My narrative response:
In Hiding
"It was a beautiful late summer afternoon and the whole family was coming together for a special occasion. Ruth was putting on her little black dress when her heart was suddenly filled with horror. She just realised that the man she fears the most will probably be coming to the family reunion. She really didn't want to face him, so as soon as his car started to pull over in front of their house she slipped through the back door, grabbed her flip flops and ran as fast as she could without looking back. After a while of tripping over rocks and stones she came across a bunch of hay stacks and after a quick examination of the area managed to find a spot where she felt relatively safe.
Ruth knew her family and possibly that man too would be eventually searching to find her, so she kept looking over her shoulder in fear and confusion, not knowing where to go, what to feel or how to overcome this situation she's in."
