i identify as bisexual (being attracted to my own gender, and others) and so a lot of my OCs tend to be bi/pan by default, even without meaning to kind of portray that - i think it's just the default way i view sexuality? i dunno. but i think strong and respectful portrayals of bi/pan people are important, so i like to think i'm doin' some good

LOVE/SEXUALITY headcanon

WELL LET’S SEE

(longish rant about the mun under cut)

For me, love and sexuality are really separate things. For me, love is the emotional side of a relationship - any kind of a relationship, be it family, friends, partner, what have you - and I feel like sexuality is not inherently connected to that. Love is the more important thing to me, in any kind of a relationship really, but especially in a romantic/partners relationship, and I feel after there is love then sexuality can be applied to it. But I don’t necessarily think it goes the other way around. Like, I don’t think you find a sexual relationship and then apply love to it (although I am sure there are people who disagree, and that is alright!).

So like for instance, I am pretty demi-sexual, meaning I don’t feel any sort of actual sexual attractions at all until i really deeply know/love a person. This doesn’t necessarily mean I’m incapable or unwilling in participating in consensual sexual relationships, it’s just that there is really no passive or active desire from me, so I need to be invited to these and will never initiate them on my own. Idk man sex just - isn’t important to me? Doesn’t have a lot of weight? Like, as far as relationships go, sex is not a big part, and I’m not upset or offended if the person I am with isn’t attracted to me sexually, or is attracted to someone else sexually - as long as it’s only sexually and not romantically.

FOR EXAMPLE (which might be sort of weird to some peeps so be warned), my boyfriend and I have been dating for over a year now and I love him like I’ve never loved another person, and am pretty sure he is my people and I’m gonna marry him and sit on his chouch forever and ever until the end of days. I also love the heck out of my best friend, who is a sweetie and my bwatie and I couldn’t platonically love another person harder than I love her. Her and my boyfriend are also pretty close platonic friends. they also have sex together on a semi-regular basis. This doesn’t bother me in the least, and was actually sort of my idea. I have no problem with and am comfortable with this situation because I know that love =/= sex, especially in my relationship, so there is no danger of them like, idk running off together ha ha

But yeah. There is a love/sexuality headcanon from Aneko 8’D

middle school hAhhaa...

i was reading manga during P.E. like the utter nerd i was, and she walked over and talked to me about it. it turned out we both liked naruto and gay fanfiction, so we became fast friends! she was the one who nicknamed me mimzy, and the one who got me to try playing pokemon some few years later :')

i have a couple IRL friends who have tumblrs, mostly just people from highschool and mutual friends, but i've only really gotten close to a few people having met them on tumblr. i'm pretty shy and i requietly reblog things that i like on my main blog, i don't know how anyone was able to befriend me haha...
