Why I'm reccing it: This is one of the absolute cutest fics ever because it’s pretty much 99.999999% fluff and Derek is a big ball of awkwardness when he tries (and succeeds!) to woo Stiles. He even makes a list, which is awesome. Also, he kind of injures his own Camaro just to spend time with Stiles and literally every time I read this fic is get super hardcore Sterek feels and it just makes me want to asdfghjkl; and smash my face on the nearest hard surface, in a good way. Plus, Derek’s a secret geek and he talks about the Avengers and superheroes and stuff and it’s so cute! I can’t even with this fic it’s just awesome and stuff, so read it, like seriously, just read it.

Why I'm reccing it: Another massage fic and this one is just as hot as the other one. There’s a bit of awkwardness at the start and a little bit more at the end but the middle is all delicious relaxing massage and sex. Mmm. I’m such a creep ugh, I can’t even get over myself. Seriously, there’s no way I can rec this fic coherently without starting to babble on about sex and massages and all that stuff. Also, why is it pretty much everyone’s headcanon that Derek is incredible at sex? I don’t understand it! I mean, I enjoy it a lot but I don’t understand it, do we all assume he had a lot of sex in New York after what happened with the fire? Because he doesn’t seem like the type. But also, I shouldn’t be asking this here because I’m meant to be reccing fics, not thinking about this fandom’s insanity. Although someone should really ask Jeff Davis if Derek would be really good at fucking because of he had copious amounts of sex in New York. That would be an interesting discussion.

Why I'm reccing it: Okay, this one is ridiculously cute because Derek’s a complete nerd and super awkward and Stiles is like good at sport and popular and they’re roommates. They’re both super oblivious and it’s adorable. Jackson and Stiles are in one of those awesome love/hate relationships and Danny is so awesome. Erica’s terrifying but so is Lydia and basically they all become really good friends after Derek gets his head out of his ass and does Stiles, fuck yeah. Basically, Stiles attempts to woo Derek (badly) and it’s just the typical awesome college roommates fall in love then get sexy. The story is well written and the plot is paced really well and it’s overall a fluffy fic made of cuteness and love and all things Sterek. Everyone is annoyed at how shit Derek and Stiles are at relationships and everything gets resolved in the end and it’s all happy endings and shit. Also, there’s weed involved, which I don’t really approve of but it’s still awesome because it’s the precursor to sexy times on the roof because apparently Stiles and Derek are into exhibitionism.

Then they wake up, and try to come to terms with the fact that none of it was real. Flangsty, great snapshots between the real world and their dreamworld.

Cool Story, Bro - 

(Hatteress combines ten tumblr prompts into one silly fic with great results) Established relationship, the one where Stiles adopts a cat (called Bro), gets food poisoning, Derek sings Taylor Swift and Failwolf Fridays are actually a legitimate magical thing and Derek is NOT HAPPY. Brilliant.

Easy Alpha - 

Cute, short Easy A/Teen Wolf AU. Wherein, Derek Hale is the high school 'slut', Jackson and Scott really need to learn to use their inside voices. And, contrary to popular belief, everyone is still a virgin.

Game On -

College AU, perfect and adorable with lots of Derek!pining and obliviousness. Derek is a basketball jock and Stiles is the nerd who comes to the games and becomes the subject of Derek's pining.

I Walked With You Once Upon A Dream -

Flangsty and wonderful college AU - Stiles is a seer who has already seen most of his future and is confused about his past (it's all a bit like dreaming). Scott is just trying to help and Derek doesn't know what is going on, but is more than willing to go with it. Lovely, lots of hints at future domesticity!

Just Pretending That We're Cool - 

College AU, funny and snarky. Stiles is the undergrad who's slept with most of his TAs, and his Chem lab TA Derek proves no exception. In retrospect, using sex to trick Derek out of stalking Scott had maybe not been the greatest idea ever? Whatever, Stiles’ plans always manage to work themselves out. Super great.

HO-LY GOD FAVE - if you're a Merthur fan, this realllyyy reminded me of The Student Prince :3 College AU, Derek is the nerd and in his first year of college, gets landed with the loud, sporty jock who won't shut up and keeps trying to make Derek do things. PERFECT PERFECT PERFECT

Negotiation Tactics -

Stiles turns out to be Alpha-nip, so he always gets pimped out when Derek needs negotiations to go slowly. Derek definitely did not foresee this. Surprisingly cute (but also, y'know, very hot)

Seems to Me its Chemistry -

Highschool AU, Awkward Nerd Derek has been crushing on Handsome Jock Stiles since forever—so getting paired with him on a Chemistry project is definitely the best/worst thing that's ever happened to him. Fucking adorable I can't get enough of this type of fic!!!!

We're All Freaks Here -

Sort of a Hellboy!AU - The Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense is a secret government organization that fights monsters. It’s only about half as ridiculous as it sounds. They employ agents to act as the proverbial hall light, with the door cracked to the world’s boogeymen. Some of their agents are human, some, not so much. After all, not all monsters are the bad guys. They’ve got a sweet headquarters too (If you ignore the whole New Jersey sanitation plant cover). Stiles is a pixie, Allison is a mermaid, Isaac and Scott are handlers and they find Derek (a demon) in a field in Ireland. Really loved this AU! And its a series now :D

*You Know What I Mean -

Absolutely fantastic Allison POV fic - this is all the right buttons I didn't know how much I needed an Allison fic until now!!! In which Allison and Stiles are bros (this is all I want from life please), Allison deals with her emotional trauma and basically everything is perfect. Background Stiles and Derek of course, but I love outsider!POVs, and Allison was written perfectly.
