What can I say… I super fell behind on Hawktober drawings. First it was headaches and a bad narcolepsy phase, then I was watching my niece for a couple of days. I’m trying to catch up, but it’s going sooooo slow. Anyway…enjoy.

I switched prompts to monstober, auktober, and hawktober when the Eldritchtober one didn’t appeal to me.
There are two missing from this, but I want them each to get their own posts.

Howdy Ya’ll!
My inner Texan is peeking out because it’s October 13th and still 90F where I live. Give me a second to hide that horrible accent far away then mosey on down to see why I’m posting in the first place.

Okay. I killed it, my accent, it should stay dead until it rises from the grave to consume my soul sometime in January when I realize it will never get cold in Texas again.
Anyway, It’s October, or Hawktober and I figured it’s been awhile since we developed a shirt to fund-raise money for the organization I work with. For this winner of a design, I enlisted one of our volunteers to begin designing Halloween costumes for our wildlife ambassadors. She has come up with some great designs and this is the first one!
What’s better than wearing a dinosaur on your chest? Wearing a dinosaur wearing a dinosaur costume on your chest!
Yu will be the talk of the crowd as you frighten insects with your ferocious Pandorasaurus Rex proudly displayed. Pandora has always been a runner. As a Swainson’s Hawk she chases insects on foot. As Pandorasaurus Rex, she chases peoples hearts with her adorably ridiculous nature!
Don’t forget the important part! Anytime one of these shirts is bought (including the others we have for sale) the proceeds go directly to the Urban Interface which is the 501c3 non-profit I work for. It’s an all volunteer organization with no paid staff. This means the money goes straight to the care of our animals like Pandora and towards the development of educational materials to teach other people about local wildlife!

Hawktober Day 30-31: Halloween
"Doing alright there?" Bucky asked, an amused smile curling his lips.
"Yeah... Fine."
"You can just admit you don't like the movie ya know."
Clint's eyes widened in disbelief. "You kidding? I love this movie. Great movie. Perfect for Halloween."
"Alright. Now this time try to sound sincere," Bucky said after a laugh.
"Alright fine. I don't like this movie. It's creepy."
"Finally!" Bucky snatched the remote from the table to turn off the film.
Clint looked between the screen and his current pillow. Tried to ask what that reaction was all about but couldn't quite find the words. Bucky was already searching for more movies.
"I hated it," Bucky said when Clint continued to stare. "I couldn't turn it off though in case you were actually enjoying it."
Bucky set a hand in Clint's hair at some point in his scrolling. Clint soaked up the affectionate head scratches and gentle petting like a cat finally at home.
"I think I know just the one you'll like," Clint mumbled after a particularly nice shoulder rub.
"Yeah?"
Clint grinned. "Search for The Great Pumpkin. Classic."
