herself. “Don’t you remember?” she asks, and he gapes at her, only able to shake his head. She finds him kind of charming when he’s awestruck, and tells him, “That’s funny. You will, though.” Carter, with a desperation to please Kendra like he has never felt before in this lifetime without his memories, says, “I will do whatever you want me to.” And she says, grazing his lapels with her thumbs, “Then kiss me.”

Legends of Tomorrow: What Kendra and Carter were up to in season 2  after leaving the team, kendra keeps in touch with her teammates while rebuilding a relationship with her soulmate and protecting st. roch as hawkgirl.  the timeline goes from the first text being right after the end of s1 to the last text being right after the end of s2.
