Pairing: Harrison Osterfield x reader
Warnings: fluff, language, thunder
Summary: Your cars accumulator was empty so you called your boyfriend for a jumpstart
A/n: I don’t know how I feel about this
“Fucking hell” you hit the steeringwheel of your car. Of course it had to break down again, especially now a thunderstorm was predicted, the thing you hated and feared most of all.
You tried to start it again, but it just let out a few noises before it fell silent. You try again and this time it doesn’t even sputter. “Great it’s fucking empty” you curse.
You step outside your car and call your boyfriend Harrison. It rang three times before he picked up, “hey angel,” he smiled through the phone. “Hey baby, I have a problem, my car broke down again and they predicted that a storm would come” you said straight to the point, “Can you give me a jumpstart I’m not far away from your place and I really need to get away from this now, there are so many trees” you said scared, all while hating that you had to interrupt Harrison while he was hanging out with his friends.
“Alright I’m coming” he laughed, “bye”
You heard the phone beep meaning that he ended the call. You sat down back in your car and sighed waiting for your boyfriend to arrive, you scrolled some through your tumblr dashboard and bopped your head to some music all to distract your mind from the thunder that would soon be echoing through your ears.
When Harrison pulled over near your car he stood up and knocked on your window, slightly laughing about how you were just singing along to some music. You lowered your window and smiled at him, “Hey honey, thanks for helping me.”
“Anything for you y/n/n,” he said, “I really think you should get a new car” he laughed. “I know I know, I just can’t afford it,” you rolled your eyes before you stepped out of your car again, your knees slighty shaking with fear. You wanted to hide it so bad, but now that you were outside again and could clearly see the dark clouds forming above your head it was near impossible.
Together you and Harrison attached the cables and right after you were done you felt a soft drizzle on your skin, igniting your fight or flight instinct running straight in Harrison’s arms.
“Just in time,” Harrison smiled wrapping his arm around your waist. “We should hurry because it will rain harder soon,” you said before you saw a strike of lighting and hid your face in Harrison’s chest. He chuckled at this and placed his hand under your chin and raised it so you were looking up at him, “maybe this will calm your nerves” he smiles before he planted his lips on yours. It got your mind off of the storm for a few seconds before you heard a clasp of thunder and jumped away. “Can we go home now?”
