yeah, I know things tend to work out somehow, but i'm a pretty negative person by nature and i'm losing faith again way earlier than i usually do. it's not a very good sign.

I have sort of shipped this ever since I saw the ring fights the first time, but the way I ship these two has changed drastically. Before I couldn't wrap my mind around them having a healthy, functional relationship -- mostly just angry sex and whatnot -- but my eyes have been opened and I ship it wholeheartedly now.

As to why I ship it? Well, they can bring out the worst in each other, but they know how to deal with that, to be honest??? And there are hints that Bel likes to mess with Hayato in that nice, not-quite-friends-but-not-enemies-either kinda way, and it's cute. (Eg, the opening where the Varia and the Vongola Tenths were on those couches, jfc. Or was that an ending, I don't remember anymore.)

I just really like these kinds of relationships where the two participants can go through shitty times (with or because of each other) and get through those times and fix their relationship or make it better than before??? I guess I just see the potential for b59 to be that kind of ship, though for others I assume it's 8059. (Though I find that ship to be very meh.)
