Activity at Belmont Park in New York is heating up with the prestigious $500,000 Metropolitan Handicap (I) slated to run on Monday featuring some of the top sprinters in the country and the $1 million Belmont Stakes (I) in three weeks. Noted as "likely" or "possible" for the 8 furlong event are 11 up and coming or established horses, including three Pletcher trainees:
