“You really not gone answer him?” Tara laughed after Joe called for the 4th time. “There’s no need. And I’m not untagging him in that post! He can kiss my ass.” Taylor grumbled. “I’m sure he wants to do more than just kiss it.” Tara laughed.
After the 2nd ignored call, Joe got annoyed and sent her post to both the twins’ burner accounts. “She petty for that.” Josh replied. “Told you to leave that girl alone.” Jon added. Joe took his shower and had his conference call, still trying to reach out to Taylor between tasks. She wasn’t answering his DMs but had read them. He even saw the three dots of death a couple of times. He couldn’t just sit still and let her ignore him. He had only thought about her every single day for the past three years. She even crossed his mind on his wedding night. Seeing her still dancing at Sammie’s supercharged his guilt. Joe couldn’t live peacefully until he explained himself.
“I’m going to take a nap, I think my cycle is about to start. If you go out, can you grab me a bottle of Midol?” Eliza groaned as she made some fancy flavored water in her HydroFlask. “Yeah, I’ll grab you some. Go rest. We can order in tonight.” Joe smiled as he missed her forehead. “You’re the best.” Eliza smiled as she grabbed her book and went upstairs. Joe didn’t feel the best. He was potentially about to do something very dumb. Grabbing his keys, phone and wallet, he sat in the front seat of his car for 15 minutes before starting the ignition. Taylor no longer lived in the apartment they shared but maybe Tara still stayed in the home she had bought.
“We just laying around all day?” Tara asked. “I think we should. My arms are spent. My thighs are sore. My core hurts. I’m checked out for the day. If you have hoes coming thru, just let me know and I’ll stay out the way.” Taylor laughed, Tara hit her with a Hello Kitty pillow. “Shae is at work and since I have a house guest, I would go to her. I’m respectful like that.” Tara smiled. “Oh? Excuse the fuck outta me! I think she thinks I still hate her. As long as she continues to do right by you…we ain’t got no problems.” Taylor smiled, her eyes rolling as her phone vibrated once again. “Anna, pick up the phone. Please?” He sighed, finally leaving a voicemail.
“I’m about to go jump in the shower.” Tara shrugged as she went upstairs. After food and being petty, Taylor needed a nap. She sat on the couch until she nodded off, her peace disrupted by the doorbell ringing. There was a matte red Yukon parked next to the BMW 740 she had rented. “Who the hell?” Taylor grumbled. Had somebody been watching them and knew they came home with stacks of cash? Tara kept a loaded shotgun in the closet by the front door, Taylor grabbed it and made sure she could see the box of shells. “It’s Joe…don’t fuckin’ shoot!” He sighed loudly. “Joe who?!” Taylor groaned. “Anna? Baby, please open the door. We need to talk.” He sighed, his heart racing at the sound of her voice. “Why are you here?” She grumbled as she unlocked the door. She still had the shotgun slung over her shoulder. “Damn girl, chill. I come in peace.” He laughed. “What?” She sighed, not moving aside. “Can I come in?” He asked. “This is how vampire movies start. Some handsome Devil knocks on some unsuspecting girl’s door, sweet talks her and asks to come inside. Next thing you know, I can’t go to Miami and shake ass on a yacht!” She laughed, finally stepping aside to let him in. He remembered the layout of the house and walked through the main floor to the back porch.
His expensive cologne hung in the air as he moved through the house. Not much had changed about Tara’s house in 4 years. Joe passed through the kitchen before stepping out on the back patio. “You want something to drink?” Taylor asked. “Water, please.” He smiled as he sat down in the oversize papasan chair. Taylor handed him a bottle of Voss before sitting down across the way. “Ok, so talk.” she sighed as she took a sip from her own bottle. “Why are you so far away? I only bite if you ask.” he laughed. “I hope you haven’t come to ask for the money back. I didn’t think a night out would break the bank.” Taylor scoffed. “No, that’s yours. You earned it.” He sighed. “Wow, $45K and all I had to do is make you mess up your pants ain’t a bad night.” She laughed. “Wait, you want the bag back? Sure, no problem.” She smiled. “I don’t need that either. I want you to take that money to fund your book. You funded my dream, let me fund yours.” Joe spoke.
“Ohhh baby…I need you to do a little more research. Or just any research on me. I’m hot in these literary streets. Ask your wife, she loves Book 1.” She smiled. “Really?! You wrote the book she won’t shut up about?” He laughed. Of course she wrote it, she was brilliant. “I thought New York Times Bestsellers didn’t have to do anything but write.” He teased. “Oh, I was just at Sammie’s cuz Tara called about some of the OGs to send off the original location. And the way Tara had to talk me into that shit! Honestly, yours was the last face I expected to see. Why were you even there? Wifey can’t drop it low? Want me to show her?” Taylor laughed. “Not like you can. You still got it.” He smiled. “Fukumean? Nobody does it like me. This ass gone always have motion.” She laughed. “I know it does. Shit had me in a trance.” He laughed. “Well, I know what you like.” she laughed.
“You sure about that?” He laughed. “Absolutely. All I had to do was start rolling these hips and you shot up them Nike draws! Fuckin’ slut.” She laughed. “Don’t act like you didn’t cum too!” He rolled his eyes. “I didn’t! Then I had to finish my night with fuckin blue bean cuz your presence pissed me off!” Taylor grumbled. “Come over here and let me fix it.” Joe smiled. “You gonna make me nut as a friend? Fuck outta here. We ain’t friends, nigga.” Taylor growled as she pushed herself up from the chair. “Anna, wait! I’m sorry. I owe everything I have now to you. You believed in me when nobody else did. My own father doubted me but you never did. I’m grateful for everything you did for me.” He sighed. “Ok. Goodbye, Joe. DM my official account from your official account and I’ll send wifey an autographed copy of Book 1.” She sighed. “I still love you.” Joe sighed as he pulled her down onto his lap.
“And you still love me.” He added. “I don’t.” She sighed. “Yes you do! Look me in my eyes and tell me that you don’t love me. Tell me that you don’t love me and I’ll walk out of that door and I won’t come back.” He pleaded, his hand tilting her face towards him. Memories of her sitting at the kitchen counter writing on her day off with no makeup on and a messy bun flooded Joe’s mind. Those were his favorite days. She’d write freaky little stories about the famous wrestler and the bestselling author. She had manifested this life for them, but she meant for them to be together. “I don’t love you.” She grumbled, her eyes never meeting his. “Bullshit! I can admit that I still love you, why can’t you do the same?” He sighed. “Because, you’re married. You shouldn’t even be here. Does she know where you are right now?” Taylor grumbled. “Yeah, I absolutely told her that I was going to see if I could hunt down the love of my life and apologize for hurting her.” He rolled his eyes. “Smartass.” Taylor grumbled.
“I miss you, baby.” He sighed, his heart racing as her body relaxed on top of his. Taylor remembered how they used to sit on their balcony just like this when it rained. The silence was heavy but comfortable and peaceful. “Wait, the love of your life? You say that like you aren’t married to another woman, Joe!” she grumbled. “I know what I fuckin’ said. I ain’t unsure and I ain’t stutter.” Joe spoke as he wrapped his arms around Taylor. “No, we can’t do this. You shouldn’t be here.” she sighed. “You haven’t told me to leave.” he laughed. “I really want to…but I can’t. I hate you but I love you. You have this hold on me and you shouldn’t.” Taylor sighed as she pulled him closer. Joe could sit with Taylor in his lap for eternity and it still wouldn’t be long enough. “Trust me, you have the same hold on me. I thought you didn’t but seeing you up on that stage pulled me right back into the eye of your storm…where I need to be.” He sighed. “You need to be with your wife!” She groaned. “I am with my wife. You don’t remember us getting married in the club? You wore white, I wore black, it rained green.” He laughed, his hands sliding under her t-shirt. His hands grabbed her breasts, she moaned softly.
“Joe…don’t.” She whimpered. Her lips said one thing but her body said another as she leaned into his touch. “Let’s go upstairs, I owe you one.” he kissed against her neck. “We can’t.” she sighed. She was trying to convince herself more than anything. “Or I’ll fuck you right here…I don’t really give a fuck.” He grumbled. “You have to go.” Taylor sighed. “I will…after you’re finished with me.” Joe smiled. “Let me guess, you’re going to pull it out and I’ve got 5 minutes to do what I need to do while the game loads?” She laughed. “You remember that? Damn, baby. I miss that shit. I miss you.” He growled. Taylor hated how this man was her kryptonite, always bending to his will. Joe always made it worth the frustration.
Now would be the perfect time for Tara to come and cockblock but she took a shower and crawled into bed. “Tell me to stop and I will.” Joe spoke as he grabbed Taylor’s thigh and pulled her into a straddle across his wide lap. “What are you doing?” Taylor groaned. The feel of his hands gripping her thighs did something dangerous to her. “Tell me to stop and I will.” He repeated. They knew it was wrong but it felt so right. Taylor reached between them, tugging at his shorts. “There’s my girl.” Joe kissed against her lips as he inched his shorts down enough for his hard dick to pop out. It was bigger and prettier than Taylor remembered. “I should punish you with just fucking the tip but that’s a punishment for me too.” She laughed as he pulled her shorts to the side and rubbed the tip against her folds. “Fuck.” They sighed as she eased him into her warmth. “Mmm, Anna.” Joe almost whimpered against her lips. “Shh. I know, you’re sorry.” She laughed as her hips rediscovered their natural rhythm. A gasping moan erupted from her lips as he hit her deepest spot. “There it is.” Joe laughed as he focused his stroke on hitting that exact spot.
A volt of electricity surged through her body as she slowly came undone. “You feel so good.” Joe moaned before his lips wrapped around her nipple. Taylor’s hands tangled in his hair as his free hand pulled her closer. “It should’ve been you. It should’ve always been you.” Joe sighed, his orgasm building in his core. “Why’d you leave me?” Taylor spoke, tears streaming down her cheeks. “Don’t cry, baby. I’m a fool for not marrying you.” Joe groaned. “Yes, you are a fool. Ohhh shit, I’m about to cum. Stay right here.” She moaned, her walls starting to clench around him. “Let that shit go. I need it. Ahh, fuck!” He moaned as his own orgasm choked the air from his lungs. Taylor’s hips rocked slower as she chased her ending. Her body collapsed against his as she found her release. Taylor’s hips rolled through the aftershocks that hit her.
“Feel better? I know I do.” Joe laughed. “I feel worse cuz you can’t just stay here nestled against my g-spot making me drip for all eternity. You have to go back to your life and I have to go back to mine.” Taylor sighed. “I’m sorry, we should be doing this on the back patio of a home I bought for you with a chef’s kitchen and heated marble floors.” He sighed. “I can’t even buy my own yet…but I did rent.” She pouted. “No shit? Where at? I’m expecting a gourmet meal the next time I’m in town.” He laughed. “A high rise in Manhattan. I pay way too much, but that’s New York for ya. The publishing company needed me close cuz I was ghost writing on a bunch of shit. I miss it down here. I miss sitting on the porch during a sun shower. I miss my family. I miss my man but he ain’t mine anymore.” Taylor sighed as she wiggled until his softened flesh slid from her warmth. “I still belong to you. Roman Reigns is so Haze coded. You haven’t noticed? Oh baby, everything about that sinister sexy swagger, I got from my lady. Haze don’t do a whole lot of talking. She gets on that stage and lets her body talk all the shit. Just draining pockets and breaking hearts. Roman wrecks shit and leaves.” Joe laughed.
“Haze walked so Roman could fly.” She laughed. “Damn right. You want Big Daddy to buy you a house in Georgia?” Joe asked, his fingers tracing lazy shapes on her lower back. “Yep. With a chef’s kitchen, Italian marble countertops, heated floors in the nice, big bathrooms, a big backyard space and plenty of room for family.” Taylor sighed, her hands playing in his hair. “Daddy will take care of you.” Joe laughed. “Boy, bullshit. Just point me in the direction of a good realtor. Big Mama can buy her own house.” Taylor laughed. “I got you.” He smiled as his lips found her forehead. Joe’s moment of peace was disturbed by his phone chirping. “I wasn’t supposed to be gone this long. I gotta get going. Please unblock me. I miss you.” Joe smiled as he kissed her forehead. “I’ll keep crashing into your DMs all reckless an’ shit. Don’t think I won’t.” Joe teased as he stood up with her still on his lap. He lowered her down to the floor as he pulled his shorts back up. Taylor walked him to the front door, the gravity of things going forward settling into the atmosphere.
“When can I see you again?” Joe asked as he stood in the doorway, his arms wrapped around her waist. “This is the last time, Joe. You’re married and it ain’t to me. We both have to accept that, no matter how much it hurts.” Taylor sighed, tears rolling down her face. Joe wiped them away with his fingertips. He hated to see her crying, it broke his heart but she was right. “I’ll always love you, Anna. You deserve so much more than I gave you.” he sighed. His lips connected with hers one final time before he walked out of her life.
Three Months Later
Taylor sat at some trendy brunch spot in downtown Atlanta with Blanca, Geneva and Tara. “I’m so glad that lil cuzzo is back in the ATL. I missed my ride or die.” Tara laughed. “It feels good to be home. New York is cool but New York ain’t home. Too…loud.” Taylor laughed as she handed her card to the waitress. “Not too much on my city, sis.” Geneva laughed. “I’m glad we came when we did. It gets wild up in here but the food is good and the drinks are strong.” Blanca laughed as she looked around as the tables started to fill. “I do not want twerk wind rolling across my waffles. I would crash out.” Taylor laughed. “Y’all should come to the club tonight. I've been practicing what Haze taught me. I need you to be in the house when I try it.” Blanca asked, hopeful that her new mentor would come see her dance. “Geneva, wanna go to the strip club tonight? No cover charge. The wings are fire.” Taylor asked. “Sure, let’s do it.” Geneva laughed as Taylor signed the check. The rest of the girls left the tip.
Taylor was answering a quick text as she walked towards the door. She missed them all warning her of what was coming her way. “Anna?” A familiar voice spoke. When she looked up, Joe was standing in cargos, fresh Jordans and a blue shirt. His hair was pulled into a low ponytail and he was wearing his glasses. He looked handsome. “Joe…hey.” She smiled, things had never been more awkward between them. His eyes roaming over her frame. Her black pants hugging her curves. An orange cropped shirt covered her top. Her hair falling in soft, bouncy curls around her face. She looked like an Angel. Time stood still for a few seconds. “You look good, girl. Damn.” He growled softly as he leaned in for a hug. “Thanks. You look good too.” She smiled as she shook her head. They both knew dangerous things happened when they touched, but Joe didn’t care. “Joe, over here my love.” A voice called from 50 feet away. Leave it to Eliza to ruin his fantasy. “Enjoy your brunch.” Taylor smiled as she turned to walk away. “Yeah, thanks.” He sighed, his whole body turning to watch her ass walk out of the door.
He sat down at the table, Eliza unable to pick up his frustration. “Who was that stallion of a woman, babe?” She smiled. Whoever she was, she was stacked in all the right places. “That was the one that got away…Anna.”
Taylor could feel herself starting to emotionally spiral as they stood waiting for the valet to bring the car around. The lyrics to ‘Try sleeping with a Broken Heart’ by Alicia Keys accompanied a mental montage of her and Joe happy together. Taylor could feel tears forming in her eyes when her phone rang. She could tell who it was just by the vibration pattern. She didn’t have to say anything, he always knew what to say. “Hey darling. How was brunch? You looked very sexy. You free to come see me next week? I’ll be in Miami.” He laughed. “I was just in Miami.” She sighed. “Well, where do you want to go? Turks? Dominica? Trinidad? Ooh, let’s do St. Lucia.” He laughed. “There’s not a race going on is there?” Taylor asked. “No, darling. We’re just chilling. No racing, no writing, no working. I wouldn’t mind a little stripping. You’re…very, very talented.” He laughed.
“Who’s got her smiling like that?” Blanca asked.
“All I know is, he’s British. Tattooed. Rich enough to spoil her. And he puts her through the goddamn mattress…her exact words.” Tara said.
“Sir Lewis Hamilton.” Geneva said.
After googling the name, Blanca said “I see she still has more to teach me!”
How many gentle flowers grow in an English country garden? I'll tell you now of some I know, and those I miss I hope you'll pardon...

Joe had never acted this well in his entire life. He never thought that he’d have to act like he never knew Anna. His Anna. “Hi, I’m Anna. And you are?” Taylor smiled, extending her hand. “I’m Joe. Your man here has been teaching me about watches.” Joe smiled. Taylor’s eyes discreetly darted to Eliza and then back to Joe. “Oh, this is my wife Eliza. Baby, this is Lewis Hamilton.” Joe smiled as Lewis shook her hand. “I’m sorry…you’re so hot. Both of you!” She blurted. “Thank you?” Lewis spoke. That was when Lewis noticed her pregnant belly. He worried about his lady’s feelings. Taylor’s feelings for Joe had been complicated their whole relationship.
As Joe’s eyes drank in Taylor’s curves in the purple dress, he spotted the ring. “Wow, that’s a gorgeous ring.” He laughed to keep from crying. “Thank you. We got engaged last night.” Taylor beamed, holding her hand out to give him a better view. “Congratulations.” Joe spoke, his forehead wrinkling in anger. He was furious and didn’t know why. He married someone else and Anna deserved to be someone’s wife. It was obvious that afternoon on Tara’s back porch meant nothing if she had already moved on. Joe had previously been impartial to Lewis Hamilton, but seeing Taylor on his arm made Joe hate him. He couldn’t possibly satisfy her high sex drive, he was tiny. Even now, Taylor was taller than him. “It was lovely to meet you both. Eliza, best of luck with your pregnancy. And congratulations. Let me know where you’re registered and I’ll get you something nice from it.” Taylor smiled before pulling Lewis away politely.
“He’s gonna cry in the car, you know that, right?” Lewis giggled as they found another piece of art to admire. “That forehead wrinkle? That clenched jaw? The slow nod. He’s crashing out and probably wants to fight you.” Taylor smiled before kissing him. When she looked up, she could see the combo of rage and heartbreak in Joe’s eyes and for the first time in 3 years…she didn’t care. What happened between them earlier this year was just closure sex while her and Lewis were on a break. Anna Taylor Brown was nobody’s mistress. His wife didn’t deserve that. “I can hear him venting to his cousins now. He’s small. He had on purple pants. He’s pretty. Dick ain’t big. And some other hater ass shit.” Taylor laughed. “Might be small in physical stature but I’m a giant at the fuckin’ bank! Plus…I’ll fight his ass if he wants to fuckin’ go!” Lewis shrugged. “Talk yo shit, King. I think you’re the perfect husband size.” Taylor laughed as he finished his drink. “I don’t want to ask if he’s bigger than me but…” Lewis laughed. “If I still wanted what he’s packin, I’d be living in the secret condo downtown that he wanted to buy me. Instead, I’m over here where my wonderful man cracks me like a glow stick, eats me until I cry, writes songs about me, designed the perfect car for me and isn’t mad that I’m just as busy as he is. Joe always wanted to be the only important one in the relationship.” Taylor groaned.
“Good for her. He looks incredibly wealthy.” Eliza mentioned. “He’s a race car driver.” Joe grumbled. “Ain’t no way that them NASCAR muthafuckas look like like that! I would’ve heard about this.” Eliza laughed, her eyes following them around the room as she waited for the Google search to load. “So, he’s not just a Formula One driver but THEE Formula One driver! I know what my nighttime binge will be.” She giggled. “Explore a bit. I’ll be right back.” Joe spoke, kissing his wife’s cheek and walking away. “Oh…ok. Hurry back to me.” She smiled. Joe could feel angry steam pouring from his face as he stole a final look at Anna & Lewis.
Joe found himself sitting in the rental car, internally raging in the parking lot. As he initiated a call to his cousins, tears fell from his eyes. The love of his life was gone for real this time and it was all his fault.
Joe: What was supposed to be a nice weekend in Miami has turned into the worst weekend ever! Taylor got engaged last night and is here at Art Basel with her rich fiancé. She’s got a ring so big…it would take me years to afford that! Shit looks like a super bowl ring!
Jon: Good for her. A baddie like that being single for long is unheard of! It violates the laws of the universe or some shit.
Joe: I thought you were on my side?! I’m not ok. In the car right now crying like a bitch. I love her. I need her.
Josh: You had her. You fumbled her.
Jon: You played in her face and tried to make her the other woman. Now she’s playing in your face and sounds like she’s winning.
Joe: This is literal hell and I can’t get any sympathy from y’all? I’m hurt and y’all think shit is funny! Fuck BOTH of y’all!
Jon: A hell of your own design, dumbass! We both told you to go back to get your woman. And you ain’t listen. This on you, Uce.
Josh: Yup.
Jon: So she used to be a stripper. Who the fuck cares?! That stripper set you up for success and you were supposed to bring her along for the ride.
Joe: I bet he don’t even know how she used to make money. You know that she’s taller than him?! He’s wearing these ridiculous purple pants. He bought them matching watches. Money don’t mean you ain’t a lame. I’ll beat his little ass! I gotta get back to wifey. Thank you for being no help at all…fuckin’ assholes!
“You think Dad will like the Bob Marley?” Lewis asked. “Your Dad or my Dad?” She asked. “Good point. Your Dad. For his man cave. When I went to visit, he said that he wanted to add some art to the space.” Lewis smiled. “He’d love it. Remind me to not come shopping with you. Gonna have to write another book to afford this.” She grumbled, pouting when she noticed the ‘Sold’ tag on the piece. “I snagged it while you were grabbing drinks. My name holds weight in these streets.” He smiled, planting a kiss on her lips. “Not you stealin’ my lingo.” she teased. “Ya know…gotta stay hip with you young people.” he giggled. “It’s 3 years. Calm down, Unc.” Taylor laughed. Lewis handed Taylor her phone. “This thing has been going crazy in my pocket. My lady is hot in these streets.” he laughed. She swiped up to several screenshots from Tara of Josh telling her about Joe crashing out on the phone. “He hates you cuz you have me.” she laughed. “He shouldn’t. His wife is pretty. She’s no you but she ain’t ugly. Besides, he had more than enough chances to lock you down. His loss.” Lewis smiled. “I mean…I’d hate to fumble me too! I’m one of one. I feel bad for Eliza. She’s really sweet.” Taylor sighed as she saw Eliza standing by herself.
Taylor walked back over to Eliza. “Hey, Eliza?” Taylor spoke. “Heyyy!” She smiled. “I’m new to this whole being recognized by people thing. You’re in a pretty dress, I’m in a pretty dress. We could take a picture?” Taylor said. “OMG! Yes! I thought you hated me.” She sighed. “Girl, not even! I’m used to just being on his arm and people noticing how incredibly famous he is. Not that I’m complaining but being famous is still very new & weird to me.” Taylor admitted. “My love has my phone. Tag me when you post it.” Taylor smiled as Eliza pulled her camera up on her phone. They snapped a photo as Joe re-appeared next to Eliza. “It was a pleasure to meet you, Eliza. Enjoy the rest of the festival.” Taylor smiled as she walked away but not before locking eyes with Joe. She knew him well enough to know that he was fresh off a crashout. Taylor rolled her eyes as she walked away to find her man. Eliza noticed Joe watching her walk away. “Pick your goddamn jaw up from the floor darling.” Eliza grumbled. “Sorry, baby.” Joe sighed. “I get it. She’s thick as fuck and smells amazing. Her fiancé is a very lucky man.” Eliza shrugged as she pulled him off to find snacks.
“Aww! Did you make a friend?” Lewis teased. “Fuck you.” Taylor laughed. “That’s always a tempting offer. If we did it here…could be considered performance art.” Lewis laughed. “It definitely would. Do you have dinner plans?” Taylor asked as they walked over to the next section of the hall. “We don’t have dinner plans. I move as you move.” Lewis smiled. “I know how you plan side quests. You know people all over. Can we have a night in? Maybe order room service and watch a movie?” Taylor begged playfully, her fingertips trailing around his necklace. “Whatever you wanna do. Oh…tomorrow I kinda agreed for us to have a yacht day.” Lewis spoke. “Oh goodness.” Taylor sighed. “Chill mama. It’s with the family, minus mom and dad. Gen & Melo. Tara. Your brothers and their wives. And a chef. Should be fun.” Lewis smiled as they viewed some more of the festival. “Yeah, sounds like it. Ok, count me in. You’re lucky that you’re so fuckin’ adorably sexy. You talk me into the craziest shit sometimes baby.” Taylor laughed as she kissed his lips.
Eliza could tell that there was something going on with her husband. He seemed exceptionally prickly all of a sudden. Maybe her pregnancy hormones had her reading too much into things, but something was definitely off. It never crossed her mind that her husband was still in love with his ex who had just gotten engaged. “You ok?” She asked as they walked through the hand blown glass exhibit. “Mmm hmm. I’m great. Why do you ask?” He replied. “You stepped away and things have been different. Should I be worried?” Eliza said. “No. Josh kept texting. He used to mess with my ex’s cousin and now she’s engaged and he’s not handling it well at all. It just brought up some sour feelings is all. I hate when he cries.” Joe sighed. “Poor Joshie. He’ll find someone to put up with his shit one day. I’m glad that the woman before me fumbled you. Her loss has definitely been my win. Oh well.” Eliza smiled and shrugged. From what Joe had told her, his ex left because he wanted to follow his dreams of becoming a professional wrestler like his father before him and she didn’t believe in him.
“I don’t think I’ve ever asked, but seeing Joe…how‘d that make you feel? Especially since his wife is pregnant and a fan.” Lewis asked as they sat in the lounge having a drink. “Seeing her pregnant hit different, but I have no regrets. I did a lot of healing and ended up meeting a man that made me forget all about a Samoan Demigod. You make me feel so special all the time. Don’t tell Geneva but you’re my best friend.” Taylor laughed, Lewis gasped. “No…I’m gonna tell her! I stole her best friend.” He giggled. “I feel like I should be asking you how you feel about being in such close proximity to my ex.” She asked. “If I was worried about another man, I wouldn’t have asked you to be my wife. The only reason you ended up fucking him was because I was shook that we were moving too fast and I put distance between us. And I was goddamn miserable for like three months. I stalked your social medias religiously, I asked Gen about you to the point where she stopped answering my texts. I was so worried that I had fucked it up. I’m so glad that you came out to Tokyo for me. I needed you in the worst way.” Lewis smiled, pulling her closer. “I let fear paralyze me into acceptance once and I wasn’t letting it happen again. I promise to always fight for us, as long as you do the same.” Taylor smiled. “Of course I promise. I finally found my person and you think I’m letting go now? Fuck no! So tell Joe if he swings that I swing back.” Lewis sighed as he finished his drink.
Taylor and Lewis stopped by the business office to ensure that they had the proper address to deliver the artwork he had purchased. “Dad’s gonna flip when he sees what his favorite son-in-law gifted him.” She smiled. “His only son-in-law.” Lewis laughed. “He thinks you’re cooler than my brothers. He thinks you’re cooler than me!” Taylor smiled. “Well, he gave me a pretty amazing gift by accepting my proposal. He knows that you’re gonna do what you want anyway but he appreciated the gesture.” He laughed as they waited for their driver. “What did I do to deserve such a perfect man?” Taylor asked, part of her was still in disbelief that she was engaged. “Me? Perfect? I’m far from perfect, Taylor. If I was perfect, I’d win every time I got in my car.” He said. “I meant perfect for me. It’s like The Universe wrote your source code with me in mind. Joe didn’t work because I was supposed to be waiting for Lewis. I feel so incredibly blessed that I will call you my husband.” Taylor sighed, tears welling in her eyes. “That is why you’re a best selling author, baby! You have such an incredible way that you knit words and thoughts together. You’re brilliant on top of being beautiful, fun & kind. Everyday, I find myself falling more in love with you. I know that you don’t care if I ever win another race, you always make me feel like I’m standing on top of the podium. If I could propose to you all over again…I would. I want to shout my love for you from the top of the tallest building in Miami.” Lewis laughed as he scanned the skyline. “Aht aht! Don’t you dare start singing, Prince Akeem.” She laughed, playfully covering his mouth as he sang ‘To Be Loved’ from his favorite movie, Coming to America.
“Babe, I need a Chipotle burrito.” Eliza groaned as she emerged from their bathroom in her leggings and one of Joe’s Niners shirts. “You couldn’t want Chipotle before we got back?” Joe sighed. Finding out that Anna was engaged to a man worth over $350M dollars had put him in a sour mood. He just wanted to take a nap, not that it would help him forget about her. Anna’s happiness radiated from her core and that was the part that bothered Joe the most. There was a Chipotle within walking distance of the hotel, maybe the solitude would help him process. “Alright, I’ll be back. You want chips & guacamole too?” he asked. Eliza nodded excitedly. Joe changed into his joggers and grabbed his wallet. “I’ll be back.” he smiled as he kissed his wife and closed the door behind him.
“You think the pizza at the hotel is any good?” Lewis asked as the car made its way back to the hotel. “I dunno. We should ask the concierge.” Taylor shrugged. Pizza was the one thing they rarely agreed on. Lewis liked olives and mushrooms on his pizza. Taylor hated olives and only liked mushrooms in stir fries. “I already know that we’re getting our own pizzas. Just know that you won’t be kissing me with your onion breath.” Lewis laughed. “That’s fine. I’ll kiss you enough before I eat.” she giggled, stealing a quick kiss as the car came to a stop. “Do it again.” he teased, a smile forming as she kissed him again. This kiss lingered until the driver cleared his throat. Taylor laughed. “Aww fuck.” Lewis grumbled lowly as he spotted Joe walking their way. “What’s wro…ah, shit.” she grumbled. “You want to put this to bed once and for all?” Lewis asked. “I don’t have much to say.” Taylor shrugged. “Aww, c’mon babe. He looks all sad like Will Smith in I Am Legend at the video store.” Lewis teased. “You’re so petty, Sir Hamilton.” she laughed. “Please say hello to me.” Lewis whisper laughed. “Boy! I’m not doing this with you!” she laughed. “You got 10 minutes.” he smiled, kissing her cheek before he walked off.
“I’m guessing that you told him about us?” Joe spoke. “He’s always known about us. I had to do a certain level of healing from you before I could even see him.” Taylor sighed. “Oh…he knows about Tara’s porch?” Joe asked. “Yep. We were on a break that lasted entirely too long. He knows about the LV bag full of money, too. He out did you by buying me a custom Mercedes. The question is…does Eliza know about me?” she asked. “Fuck no!” he laughed. “I kinda figured as much. Well, you don’t have to worry about me saying anything. It’s in the past, it doesn’t matter anymore. You’re married, I’m getting married. We had our time and it was glorious but anything that burns that bright must eventually burn out.” Taylor sighed. “He’ll never worship you the way I worship you.” Joe spoke. Taylor immediately picked up on him using present tense. “No, he actually worships me better than you ever could. Life is great over here.” She snapped. “Does he know about your past? I’m sure it’s not a good look for Sir Lewis Hamilton to be engaged to a former stripper.” He rolled his eyes. “Shiiiddd, I met him dancing at Tootsie’s in Miami. He doesn’t care cuz he knows that that life is far behind me. He’s the only one I throw ass for now. Want a word of advice?” She asked. “Not really.” He laughed. “Well, you’re gonna get it cuz I’m not having this conversation with you again.” She growled. “I ain’t ask to have this one.” He groaned. “No, but you’re crashing out to your cousins about how I’m engaged! Joe, do you hear how ridiculous that sounds?! You’ve been married to Eliza for what? 3 years? You and her are expecting and that’s great. What I do with my pussy and who I do it with haven’t been your business in a very long time. I mean…I’d be salty as fuck if I fumbled me too. Go be with that woman. Raise that baby and be fuckin’ happy. I’m going to go be with that wonderful man that treats me like a queen. Marry him, wear matching outfits in the paddock, have his babies and live my fuckin’ life. I’m happy for you. You’re getting the babies you always wanted.” Taylor sighed as they stepped onto the elevator. He was staying on the 8th floor, she was staying in one of the penthouses.
“Figures you’d end up with someone incredibly rich.” Joe scoffed. “That’s just an added bonus. He’s smart, funny, caring, nurturing, emotionally intelligent and fine as fuck! He actually loves me enough to talk to me about what he needs from me. He asks what I need from him. Forget about me and live your life.” Taylor shrugged. “Anna, you’re the most unforgettable person I’ve ever met.” Joe sighed sadly. This must’ve been what she felt when he dumped her via text. “Oh darling, I know. Eliza’s a sweetheart and she deserves all your attention and admiration. Having babies is the scariest & bravest thing a woman can do. Pour your love into her and the baby, my heart belongs to Lewis.” Taylor sighed as the elevator stopped on Joe’s floor. “What if I can’t accept that? I still love you.” Joe asked. “Fuck out my face, Leati. I honestly don’t give a fuck whether you accept it or not. You still love me but the feeling isn’t mutual.” She sighed. “You don’t love me but here you are…away from your man to talk to me.” He snarled. “He knows what you and I have been through together. He felt that you needed the finality. Go take that woman her Chipotle and stay the fuck away from me!” Taylor yelled, pushing him out of the elevator and pressing the door closed button.
When the doors opened on the top floor, Lewis was standing on the other side all cozy in his Tommy Hilfiger sweats. “You’re late.” He smiled. “Talking to a Samoan man is like talking to a brick wall. They’re incredibly stubborn. Cuz if I’m taking time from my man to talk to him…I must still love him…his words.” She rolled her eyes. “Yeah, you’re just a sucker for pain. I really just wanted the rest of our stay here to be pleasant. Can’t do that shit if he’s giving me the fuckin’ stink eye whenever we cross paths. I’ll swing on him, I swear I will!”
One Year Later
“Maybe our invite got lost in the mail.” Joe laughed as he watched Eliza swipe through the photos online of Taylor’s wedding. Joe was holding their son, Noah in his arms. The pain he felt in his chest surprised him, he thought that he was over Taylor. He thought wrong. “Well, she probably knew that it would be hard to attend with our little guy here. Lake Como, hmm? That’s absolutely beautiful.” She smiled. Joe tried to get over her…he really did. Getting over Anna Taylor Brown wasn’t something that just happened easily. Taylor’s gown was custom Monique Lhullier while Lewis wore a custom Dior look. It was a star studded yet intimate affair. Tay had posted a photo of her with her mother, and a video dancing with her father and of course dancing with her husband. “Ugh…they look so good! Like…ohmigod!” Eliza smiled. “You just love love don’t you?” Joe teased. “I do! Besides…I can only wish the best for the woman especially after the way you did her.” Eliza spoke nonchalantly. “Huh?” Joe stammered. “I’m not dumb darling. The way your jaw tensed up when you saw that ring he gave her…confirmed something I had suspected. Then something I overheard Josh say when we got back from Art Basel. But I got the whole tea from the source.” Eliza spoke recalling a DM she sent that led to a face-to-face meeting.
“Thank you for meeting me, Anna.” Eliza spoke shakily. She had no clue how this conversation was going to go. “No problem. I’m actually very surprised that you wanted to meet. I don’t know how I’d feel about meeting with my man’s ex.” Taylor spoke. “These pregnancy emotions have me all over the place. I guess I’m just looking for some clarity.” Eliza sighed. “Understandable. My best friend is currently pregnant and giving me and her man the blues. Do you know what you’re having yet?” Taylor asked. “A boy. I haven’t told him yet.” she sighed. “I say…make his ass sweat a bit.” Taylor laughed. “Why didn’t you tell me?” Eliza said. “It wasn’t really my business to tell. By the time you and I met face-to-face…I had moved on. I told him in Miami that he should tell you. You didn’t need to hear it from me, it would’ve come off as me still wanting him which wasn’t the case whatsoever. Lewis has known from the very beginning simply because Joe left me so destroyed that I kept pushing Lewis away. I had put up so many walls. Girl, the only time I hated you was when I wanted to be you. He picked you…the exact opposite from the woman I was and it hurt when I found out. The stripper versus the boutique owner. It took some time and a lot of tears, but I let that shit go.” Taylor said. She was finally at the point where she could talk about her relationship with Joe like it was someone else. “You hated me? Damn, sis.” Eliza sighed. “Not you but the thought of you. It was like ‘that pretty bitch is living the life I laid the foundation for’. I was only meant to lay the foundation…not live in the house if that makes any sense.” Taylor spoke. “It does. Wait…you think I’m pretty?” Eliza blushed. “One thing Joe’s gonna do is keep a baddie on his arm.” Taylor smiled. “Wait a goddamn minute! You used to be a stripper?!” Eliza gasped. “I thought he would’ve at least told you that.” Taylor laughed. “Nope, fuckin’ clueless. I…I would’ve married a stripper.” Eliza laughed. “I paid his rent while he moved to Tampa to audition for the FCW camp. Bought his first ring boots and everything. An investment in someone else’s future. Love makes us so stupid when we’re young. No way in hell I’m doing that shit without a ring nowadays.” Taylor shrugged. “Shiiidd, a ring don’t even mean security anymore.” Eliza added. “It really doesn’t. Thankfully, I was able to rediscover my dream of being a writer so…I’m pretty secure in myself.” Taylor nodded in agreement before they laughed.
“Why you ain’t say nothing, Eliza?” Joe sighed. He didn’t like being kept in the dark. “I didn’t think it was pertinent to anything we had going on. I expected it to go horribly and for me to hate her, but she’s so cool. Believe it or not, after she finished talking about you…we talked about other shit. She’s so interesting, honestly…I understand the allure completely. She thinks I should start that lifestyle blog I’ve been talking about for the longest.” Eliza smiled. “I dunno. I think it’s kinda weird.” Joe shrugged. “Well, you better get over it. She just got us a hookup on paddock passes for The Las Vegas Grand Prix.” Eliza smiled. “How much is that going to cost me?” Joe grumbled. “Nothing, my love. Paddock Passes courtesy of Sir Lewis Hamilton and Mercedes Benz.” Eliza smiled. Eliza and Anna being friends was one thing but Joe didn’t know if he could be friends with Anna’s husband. Joe had been wanting to check out a Grand Prix since he met Lewis last year and it had been a while since he had been to Vegas.
“I know you aren’t working on our Honeymoon, are you darling?” Lewis yawned as he found Taylor sitting in the office of their Colorado estate. Roscoe and her rescue puppy Iris sat at her feet. “This isn’t our honeymoon. This is F1 Summer Break, I don’t get my honeymoon until the season is over. And you know creativity doesn’t stop. I wanted to get this idea out of my head before I lost it. I hate being on the laptop in bed while you sleep. So, I came down here. Go back to bed, mi amor.” Taylor yawned as she rubbed her eyes. “Not without my wife.” Lewis smiled as he pulled up a chair next to her and started reading. “So…like a siren? He lures people in with his voice and it drives them crazy. He’s the last of his kind and falls in love with a deaf woman? So a kind of dark romance?” He asked as he read the outline. “Yeah, exactly like that.” She smiled. “He should drive Formula 1.” Lewis laughed. “Absolutely not, hits too close to home. He’s a singer, she’s oblivious because she’s been deaf since birth.” Taylor added. “I really like where this is going, babe. I’m still trying to decipher which male character is based off of me. Arcane is obviously Joe. Declan is your Dad.” He noted. “You have yet to meet Lucien, my love. That is you. He’s regal, handsome, sweet, loyal, seductive, obsessive and extremely dangerous…just like you.” Taylor laughed.
“You won’t let me read it! I NEED to see how you’ve written me.” He pouted. “The book comes out in a few weeks. You can meet Lucien at the same time as the rest of the world.” She laughed as she saved her work and shut her laptop. “I have a surprise for you once we get home to London.” He said as he grabbed her laptop. “I love surprises…especially when they come from you. You give me the most random, most perfect gifts.” Taylor smiled as they headed back to the master bedroom. Lewis had gotten her a Bentley Bentayga to drive in London, their primary residence. ”As your husband, it’s my job to supply all your wants and needs while still being able to surprise you from time to time.” Lewis laughed as the automatic lights clicked off behind them. “You’re doing a smashing job, darling.” Taylor laughed as she crawled back into bed. “Speaking of smash…” Lewis laughed as he closed the bedroom door, leaving the dogs out in the hallway. “I thought you were sleepy!” Taylor laughed. “I was. Now, I’m not. But…I’m sure my lovely, flexible wife with the perfectly shaped ass could put me to sleep.” Lewis growled as he crawled into bed behind her.
“Oh no…not The Hammer.” Taylor scoffed as she arched her ass into him. “That’s my girl. Wake him up.” He laughed as she pushed him onto his back. Lewis loved it when she took control. Taylor straddled his lap and pushed his pants down to his knees. “The summer break is for you to relax! Not to fuck me all day. Don’t you wanna go hiking or something?” Taylor laughed as she pulled her shorts off. “I am relaxing! Especially when you’re bouncing on it.” Lewis moaned as she sank down onto him. He loved watching her mouth drop at the sensation of being stretched. “It’s thick, I know, baby. I know.” He cooed, his hands grabbing her hips. Her hips rolled against his, her eyes locking into his. “I love you.” Taylor moaned, her hands rubbing his chest. “And I love you. You feel so good inside…my god!” He groaned. Lewis wrapped his hand around her throat and pulled her down to his lips. He bit her bottom lip before kissing her passionately. Their tongues danced across each other as Taylor rode him towards an explosive ending. Her core tingled with anticipation as her muscles tensed around him. “Look at how well you take me. I’m so proud of you.” He smiled darkly, his free hand snaking between them to massage her clit. Taylor’s body shook as her orgasm incinerated her.
Lewis flipped until he was on top. “All that polite Brit shit goes right out of the window.” She laughed as her walls gripped around his flesh. “Not my fault you turn me into a savage. You shouldn’t feel like Heaven. You shouldn’t take Daddy’s dick so well. Look at you, baby.” He growled, kissing her pouty lips hungrily. Taylor wrapped her legs around his waist, pulling him in deeper. “Anna…god.” He breathed as his orgasm sizzled in his muscles. “I love when you worship me, angel.” Taylor smiled as she felt him pulsing inside her. “Let go for me, baby. I need you.” Taylor moaned as her second orgasm washed over her. “Ohhh fuccckk.” Lewis moaned as his orgasm crashed into him. “Wasn’t that better than just going to bed?” Lewis laughed. “Definitely. At some point, babe, you gotta leave me alone. I’m supposed to be working on my next draft. You get me alone and just don’t know how to act!” she giggled as she cuddled up beside him. “Are you filing an official complaint?” He teased. “I’d very much like a word with the manager.” She laughed.
“I can’t believe that we’ve been married for a whole week! It’s insane. I’m so happy.” Lewis sighed happily. “I managed to pin down Hot Boy Lewis, what voodoo did I put on you?” Taylor laughed. “I don’t know but I love it over here with you. I feel like I should get Joe a new Mercedes as a thank you for fumbling you so epically.” He laughed. “Paddock passes are more than enough. He can buy his own damn car. His dream car was always a Rolls Royce drop top. White with peanut butter leather. That’s all he used to talk about.” Taylor shrugged. “And what about Anna? What is her dream car?” Lewis asked. “That’s a loaded question. A 1967 Chevy Camaro SS, but if we’re talking luxury rides…Aston Martin DB.” She laughed, his eyes widened in shock. He had gotten the wrong thing. “But…my man always seems to pick out something perfect for me. The DB is so dope but it doesn’t have enough space for Iris and Roscoe.” Taylor smiled as she watched his bright eyes get lower and lower. “Mmm hmm. I got you, love. Good night, wifey.” He spoke before drifting off to sleep. Taylor stole another kiss before following suit.
November, Las Vegas
“What are your plans before coming to the track?” Lewis asked as he got dressed to leave, Taylor was slathering body oil on her brown skin. “Meeting with either Joe or Taylor to give them their passes, they can come to Media Day or not. I know they want to stop by the event tonight at House 44. I’ll head to the track after that.” Taylor smiled as she turned around for him to moisturize her back. “My favorite part of your morning routine. Did you have someone at the club to rub you down before you hit the stage?” Lewis laughed. “Yeah, Tara.” she laughed. “Haze would’ve had a short career messing with me. If I had come to Atlanta and seen you dancing…I’d pay all this ass to stay home and just dance for me.” he growled, his hand smacking her ass. “And I would’ve.” she laughed. “You’re lucky I don’t have time for a quickie cuz you’d be in serious trouble Senora Hamilton.” Lewis laughed as he pulled his team shirt over his head. “Not to be the gaudy American but…I think you need another chain.” she smiled as she walked over to the open safe. She pulled out a thin diamond tennis chain. “Wifey making sure the drip is on point. Thanks, baby. See you in a bit. Love you.” he smiled as he grabbed his phone and rushed to the door. “Wait!” Taylor giggled as she crushed her lips to his. “Love you. Now go!” she laughed as she shoved his Mercedes hat into his hand and pushed him out into the hallway. “Damn, such a tease.” he smiled, before turning to walk away.
“Look at you all dressed up to see your girlfriend.” Joe teased as Eliza primped in the mirror of their suite. “There’s only one of us who’s had the pleasure of being between her thighs, my love.” Eliza snapped. “You sound jealous.” Joe laughed as he spritzed on his cologne. “Hell yeah I am. Your moving foul definitely fucked up any chance of my dream threesome. Cuz the thought of you now and her now…my god!” Eliza fanned herself. “Calm down.” Joe rolled his eyes. Anna and Eliza together would be amazing but Anna would never go for that…neither would her husband. They headed down to the lobby and over to Taylor’s hotel.
“Damn, we should’ve stayed here. This shit is nice.” Eliza gasped as they walked into the Cosmopolitan hotel. “I was trying but this place has been booked for months. I think the drivers stay here.” Joe sighed. “They’re called pilots, babe.” Eliza smiled as she opened the message from Taylor. “Right, pilots. You wanna check this media day thing out or do our own thing?” Joe yawned. “I thought you wanted the full Formula 1 experience. This is where the money is at, Big Guy.” she smiled as she spotted Taylor walking off the elevator. Media Day was always casual and fun, so Taylor had on wide leg track pants and a cropped Mercedes team shirt with the number 44 on the back in crystals. Her hair hung in a braid over her shoulder tucked neatly into a colofrul Mercedes team hat. “God bless Mercedes.” Eliza grumbled as she waved Taylor over.
“Eliza…Joe…so glad y’all were able to come. As promised…Paddock Passes courtesy of my wonderful husband. Also, you should have gotten an email confirming that you’ve been added to the House44 event tonight.” Taylor smiled. “Yes, thanks girl. You look cute.” Eliza smiled as she took the bright red lanyards. “No problem. As the only American wife in the paddock, it has been thrust upon me to help grow the sport in the States…especially with people of color. At least that’s what LH tells me.” she laughed. She noticed Joe staring hard at the stack of waist beads wrapped around her waist. “Hey Big Head. You’re awfully quiet over there. Looking very luxurious. Is that linen?” Taylor teased. “Taylor…hey. You look…damn, girl. You look very rich. See the husband got you all iced out.” Joe teased. “You know how it is…gotta match the spousal swag. So wassup? Y’all wanna roll up to Media Day or y’all going out to be cute on the strip in matching outfits?” Taylor smiled. “We are following our Formula 1 sherpa. We’re virgins to this shit.” Eliza smiled. “I’ll have you swiping that V card all over the Strip in no time. Let’s go, there’s a car waiting.” Taylor winked. “You gotta fuckin’ chill.” Joe grumbled as they followed Taylor outside. “Tell all that ass in them track pants to chill!” Eliza grumbled.
“I know I just saw you but…where is my wife?” Lewis texted Taylor between interviews. “Swiping in now. Are you at the trailer?” Taylor smiled as her phone rang. “I’m so glad that you went with the track pants. Your ass looks amazing, I want to bite it.” Lewis growled as he watched Taylor walking towards him followed by Joe and Eliza. “Calm down. There’s plenty of time for that later. Ooh, I see you cutie pie.” She smiled as she hung up. Seeing Lewis always made Taylor’s heart flutter, today was no different. “You wanna see the garage?” She asked. “Yeah, that sounds cool.” Joe smiled. “It’s very cool, Joe. Of course the car is amazing but the command center is my personal favorite.” She smiled, walking off towards her man.
Lewis stepped out onto the welcome area of the team trailer, a smile on his lips at the sight of his wife. “Hey sexy mama. I see you brought the fan club.” Lewis laughed as he wrapped his arms around her waist. As usual, his hands traveled down to her ass. “You know…ambassador to the US and all that shit. I take my job very seriously. Be on your best behavior.” She smiled as she pressed kisses into his lips. “Aren’t I always a good boy for you?” He growled softly. After giving the photographers a show, Lewis turned to Joe. “Welcome to the Paddock. Let me show y’all some cool shit. Eliza, you look lovely.” Lewis smiled as he shook her hand. “I tried to dress to impress. You two look effortlessly casual.” Eliza smiled. “Taylor has become my statement piece. People notice when she isn’t by my side. Darling, Toto wants to see you. I’ll show our guests around and meet us down in the garage?” Lewis smiled. “Uh oh…sounds like I’m in trouble. Meet you down in the garage.” Taylor smiled. Lewis kissed her cheek and smacked her ass before sending her inside. They all watched her walk away.

“Aww, come on T. It’s the Grand Finale before we open the new building. You gotta come!” A voice said. “It’s been 3 years. I left that life behind. I’ve got a draft due. Heaven forbid a bitch wanna get off the pole and write black horror.” She laughed as she looked at her schedule for the last Friday in May. She technically didn’t have anything planned that would prevent her being in Atlanta. Her draft would be completed and turned in for review. “I’m not a dancer anymore. I don’t even dance for the men I entertain.” Taylor sighed. “You could’ve ran the city.” Tara laughed. “I did run the city! We ran the city! We did the music videos. The private parties. Danced for hella famous niggas. We had them packed in! Wall to wall just emptying their fuckin pockets!” Taylor laughed. “Yeah, then you had to go fall in love with writing.” Tara scoffed. “Bitch! I wrote a New York Times bestseller! It was a risk worth taking.” Taylor laughed. “T, at first it felt like you left me behind. It doesn’t anymore, but I miss shaking ass and emptying pockets with my favorite cousin! Sammie wanted me to reach out to some of our former stars and obviously you were the first to come to mind. Think about it…you get to keep your tips! And…I’ll help you prep since you rusty.” Tara laughed.
“Let me think about it. I’ll be in touch. Have a good night.” Taylor said before they ended the call. Taylor rolled out of bed and went in front of her full-length mirror. She was actually more toned than she was when she danced. Men who frequented strip clubs didn’t want super toned bodies, they wanted asses that clapped. She turned around and shook her ass like the rent was due, it still clapped heavy. “Bitch…you still got that shit!” She laughed before turning off the closet light and diving back in bed.
“It’s one night. I think you should do it.” Geneva laughed as she sat in Taylor’s kitchen drinking mint tea. “You’re my agent, you’re supposed to talk me out of this! I’m a writer now.” Taylor grumbled. “But as your best friend, I’m saying that you should go and have some fun. You’ve been grinding your ass off and it’s time to reap the benefits.” Geneva laughed. “How does going back to my old job and shaking ass help me reap the benefits of my hard work?” Taylor said as she walked back to the stove to check on the eggs. “Maybe your next book could be about a haunted strip club. Or…hear me out…maybe you’re shaking ass and clearing out old energy to make way for someone new.” Geneva winked. “I don’t need no man. My life is fine how it is.” Taylor snapped. “Ah ha! There it is! You’re still stuck on him!” Geneva spoke. “I’m not still stuck on him! I’m pissed off at him. But he made his choice. Nobody marries a stripper. Everyone assumes that we fuck patrons for money and it taints us. I just danced.” Taylor pouted. “Except for him.” Geneva added. Taylor threw the oven mitt at her best friend who couldn’t stop laughing.
“And look what that got me?! I get to watch some prissy little bitch live my life with my man! Honestly, fuck Joe and Eliza Anoa’i! I took care of him while he pursued this wrestling shit and picked up extra shifts so he could go audition in Tampa and I’m the one who gets cast aside?” Taylor snarled. “Calm down, sis. You’ll burn the eggs.” Geneva laughed. “You want a croissant?” Taylor grumbled. “Hell yeah I want a croissant! You buy the good ones from Whole Foods!” Geneva teased in an attempt to lighten the mood. Taylor wiped the tears from her eyes as she cut the croissants in half and put them on the buttered griddle. “Not that you have these problems but do you know how it feels to just get thrown aside like an old bone?” Taylor grumbled as her tears sizzled on the hot griddle. “You ain’t no old bone! As many men ask me about you. You got motion out in these streets. I’m tired of telling them that you’re in a relationship. It’s time to let Joe go.” Geneva groaned. “You right, sis. More like in mourning for a life that should be mine! Time to bury that shit. Fuck it, I’ma do it!” Taylor announced as she plated warm croissants.
6 weeks later
“I can’t believe that I’m about to do this. This is crazy!” Taylor grumbled as she sat in front of a vanity mirror finishing her makeup. “Hey OG. You think you still can hang with us?” Blanca, one of the younger girls teased. All she ever heard was how Haze used to tear it up back in the day. “Stick close, young buck…might learn something tonight.” Taylor teased. Taylor had willingly left this world to pursue her dream of being a writer, she had no beef with the girls that came after her. Tonight was a night for everybody to eat.
“Joe, I cannot believe that you got us in downtown Atlanta at a strip club. I ain’t been to one in years.” Josh laughed as they drove to a place where they spent a lot of time in their late 20s. “They’re about to close down so…I figure one last wild night out cuz I will not be stepping foot inside another strip club after this.” Joe laughed. “Lap dances on you?” Jon asked. “Hell yeah. Check the bag in the back.” Joe laughed. Jon unzipped the LV backpack to see it stuffed with cash. “Uce, there’s like at least 50 racks in here.” Jon said. “Something like that. Like I said…we’re having fun tonight.” he laughed. “Does Eliza know about this?” Josh asked. “Hell no! She thinks we’re at the Hawks game.” Joe laughed. “Uh oh, trouble in paradise already? Y’all ain’t even been married a year.” Jon spoke from the backseat. “Not really. She’s just a little…dainty and that’s not what I need right now.” Joe shrugged. He loved his wife, he really did but sometimes things could be a little too vanilla for him.
“Uh oh…what’s her name?” Josh teased. “Whatchu mean, Uce?” Joe sighed. “The stripper you seen on IG that you trynna see dance. Cuz I know there is one.” Josh teased. “Man, shut up!” Joe said. “She got a big booty?” Jon added. They both remembered the big booty stripper that took care of him while he was trying to break into wrestling. He dumped her as soon as the ink was dry on his contract. “Of course she got a big booty! Her name is Blanca. Just wanna see that ass shake and then I’m going home to my wife.” Joe grumbled. He thought about Taylor often and hoped that she was well. She had blocked him on everything.
“Ok, Tay…ready for your first dance?” Tara asked. “I don’t know why I agreed to do 3 dances. I’m too old for this shit!” Taylor laughed as she gave herself one last look over in the mirror. “Let me come learn from the master. Good luck, old timer.” Blanca teased. Taylor found calm in her signature smoke that had preceded her entrance for 8 years. She transformed into a different beast as ‘All of the Lights’ blared over the speakers combined with purple lights. Blanca admired her technicality while still being sexy and captivating. Taylor moved effortlessly to the beat. “I missed this shit.” She thought to herself as Taylor let Haze take the controls.
“Who’d you pay off to get a duffel bag in the club?” Josh laughed as the hostess led them to the VIP table that Joe had reserved. “Listen, just tell Eliza that the sex is vanilla and you need a little spice from time to time. We ain’t gotta be here.” Jon shrugged. He watched his brother’s mouth drop in amazement as the dancer on the pole dropped down into a full split. “Damn.” He mumbled before turning his attention back to whatever Joe was talking about. They had both missed it. Josh couldn’t see her face but all that ass she was throwing could be seen from anywhere in the club.
“You shut me right on up, auntie. Go head wit yo bad self!” Blanca smiled as Taylor walked past her. “Told you, youngin!” Taylor laughed. “Naw, for real. Every time I try to switch my hands on the pole like that I damn near dismount and break my neck!” Blanca grumbled. “It’s a gymnastics style hold. Maybe I can teach it to you before the new club opens. Go do your set and I will have notes.” Taylor laughed as she sent the girl out to the stage. Blanca danced to Rae Sremmurd’s ‘Come Get Her’. “She’s got potential.” Taylor laughed as she watched from the back with Tara. “She’s just trying to reheat your nachos, boo. I tell that girl to get into Yoga cuz she’s still a little stiff.” Tara laughed, walking away to prepare for her own dance.
Joe watched as Blanca spun around the pole. He wondered how he ended up here…again. He was married and he lied to his wife about his whereabouts for the night. Blanca could immediately identify Joe as a ‘Big Fish’, he had it written all over him. She locked eyes with him and added an extra flip to her hair. The seductive smile came once she saw that he was throwing big bills. “Got one.” She thought to herself. This was going to be a fun night. What felt like an eternity to Blanca was seconds to Joe. She winked and mouthed “Thank you.” As she gathered up the money. Taylor couldn’t see who Blanca connected with but he had deep pockets. “Take note auntie. This is how you make bank.” Blanca teased as she put her money in a Publix bag. “Not you trynna go band for band after one dance. You forget that I don’t do this anymore. I’m having fun out here.” Taylor laughed. She was working her way to a 30 gallon trash bag. “Scared that I’ll out earn you? Come on girl…none of these girls got that dog in them but I can clearly see that you do. Just a friendly wager. Say…a thousand?” Blanca pleaded. “Alright, fine. I only want big bills.” Taylor laughed.
“Was it everything you hoped it would be, Uce?” Jon teased as Joe rejoined the conversation. “She’s so dope. Might have to snag a lap dance cuz that ass is really something.” Joe laughed. Josh hadn’t found anyone he wanted to tip until a familiar face came to the stage, Tara. They were cool back when Joe & Taylor were together. They locked eyes and Tara continued with her dance. Thankfully, Tara didn’t see Joe until she was done on the pole. “Aww shit.” She grumbled. Taylor was going to crash out. She finished her dance and made her way backstage. “You slowing down old woman.” Taylor teased. “I need to holla at you for a minute, shawty.” Tara spoke as she pulled Taylor into the back office.
“Man, I ain’t see Tara in a minute. She still look good.” Joe said. “She still likes girls, Uce. I bet she’s still the best wing woman.” Josh shrugged. He remembered their days at the club picking up girls.
“What’s wrong girl? You look like you seen a ghost.” Taylor said as she watched Tara’s eyes. “I was doing my dance, minding my own business when I saw Josh.” Tara said. “Josh who? It’s hella niggas named Josh.” Taylor laughed. “No, Josh Fatu. And his brother Jon. And…Joe is here too.” Tara sighed. Taylor looked at the security camera and there he was, as clear as day…the object of her disdain. And he looked amazing. “Fuck my life! I gotta go.” Taylor groaned. “Nuh uh! You staying your ass right here.” Blanca spoke from the doorway. “Blanca, stay out of this.” Taylor sighed. “Do we gotta have security throw somebody out? You know they don’t play about us.” Blanca laughed. “I should but that’s messy. My ex is here.” Taylor sighed. “Oh, word? He fine? What happened? Spill the tea, sis.” Blanca laughed as she pulled up a chair. Taylor pointed him out on the security camera. “That’s Big Fish! He was trash?” Blanca asked. “Girl…so trash. He used me as a stepping stone and left me in the dirt. Now he’s here…blowing my money.” Taylor sighed.
“It’s legend around here that Haze used to throw serious ass and empty pockets. Don’t tell me that you scared, OG.” Blanca hinted. “Scared? Fuck no. Angry…hell yeah. I don’t like being angry on the pole. The last time I was angry on the pole…cuz of Joe, a fight broke out in the crowd. Shut the whole shit down. Whatever I convey up there emotionally…is broadcast across the whole club. For me…that pole is a conduit.” Taylor grumbled. “That’s what makes you so special. You get up there and make men feel things other than lust. They only want to fuck me. Make that man want to give you all his money. I’m here to help however I can. Ooh…let’s do one together!” Blanca squealed excitedly. “I think you should do it.” Tara added. “You’re the worst! You’re my big cousin, you’re supposed to talk me out of making rash decisions!” Taylor laughed.
“You think Taylor’s working tonight?” Josh asked. “One thing Taylor gonna do is be about her money. Of course her ass is here. Probably back in the VIP rooms doing private dances. That’s where she preferred to be. She was a fuckin demon on that pole, it transformed her into this sex siren. I’d give her this whole bag if she climbed her angry ass up that pole.” Joe spoke. He wasn’t trying to manifest it, but Taylor did something dangerous to him. “I’ll be back.” Joe grumbled as he got up to go to the bathroom. On his way back to the table, he spotted Tara walking to the VIP. “Hey Tara.” He smiled as he stopped her, she rolled her eyes. “Joe.” She spoke, her voice heavy with disdain for the man who broke her cousin’s heart. “I know she’s here. She back there? I want a lap dance.” Joe smiled. “She ain’t back here. And even if she was…I doubt she’d want to give you a dance.” Tara groaned. She knew that Taylor was hitting the stage with Blanca very shortly.
“I hope I can keep up, OG.” Blanca laughed as they went over some last minute logistics. “I can’t believe you got me about to dance to this. Why can’t I go first?” Taylor grumbled. “Cuz your ass moves more than mine! I’ve been trying to make my ass clap like you can all damn year!” Blanca teased. “Alright. You better be lucky that Tara likes you.” Taylor laughed. “You don’t like me? You’re my idol, my Beyoncé.” Blanca laughed as the music started. “I like you just fine, boo. Let’s go drain some pockets.” Taylor smiled as she nudged Blanca out onto the stage. Taylor cheered her on as she twerked to ‘Get It Sexy’. Of course, Joe made his way back to the table. “Always thinkin’ with his dick.” Tara laughed as she made sure she had a good seat for the pending show. Blanca motioned for someone who was just off stage. Sammie allowed the smoke to billow from the machine. “Calling Ms. Haze to the stage.” He smiled as Taylor stepped out into view. The song transitioned to something with a heavier baseline. The DJ only did that for one of two people: Tara and Taylor. And Tara was walking around in a tiger stripe body stocking. Taylor twerked to a mashup of Huey’s ‘Pop, Lock & Drop it’ & Big Boogie’s ‘Choppa, Lock & Drop it’. Blanca watched Joe’s reaction and adjusted accordingly, making it rain money over Taylor’s bouncing ass.
“Oh…Uce is BIG gone!” Josh teased as Joe’s eyes hadn’t left Taylor’s bouncing ass since she walked out. The stack of money in his hand was almost gone without him realizing it. That ass always made him black out. “Get on the pole.” Joe thought to himself, it was like she was reading his mind. The music transitioned to ‘Twerk’ by the City Girls as Blanca and Taylor climbed the same pole. Taylor was up top and Blanca was closer to the bottom. “Well, damn.” Jon mumbled as the two women moved their asses against each other. The twins laughed as Joe unconsciously grabbed another band of cash from the bag. “He should’ve just married her. Could be having this at home. She used to strip for him all the time, he never shut up about that shit.” Josh shrugged. Taylor climbed back up the pole before cascading down gracefully. Even Blanca watched in awe. She would have to learn that move.Taylor playfully bowed as the song ended. She placed her imaginary crown on Blanca, her official replacement before turning to leave. She locked eyes with Joe who was wearing a lovestruck grin. He was holding the stack of $100s in her direction. “This for me, sweetheart?” she smiled. She hated this man but she wasn’t turning down money she helped him earn in the first place. “Hey baby.” he smiled as her hand touched his. She grabbed the stack and strutted offstage.
“Bitch…you cold as fuck! He just handed you like 10 bands with a dumbass smile on his face! I don’t even think he realized it. Mans was fully entranced.” Blanca teased. “I know. If I went back out there…he’d do it again.” Taylor laughed as they waited for the money to be swept up. As the stage cleared, Joe finally found himself in control of his mind. “She still so fuckin’ fine! Goddamn.” he groaned. “Taylor’s gonna be fine until she decides that she doesn’t wanna be fine anymore. That's a scientific fact, Uce.” Josh rolled his eyes. “You go see if you can get that lapdance so we can get the fuck out of here.” Jon groaned. He had previously wanted one from Blanca but now all he could see was Taylor. “Not to play Devil’s Advocate but I think you should go see if he wants a lapdance. Make him pay what he owes! Ooh, I think I have something for you to wear.” Blanca giggled as she scampered away to her locker.
Taylor already had stumbled across this mesh dress in her old stockpile of club gear. It made her body look incredible. Blanca scampered back over with a pink mini dress with the sides cut out. Taylor held up her dress. “Well, shut my ass right on up. This cute as shit. If he doesn’t rip it off of you…can I have it?” Blanca asked. “I got this down at that Asian Dollar store down on 37th. I remember getting a lot of my stuff down there. We should go before I leave.” Taylor smiled as she shimmied into the mesh. She spritzed Killian’s Love Don’t Be Shy on her body before fixing her hair. “Yasss! I loves me a bad bitch! Go shake that ass in his face. Scratch that…put the pussy on his top lip and then leave him on brick. I’m staying away from him. He’s yours to ruin oh Haze the Destroyer!” Blanca playfully bowed as she nudged Taylor towards the door. Taylor emerged from the back, her first stop needed to be the bar.
Joe had been watching the door, he watched Taylor emerge from it many nights. Anything that Roman Reigns exuded in terms of aura and sex appeal, Joe learned from Haze. He learned from her how to create a stage persona that is different from the real life person. Onstage Haze was this unreal being, a beacon of sexual desire. At home, Taylor loved reading, cooking, Legos, and all things Star Wars. For a brief moment in time, she was his everything. And he left her…left her for a career where he thought he’d be judged for marrying a stripper. He actually caught more heat in the locker room for not marrying the stripper.
The door opened and Taylor strutted out. She was one of many scantily clad women in the room but to Joe, she was the only woman in the room. The “dress” fit her form perfectly as she made her way to the bar. “Tequila with a splash of soda and pineapple juice…for the OG.” The bartender Justice laughed. “Thank you. I need like 3 more of these.” She laughed. “Yeah, I saw your boy is here. Want me to have security touch him up? He shol’ did you wrong. You good?” The man asked. “Let him enjoy himself tonight. I’m going to spend the rest of the time he’s here draining his pockets. That last dance…he didn’t even throw nuthin, just handed me the whole stack of hunnids.” Taylor laughed. “That’s cuz you still got it! Sure you don’t want to come headline at the new spot? You and Blanca had the masses captivated! You hear me?!” He laughed as he spotted Taylor’s ex walking towards them. “Heads up, baby. Trouble’s heading your way. Holla if you need me to send the goons.” He smiled as he went back to making drinks.
“Taylor?” Joe spoke. His heart fluttered as she turned around, her scent seducing his nostrils. “Joe, hello.” Taylor smiled. It was hollow. He almost broke her once, he wasn’t getting a second chance. “You look delicious, girl…damn.” He grumbled. “I know. You’re the last person I expected to see here. How can I help you? Get you a dance? Blanca gives a great dance. Or maybe Cherelle.” She smiled. She knew what he wanted. “I was hoping that you would be willing to dance for me.” He smiled. “Oh sweetheart, yesterday’s price is not today’s price.” She laughed as she turned to walk away. He stopped her. “I tip much better than I used to. You’re still here so I’m sure you could use the money.” He spoke arrogantly. “I’d hope so. You were broke as fuck back then. It would be a shame if you were still struggling. Not Roman Reigns.” She rolled her eyes. “So you watch me on tv? You like what you see?” He smiled arrogantly. “It drips down my legs.” She spoke. Taylor had seen him on tv but she didn’t watch and she definitely wasn’t wet watching him. It didn’t matter which job she was doing, the job was to sell fantasy.
“Let’s go to the back like we used to.” Joe spoke, his voice heavy with longing. “Make it rain for me and I’ll make it rain for you.” Taylor smiled. “Alright, bet.” He smiled as she grabbed his hand and led him to the back. “You know he’s trying to smash too.” Josh told his brother as they watched Taylor lead Joe to one of the “private“ booths. “The question is…will she let him? That fool still got his ring on. Triflin ass!” Jon grumbled. “Any special requests?” Taylor smiled as Joe sat down on the leather chair. “You know what I like.” He smiled. “Just relax, Daddy. Let me take care of you.” Taylor smiled as she turned the music on to something slow. “Wicked Games” by The Weeknd was one of his favorites to watch her dance to. The lyrics rang true as he had left his wife at home to think he was at an NBA game. Eliza had no reason not to trust him.
Joe knew that he had no business being in this strip club with her but the allure of Taylor was too strong to resist. He should’ve come back for her. This woman held him down and lifted him up and he abandoned her. He owed many of his current successes to her believing in him and supporting him as he pursued his dream. He should’ve paid for her writing classes like she paid for his training fees and ring gear. In a backhanded way, he was now paying for her to pursue her dreams, if being a writer was still her dream. “Take this off.” He growled as his fingers traced along the hem of her dress. “That’s going to cost you.” She smiled. He unzipped the duffel bag. “This enough?” He smiled as he flashed her the contents of the bag. There had to be at least $50K. “It’s a start.” She smiled as she pulled the mesh off her frame. “How much to get my autograph tattooed on this luscious ass of yours?” He growled, his hand smacking her ass while it swayed to the music. “Not enough is in that bag.” Taylor laughed, his fingers tracing along the band of her g-string. “Yesterday’s price is not today’s price, got it. Would still look pretty good.” He laughed.
“Your name on me would indicate ownership. Doesn’t matter how much is in this bag, you’ll never own me.” Taylor laughed, her ass shaking in his face. “Everyone has a price…even you. Still here shaking for dollar bills where I left you.” He growled. “My bills are paid, my life is simple. I work, I go home.” She groaned. “Sell the fantasy.” She reminded herself. Recently, her life had been anything but simple. A New York Times Bestseller and another on the way. She had sold millions of books and had been contacted by Universal for a potential movie deal for book 1. If he had stayed, he would know that. Now, he had to take whatever crumbs she gave him.
“Want Big Daddy to buy you a nice condo in South Beach? I can take you away from all this. You’d only have to dance for me.” He smiled as she straddled his lap. “That’s what they all say. You come back with a little bit of money and want to make me a kept woman? You picked the woman you wanted to keep.” She teased as she tapped his wedding band. “You can’t strip forever, Anna.” He smiled, his hands pulling her closer until her breasts were in his face. “Not you using my government name, Leati. Last time you called me that, was when you told me that you got into the academy. Then you proceeded to break up with me a week later. You don’t get to speak to Anna.” She spoke. ”Sorry.” He pouted, his hands grabbing her waist. “You know the rules. I touch you, you don’t touch me.” She laughed. She did miss his hands on her body.
“You‘ve always bent the rules for me.” Joe smiled darkly, his fingertip brushing against her swollen clit through the fabric of her panties. “And look where that got me.” Taylor scoffed. She muffled a moan as his lips wrapped around her nipple, her hips unconsciously grinding against him. “See? Daddy still knows what you like. I ain’t forgot you, baby.” He sighed before he flicked his tongue across her other nipple. All it took was Taylor’s attention on him and her touch and Joe was seconds away from blowing his load. He thanked God for his decision to wear black pants, they were both so close to ecstasy. Joe missed the floaty euphoria of being with her.
“Yes, you fuckin did! You used me as a stepping stone to get where you wanted in life then tossed me aside for a respectable woman! I had already given you a home. I supported you when you were at your lowest and you made me look & feel stupid! Whatever amount that’s in this bag isn’t nearly enough. Fuck off Joe!” She growled, kissing & biting his lip before she grabbed the bag and stormed off. He missed her biting his lip when she kissed him, it always sent him plummeting into his orgasm…that hadn’t changed.
“Fucccckk.” He groaned as he sat in a post-nut solitude. He didn’t get to fuck but at least he had a good nut. He really did do her dirty. Taylor always had his back and he let everyone get in his head. Truth was, he wanted to marry her. He wanted to take care of her and support her dreams like she had supported him. Now he found himself sitting in a booth with her scent in the air, her taste on his fingers, an empty dick, and his wallet $50K lighter. “I’m sorry, Anna.” He grumbled under his breath.
Taylor crouched down in the corner of the locker room with the duffel bag beside her. “What’s wrong, girl?! Did he do something crazy?” Blanca spoke as she ran over to a crying Taylor. “I loved him so fuckin much. More than I loved myself. I’m still so angry. I hate this. It’s been 3 muthafuckin’ years! He shouldn’t still have a hold on my heart like this.” Taylor sighed. After hearing her thoughts out loud for the first time in years, something happened. She stood up, dusted herself off and remembered that this was not her life anymore. This was just one night. “I’m gonna be ok. Gonna have to pass out with my rose but I’ll live. I miss Waffle House. I’m thinking we should go after we’re done.” Taylor sighed as she shoved the bag in her locker. All Taylor wanted to do was take a hot shower and crawl into bed, but they still had the final dance coming up.
“I’m going to the car. Come out whenever y’all ready to go.” Joe grumbled to his cousins as he finished his drink and left the club. He wasn’t carrying the LV bag anymore and he seemed agitated. His bottom lip was a little swollen but it hid a satisfied smile. “I’m guessing that that didn’t go as planned. I don’t have to stay for the last dance. I’m about tapped out on cash anyway.” Jon shrugged. Josh spotted Tara walking and waved her over. “Hey, Big Head. Wasn’t expecting to see you out here tonight.” She smiled as she hugged them both before sitting down. “Not you sitting down on the job, T.” Jon laughed. “I’m an OG Sammie girl…I do what I want!” She teased. “What’s up with Tay? I see she is still fine as hell. Still able to hypnotize Big Uce. What happened? He left in a hurry.” Josh asked. “I don’t even know. I know Tay took him back to his favorite booth. I haven’t seen her since. Hang tight, I’ma go see.” Tara smiled as she walked away. “Damn…what is in the water where they from?” Jon grumbled as he couldn’t help but to watch her hips sway. “I don’t know but God bless that land, Uce. Again…she like girls, though.” Josh groaned.
“Status check Tay. Why’d Joe leave in a rush?” Tara asked her cousin. “I told him to fuck off. I was on his lap, grinding his good sense away…he had my nipple in his mouth and his fingers in my cat and I told him to fuck off. He definitely busted a nut and probably feels guilty cuz how’s he gonna face wifey after that?!” Taylor rolled her eyes. “Hoe, is you cool?” Tara laughed. “I’m…I’ll live. I got a cute little Louis V bag stuffed with his money for my troubles. Why? Is his big head ass out there making a fuss?” Taylor laughed as she tied the top to her grand finale outfit. “No, his cousins were asking if everything was ok.” Tara laughed. “Yeah, I hit a lick and now he got a fuckin attitude. Whatever, fuck that nigga.” Taylor groaned. “He ain’t hurt you or nuthin did he?” Tara growled. “Only my feelings. I’ll be fine, girl.” Taylor smiled. Tara knew her cousin and she could sense that she’d be ok with time. If anything, Joe may be the inspiration for the villain in her next book.
“Can’t keep a bad bitch down. Only hurt feelings her way.” Tara shrugged. “Oh ok. I’m still local, let’s link up. We can have lunch or sum’n.” Josh smiled. “Yeah, fa sho. Hit my DMs cuz I lost your number.” Tara smiled as she waved goodbye and went on about her night. “Can we go now? I’m starting to feel like a brokey.” Jon laughed. “Yeah, they’re livestreaming the grande finale on IG, I’m bout to watch from the car.” Josh laughed as he got up from the table. Thanks to Taylor and Tara, he had a lot of good memories from this place and not all of them had to do with ass shakin. “Aww, guess they’re leaving. Oh well.” Blanca laughed as she watched from the side stage. “Let me get this last little bit of money and take my ass back to New York. I got books to write.” Taylor sighed. “Yes! Let’s go fuck up some commas. Can we share the center pole again? That shit was so dope. My ass is scared to go up as high as you go and then drop down.” Blanca smiled. “Girl, we gone have to break that fear. The higher you go, the more godlike you feel.” Taylor smiled as she zipped up her shoes. After a brief speech from Sammie about the legacy of the building that was closing down, he called all dancers to the stage.
Joe sat in the front seat of his G-Wagon filled with mixed feelings. He thought that he was over Taylor, but her words cut him deeper than he thought they would. He should’ve taken her away from a life on the pole like she took him away from a life of assembling office furniture for his sister’s company. She always stood ten toes down for him and he didn’t do the same. All of the unresolved feelings meant one thing, he could never see her again. He was married now. He had stardom and a picture perfect life he thought that he always wanted. The part of him that wanted quiet afternoons at home and wild nights in bed with Taylor had to die. Deep down, he knew that he’d never get over her.
“They about to start the finale.” Josh laughed as he climbed into the backseat. “You good, Uce?” Jon asked. Joe was so deep in thought that he hadn’t even noticed them getting into the car. “No.” he stated simply. Future’s ‘Fuck Up Some Commas’ blared loudly over Josh’s phone. “Damn, should’ve stayed. Haze is on main pole, Uce.” Josh mumbled. Joe started the car and drove away from her. The grand finale for this location was a grand finale for Taylor as well. She would only be back to visit, never perform. She had a new life filled with new adventures and challenges. She knew that she had to let Haze go. Taylor decided in real time that she would dance like it was her last because it was. Whatever she had left, needed to be left on the pole.
Taylor could see the dollars hanging in the air as she twirled like her life depended on it. For one last night, the pole would be her conduit. The emotion she conveyed? Happiness. A giggle escaped her as she dropped down halfway. Haze and Blanca spun horizontally in opposition to each other, their movements fluid like water. “You are crazy, OG. I love it!” Blanca smiled.
“Damn, Haze is going off!” Josh laughed. “Lemme see.” Jon asked. “My weak ass core could never.” Jon grumbled. “Mine either.” Josh added. Joe wanted to look as they were stuck in traffic, but he kept his eyes forward.
“It’s all you Baby girl. You got this.” Taylor smiled as she dismounted into split before hyping Blanca up. Now it was Taylor’s turn to rain dollars down on Blanca. Taylor took a quick second to unstrapped her lucite pleasers for the final time and placed them at the front of the stage.
“Did we just watch a retirement announcement?” Josh asked. “Huh?” Joe asked, his eyes shooting over to the phone. Joe watched Taylor take a bow and walk off the stage. “Damn. It’s like when Jordan retired.” Jon laughed. “She should be set to take them writing classes after the amount I dropped on her tonight.” Joe grumbled. “Don’t be salty cuz she told you to fuck off.” Josh teased. “I asked her if she wanted a condo in South Beach and she said no. I wanted to take her away from a the life of a stripper and she threw that shit in my fuckin face. So fuck her and her big ass booty.” Joe groaned. “You married now. Go home and have sex with wifey cuz I know Taylor got you all riled up.” Jon shrugged as Joe pulled into the driveway. “Nah, I’m good. She grinding on me and had her titties in my face and I” “And boom goes the dynamite?” Jon asked. Joe hung his head to muffle an embarrassed laugh. “Goddamn, Uce. No wonder you left in such a hurry.” Josh teased. “Do yourself a favor and stay away from her.” Jon warned.
Joe drove around to clear his mind before heading home. Taylor had worked her way into his nervous system. Every thought of her sparked a tingling between his thighs. Visions of their passionate lovemaking replayed in his mind. She was special. One of a kind. And he fumbled it for some bullshit optics. Nothing left to do but to go home to Eliza. She was the second woman to make a home for him. He wouldn’t fumble this one. He headed immediately to the shower. He drenched himself in cold water before even taking his boxers off. The lines between cheating and being faithful had been blurred in a dimly lit booth at Sammie’s Hideaway. Once Joe felt clean, he threw on some shorts and climbed into bed with Eliza. She felt his warmth and snuggled into him. Joe’s guilt kept him awake until he saw the daylight peeking through the curtains.
Taylor yawned loudly as she rolled out of bed, it was 2pm. She slid her feet into her slides and grabbed her phone, she could hear Tara out in the kitchen. “Last night was a movie!” Tara laughed as she unbagged lunch, lemon pepper wings & fried rice. “It was insane. Glad it’s done. It was fun even though that big head man tried to stop my shine. I hope she smelled my pussy all over him!” Taylor grumbled as she opened up IG. On her FYP, she spotted the cover of her book. She appreciated all of her fans. She clicked on the reel and the name made her mouth drop @ElizaAnoai.
“Hey guys, I absolutely love this book. It’s called Infinite Night by Anna T. Brown. It’s got horror, there are some funny parts and a little dark romance. I haven’t finished reading Book 1 and I just preordered book 2. Anna, girl you did the damn thing with this one here. The main male character Arcane OMG…if you’re looking for a lead for the movie, I’d like to nominate my husband. @RomanReigns would be perfect. Y’all, go read this book, it’s so good!”
“I know you fuckin’ lyin!” Taylor blurted out. Her fork clanking loudly against the table. “Bitch what?! Sounds like somebody’s giving love to the book.” Tara shrugged. “Yeah, his fuckin’ wife!” Taylor groaned as she showed Tara the reel. “She a fan. She a fan. She a fan. Wonder if she knows where her husband was last night. He wouldn’t be so perfect if she knew the truth. How much did you make off him alone?” Tara laughed. “Like $45K, $55K overall. Not bad for a night’s work.” Taylor yawned. “Nice. Listen, I had no idea that he was going to be there. I haven’t seen him since you left. I’m glad that you didn’t let him ruin your good time. You ran his pockets…as you should! And Blanca has a major girl crush. She’s been texting me for the past hour about you. She wants you to train her. Might not be a bad idea, that girl is terrified of the top of that pole. Meanwhile…you’ve never been afraid of going up top. There might still be shoe prints on the ceiling. That shit was so epic. You’ve been fearless since you were 17. But I’m proud that you got out. My little cousin is writing books and going on TV. Geneva needs to introduce you to Michael B. Jordan. No…Pablo Schreiber. I’d climb that man’s pole and…whew lawd.” Tara fanned herself. “Bounce on that shit…dance! Bounce on that shit, NO HANDS!” Taylor sang as they both danced. “I’m feeling…petty. Joe said something that made me feel a way.” Taylor shrugged. “What he say?” Tara snarled. “He said that I was stuck shakin’ for dollars. And lookie here…wifey’s reading my book and nominating him to be my main character that was actually based on Khal Drogo. I didn’t have a face claim, it was mostly personality based. I’ll be pissed if he auditions and they want to cast him, cuz fuck him! Having said that…it’s still until his tattoos fade but I’d hate myself afterwards. I’m finna post the bag.” Taylor laughed. “Yess…do it!” Tara smiled.
Joe had just finished his workout and was about to post a video on his IG when he heard Eliza squeal from the treadmill. “What’s wrong?” he asked. “My favorite author liked my post about her book! We’re practically besties now!” she squealed. He knew that she was reading some new supernatural romance book that was popular. He saw the book in the possession of many of the women on the roster. “Oh, that’s cool. I thought it was something important.” he laughed. “It is important! I recommended you for the lead cuz there’s talk of a movie! Can’t wrestle forever.” she smiled. “Me? An actor? Nah.” he laughed. “I’m serious, babe. You’d be so handsome doing shit out in the woods. He’s a little crazy but I think you could pull it off. I think…you should read the book. You might like it. It might give us…something to recreate.” she smiled. “You know I’m not a book guy. Is there an audiobook?” Joe asked, he wasn’t listening to that either. “Ooh, I should reach out to her to ask about the audiobook. You could read that. You have a lovely voice, darling.” she smiled. Joe walked away and finally posted his workout video. He clicked on the notification that Eliza had tagged him in a post. Before he clicked on the author’s name, he decided to switch over to his burner and check out the pics from last night. He didn’t think that stripclub patrons and wrestling fans overlapped much but stranger things had happened. He laid low all night and tried to avoid the cameras, but he did walk in with a Louis duffle bag that he didn’t leave with. Not his brightest moment, but they had been working so hard that they all deserved a fun night out.
Joe noticed that his burner had been tagged. Not even Eliza knew about his burner. He saw the LV bag stuffed full of money, not all of it from him but he knew exactly who posted it. His phone tumbled to the floor as he read the caption. “You good, babe?” Eliza called out. “Yep, I’m gonna go jump in the shower before this phone call.” he smiled as he kissed her sweaty forehead and left the garage. He had erased her number but she was still logged in on IG so he could call her there. He pressed send and waited.
Taylor and Tara moved to the couch to watch a movie. Her phone vibrated in her lap. "Uh oh…I might be in trouble. Think he wants to spank me? He was super into that.” Taylor laughed as she rejected the call. They had nothing to talk about. He knew Haze and Haze was gone.

“I got a compliment on the watch.” Lewis smiled as he cozied back up to Taylor. “As you should! I know what my man likes. And per usual, you body every single look. I gotta stay on my toes, ol model ass.” she laughed as she kissed him. “Don’t shortchange yourself, babe. My lady throws fits quite often.” He smiled.
“I think I got bit by the watch bug. There was this guy in the men’s room that had on this $300K 50th Anniversary Audemars Piguet watch. It was gorgeous.” Joe smiled as he sat back down. “$300K for a watch? Joe, we can’t afford that, especially with the baby coming.” Eliza said. “I know. It’s something to aspire to. Roman Reigns is gonna make us rich.” he smiled, a short wave of nausea washing over him. Just saying that to anyone other than Anna felt so wrong. “You good?” Eliza asked as Joe sipped his water. “Yeah, I think that spicy lamb is starting to fight back.” he laughed, downing the rest of his water. While he was away, the server brought the check. He paid and they left.
“Bout time y’all got together.” Taylor laughed as she sat down to talk with Geneva and her new man, Carmelo Anthony. “You know I ain’t think he was serious.” Geneva laughed. “Thank you for staying on her, A.T. Speaking of staying on someone, I know that Lewis be wearin’ yo ass out!” Carmelo teased. “Shut up Carmelo. He’s talking expensive watches with my Dad and brothers.” Taylor smiled. He got the hint and excused himself, he loved talking about expensive watches. “Y’all are cute together. I told you Melo was a good dude.” Taylor teased. “I know, I should’ve believed you. Let’s hope he stays around long enough to be my date for the wedding.” Geneva laughed. “Kinda like how I told you about Lewis?” Geneva added. Taylor remembered their ”first” meeting.
“I have this friend you should meet.” Geneva said as she sat drinking tea and this trendy teahouse Lewis had dragged her to in Soho. He always had her on some random New York adventure whenever he was in town. “She fine?” he asked. “Yep!” Geneva smiled. “What does she do for a living?” he asked. He had been single for a while and missed the company of a woman. “She’s a writer.” Geneva smiled as she sipped her Moroccan Mint tea. She knew how Lewis always dated party girls but was really a relax at home type guy. Taylor could party but was really a homebody at her core. “Ooh. Let me guess, a client of yours?” he asked. “Yes. But not just any client…thee client. She just submitted a final manuscript that’s going to be a Times Best Seller. I feel it in my spirit.” Geneva laughed. “I dunno.” He smiled. He hadn’t had much luck recently with blind dates. “She’s got a fat ass. You gotta stop dating them string beans.” Geneva added. “You honestly had me at ‘She’s a writer’. If she’s up for it, I’d love to meet her while I’m here.” Lewis smiled. Now came the hard part, talking Taylor into it.
“What part of I’m done with men didn’t you understand?” Taylor sighed sadly. “Girl, you can’t be serious! This man is literally so damn fine.” Geneva smiled. “I’m just so…hurt.” Taylor sighed. “I know. He fucked you over and then married someone else not even a year later. It’s not fair but it happened. You gotta get over it, sis. You deserve your own happy ending. Not saying that it’s with him but you owe it to yourself to at least see.” Geneva sighed. “How old is he?” Taylor laughed. “He’s older but only by like 3 or 4 years.” Geneva shrugged as they sat in Taylor’s living room putting the final touches on this trip to Morocco in a few weeks. “You got a picture?” She asked. “I do but not for you. I want you to go into this with an open mind, more importantly…an open heart. He’s a really sweet guy.” Geneva smiled. “So, you date him!” Taylor sighed as her and her glass of wine finally sat down on the couch. “He’s not my type. He’s far too pretty and refined. I like my men with a jagged edge here and there. You on the other hand…like pretty boys. Oh…and he’s just a little bit crazy, but in a good way. Adrenaline junkie. Man would base jump off the Empire State Building if they let him! Want me to see if he’s free tomorrow? He’s got money AND tats on his hands…I know how you like that shit…freak.” Geneva asked, shooting Lewis a text before her stubborn best friend could object.
Taylor walked into the tea house, she was looking for a man in a brown sweater. Lewis spotted her the moment she walked in, the sway of her hips was unforgettable. Lewis stood up and waved. Taylor’s stomach dropped as she made her way across the room. They had met in her former life, he had an infectious laugh and loved pancakes. “Haze, pleasure to see you again.” He smiled.
“He better! Girl, why Tara being messy and told Josh about my engagement?” Taylor laughed. “Tara!” Geneva gasped before laughing loudly. “What? I know that he can’t wait to run back and tell Dumbo and I need to hear about him sliding down the goddamn wall and clutching his chest!” Tara said. “That’s very Arcane coded. It does sound like he wants to have his cake and eat it too.” Geneva laughed. “Well, this cake gets eaten by someone else now.” Taylor smiled as she noticed her fiancé watching her from across the room. He licked his lips and smiled before going back to his conversation. “Oh, absolutely devoured. Even Melo noted how he looks at you when you’re talking.” Geneva teased. “Ohmigod. Like…that shit is so sexy. A fine man with money looks at me like that…my gay ass is having as many babies as he wants!” Tara added.
“I think that went well. Don’t you?” Lewis yawned as he followed Taylor onto the elevator. “You got yourself a fine ass fiancé and my dad & brothers didn’t throw you into the bay. It was a success.” she laughed as she pressed the button to take them to the presidential suite. “And I got to meet Carmelo Anthony. That was so sick! He wants me to be on his podcast.” Lewis smiled. “I love that. Melo’s my guy. Nobody ever asks me to be on their podcast.” she laughed as they walked down the hallway to their suite. “No, they want your pretty little face on their TV shows though.” Lewis teased as he tapped his phone against the door to unlock it. “Most podcasts have video elements to them now. You’re always on someone’s screen in colorful, cozy sweaters.” She laughed. “I’m still looking for my pink Moschino cardigan.” He teased. “You have a pink Moschino cardigan? Hmm, sounds cute.” She laughed. It was in her closet and she wore it to brunch with Blanca last week.
Taylor kicked off her gold heels, dropping her back to being shorter than him. “Hey cutie.” Lewis smiled as he unzipped her dress. “I’ll have to sell my house and move to London.” She laughed as she shimmied out of the dress. “How else are you going to live in my race suit with me? Keep the house. We can split time between there and Colorado when we’re in the states.” He smiled, stepping back to admire the sight of his fiancé. “We’ve got plenty of time to figure out logistics. Now…I need you bent over out on that balcony. It’s a full moon out and I wanna see your diamond sparkle in the moonlight.” He laughed, his hands caressing her ass. “Can I take this makeup off first?” Taylor pleaded. “Alright, fine. You get 5 minutes.” He laughed, gesturing to the growing bulge in his pants. She smiled and walked away slowly, her hips swaying the way he sang about. He followed her into the bathroom. “Checking to make sure I’m not stalling?” she laughed. “Nope. Gotta make sure this good black don’t crack.” he teased as he did his nighttime face routine that she had gotten him into. “Oh yeah, gotta protect that beautiful face from all the heat it's constantly bombarded with.” Taylor laughed as she cradled his face in her hands. “After you say ‘I do’, I’m going to start to let myself go.” he laughed. “Remember that goes both ways.” she teased. “Nuh uh. There’s hella rich, fat guys with hot wives.” he teased as he used some of her serum. “And my husband won’t be one of them. My love, you can barely sit still long enough to finish the course at Spa! You won’t sit still long enough to get thick.” Taylor laughed as she applied her night time moisturizer.
Taylor pulled Lewis towards the bedroom. “True, true.” Lewis laughed as she pushed him down into the rose petals. She pulled his boxers down his legs and tossed them to the floor. Her hands wrapped around his stiff flesh, bringing its perfect mushroom tip to her lips. Taylor wrapped her lips around it, slowly easing him into her mouth. She looked up at him as he touched the back of her throat. “I know I just bought you a car. You want another one?” He laughed. “Hmmm.” Her mouth vibrated around him. “Fuccckkk, Taylor.” Lewis moaned as her head bobbed up and down at a torturous pace. She loved watching him unravel just as much as she loved to see him standing on the podium drinking champagne. Taylor slowly eased her full lips up to the top, her hands continuing to work on his veiny shaft. “Damn, girl. You know what I like.” He breathed, his climax pulsing in his veins. “I do. Sir Lewis likes it good and sloppy.” Taylor teased as she covered the tip in kitten licks.
“I love you, baby.” Lewis smiled, his mouth dropping in bliss as she drew his orgasm out of him. The feel of his essence spilling down her throat turned Taylor on more than she thought it would. The throbbing between her thighs was deafening as she swallowed his last drop. “That was incredible, darling. You’re the best.” He sighed, a love drunk smile on his face. Taylor knew that she could now ask Lewis for anything and he’d give it to her. She did it with Joe all the time. Lewis already spoiled her so there was nothing to ask for. Taylor crawled up the bed, resting her head on his shoulder.
“Thank you for such a fun night, babe. I don’t know how the hell you got my dad to keep his mouth shut but you did it.” Taylor laughed as Lewis grabbed her hand to admire the ring. “I went to see him, to ask for his blessing. I bought him Gucci sunglasses. I got Mom a Birkin. We had dinner, and I asked both of them for their blessing. Obviously, they said yes. I spent the night and then I had to fly home. You were out in Cali. I wanted to come see you so badly but Daddy had to go to work. It was Belgian race week.” He laughed. “I know. Is that why you finished third?” She teased. “Absolutely, but it was worth it.” Lewis laughed, his hand dancing up her hip. “It’s so pretty, I don’t want to take it off.” She smiled as she looked at her engagement ring again. “Don’t take it off yet. There’s something I need to see…you wearing nothing but the ring.” He smiled, his hand unhooking her bra. He scattered hungry kisses across her breasts as his hands pushed her panties down her legs.
“Aren’t you tired, my love?” Taylor laughed before a moan escaped her. “You know I have to return the favor.” Lewis growled before wrapping his lips around her nipple. Her moans were music to his ears, so he continued to kiss & lick his way across her brown skin. “Mmm, I love how wet you get from giving me head.” He laughed as he pressed kisses into her inner thighs. “Only happens when I’m in love.” Taylor laughed. Lewis pushed her thighs apart further as his tongue slid across her tender bud. A low moan burst from her mouth. “Lucky me.” He laughed before he made it his sacred mission to unravel her. Taylor’s moans and pants were music to his ears while he conjured up her orgasm with his tongue and fingers. The room started to spin as the knot in her core spread across her body. “Give it to me, stop fighting it, love.” He whispered darkly as he curled his fingers into her spot. She exploded immediately, her sweet nectar threatening to drown him. “OHMIGOD!” Taylor screamed as her soul tried to flee her body.
“Good girl.” He laughed as he laid on the pillow next to her. A bliss drunk smile formed on her face as she crushed her lips to his. “You don’t want to sleep in your wet spot, do you?” Lewis laughed as he went to grab a towel from the bathroom.
“Be safe.” Taylor grumbled as she felt Lewis rolling out of bed. “It’s raining, I’m just going to the hotel gym.” He said as he kissed her forehead. “I said what I said. Hurry back to me.” She laughed before drifting back to sleep. Taylor had gotten into running with him but usually bailed after a few miles because she got annoyed by how much her boobs bounced despite wearing a high impact sports bra. “I’m just gonna bust out a light 6 or 7 kilometers. Then we can order breakfast.” he spoke as he grabbed his airpods and closed the door behind him.
“I’m gonna go check the gym out. If you order breakfast, get me something. I can heat it up.” Joe yawned as he stretched and shoved his feet into his Nikes. “Ok. Have fun.” Eliza said as she scrolled on her phone. Joe grabbed his earbuds and closed the door behind him. He swiped his card to get into the gym and it was empty aside from a small guy on the treadmill. There was generic music playing over the speakers. Joe really needed to work on his cardio more, he noticed himself getting tired sooner in longer matches. Probably had something to do with the tactical vest he wore. The man on the treadmill looked up and smiled. They had met briefly before, in the men’s room at the restaurant.
“We gotta stop meeting like this.” Joe laughed. “I know, how did you and the wife enjoy the restaurant?” Lewis asked as he transitioned into his cooldown. “It was really good. I had the chicken risotto, she had the chicken tagine and we shared the spicy lamb.” Joe smiled. “I had the vegetarian tagine, my lady had the chicken tagine.” Lewis said. “There’s no way you’ve got abs like that from eating vegetables.” Joe teased. “I found that meat made me bulky. Can’t fit into my car if I’m too big.” Lewis laughed. “What kind of cars aren’t you fitting into, man?” Joe laughed. Lewis remembered that he was in the States and F1 wasn’t big here yet. “I’m a F1 driver. The cockpit isn’t that big and me being too big slows me down.” Lewis explained. “No shit? Wow. You any good?” Joe asked. “I’m very, very good. We’re doing races in Miami and Vegas this year. You should come check it out. I’d love to stay and chat but my fiancé is waiting for part two of my workout.” Lewis winked. “Nice. What’s your name? I’m going to Google you.” Joe laughed. “Of course. Where are my manners? Lewis Hamilton. And you are?” He asked, extending his hand for a quick handshake. Lewis knew exactly who he was. Taylor’s ex was someone who had made his quest for Taylor’s heart harder than it needed to be. “Joe Anoa’i. Nice to meet you. No fancy watch today?” Joe smiled as he shook his hand. For a man his size, his grip was incredibly strong. “I have a Richard Mille for everyday wear but it doesn’t track my run.” Lewis smiled as he wiped his sweat from the machine.
“Sounds like you just called me broke.” Joe joked. “Nah bruv, not at all. But…if the shoe fits.” Lewis laughed. “I see how it is.” Joe laughed. “Enjoy your workout man.” Lewis smiled as he walked away. He couldn’t wait to tell Taylor about the interesting guest he met in the gym. Lewis found Taylor, laying in bed, scrolling on Instagram. She tossed the sheet back when she heard the door open, she was naked. “How was your run?” She spoke. “Interesting. I’ll tell ya about it later. It’s not important right now.” He laughed as he kicked off his shoes and went into the bathroom. “Oh…ok.” She grumbled as she went back to her scrolling. She felt the bed shift under his weight before feeling his lips kissing up her legs. “I love when you’re naked in bed waiting for me.” Lewis growled before his hand smacked her ass. “As the future Mrs. Lewis Hamilton, it’s my job to know what you like.” She laughed as she enjoyed the feel of his lips on her skin. His hands gripped her waist as his lips kissed a trail up her spine. Lewis pulled her into a slight arch so that he could push into her warmth. “Mmmm god.” She whimpered softly as he stretched her walls to fit him.
Taylor moaned softly as he hit her deepest spot with ease. “My favorite spot.” Lewis laughed as she whimpered softly, her hands grabbing the sheets. A smile formed on his face as the diamond on her finger caught the sunlight. His hips rolled against her as her walls fluttered around him. “I’m gonna cum!” Taylor groaned into the mattress. “That’s exactly what I want, nothing would make me happier.” He kissed against her cheek as his own orgasm descended on him. Taylor arched into his thrusts. Her orgasmic screams radiated up from the mattress as her orgasm scorched through her. She arched further into him causing him to crash into his own big ending. “Oh my god, baby. Stay right there.” he groaned into her neck as he emptied into her. Taylor sighed contently as they collapsed on the bed together. “Wanna hear something funny?” Lewis spoke as Taylor rested her chin on his chest. “Weird fan encounter down in the gym?” she asked. “Your ex is down there working out. And, I didn’t tell you but the guy who complimented the watch you bought me…that was him too.” Lewis chuckled, she frowned. “Joe?! Ugh, he can eat a bag of dicks!” Taylor sighed.
While Joe sat on the exercise bike, he did a quick Google of Lewis Hamilton. “Knighted by Prince Charles? No shit. Most wins in F1 history, dope. I should’ve asked for a picture.” he laughed to himself. ”Hmm…this F1 shit looks like some luxurious shit. I need to check that out.” Joe sighed as he shoved his phone back into his pocket. He finished his workout just as Eliza texted him that breakfast had arrived.
“What are mom & dad doing today?” Lewis asked as they waited for the elevator. “I booked them a vegan cooking class.” She smiled. “Oh? That sounds like a gift for me.” He laughed. “Kinda. Dad wants to make sure his son-in-law feels welcome at the cookout. And he saw this recipe for cauliflower steaks and grilled watermelon…too many things that he wants to perfect for your next visit. Mom wants to make you vegan Mac and cheese so you better act surprised!” Taylor laughed. “You make an amazing vegan Mac and cheese. Teach her your recipe.” Lewis laughed as he followed her onto the elevator. “I will. She wants to master vegan soul food simply because she loves to cook different kinds of foods. Now she has a reason to branch out into vegan foods.” Taylor smiled, kissing his lips as they got to the first floor.
“Can you zip my dress?” Eliza asked her husband. “Of course. I’d much rather see you coming out of it.” Joe laughed as he zipped her dress and smacked her booty before walking away. “We better get going. Before it gets too crowded.” Joe smiled as he closed the door behind them. As they sat in traffic, his eyes fell on the building that housed the condo he was looking at for Anna. The way they ended still hurt and he still thought about her daily. According to Eliza, Anna T. Brown was off in the world gathering inspiration for Book 3. Joe knew that she was laid up with some nigga who couldn’t possibly be fucking her like Joe fucked her. She’d be crazy to think that she could find someone better than him.
“You look so sexy in purple.” Lewis growled lowly as he watched Taylor across the backseat. “Thank you, baby. I love when you wear purple. Although, I love you in every color.” Taylor smiled as she blew him a kiss across the backseat. He let it hit him and fell out dramatically, Taylor rolled her eyes. “Nervous? I know I am.” he asked. “You drive in front of thousands of people. You’ve been to The Met Gala and walked in Fashion Weeks...Walking a little red carpet at Art Basel makes you nervous?” she teased. “I know, but the focus wasn’t always on me.” he sighed, his anxiety getting to him. Lewis was an introvert by default. “This is light work. Besides, you aren’t alone.” She smiled as the car came to a stop. “Yeah, they’re definitely gonna be looking at you, my lovely fiancé.” he smiled as the driver came to open the door for him. “Let’s do this.” he smiled, stealing a quick kiss before climbing out and grabbing her hand. “This is my first red carpet.” Taylor admitted as they walked along. “Really? You’ll kill it. I mean…you used to swing from a pole. I know you aren’t nervous.” he laughed. “Actually, I am a little bit. I have clothes on!” she laughed. “And it’s a goddamn shame.” Lewis added as they stood in line to check in.
“I wanna get to the point where we are walking red carpets together.” Joe smiled as they scanned their passes to get in. “We will, baby.” Eliza smiled as she leaned up to kiss him. “I know.” he smiled. The young man at the door handed them a map of the hall they were in and sent them on their way. Joe snapped Eliza’s picture under a flowered archway, she was glowing as she rubbed her bump. Regardless of how boring she could be, Eliza was going to make a great mother. Joe was thankful because the women he had been with were both very nurturing. This was a really cool space and Anna would absolutely love it. Joe pulled up his burner and simply recommended it to her if she was ever in Miami at that time of year.
Taylor’s phone vibrated in Lewis’ pants pocket. “Ooh, somebody’s important.” He teased as he handed it to her. She saw that it was an IG notification and not a text from Tara or Geneva and handed it back to him. “It’s not important. Today, my world revolves around my handsome man in this purple.” Taylor smiled as she leaned in for a kiss. One of the photographers noticed Anna and called her name. “I think this is the perfect time to tell you that…I didn’t get an invite.” Lewis winked as he nudged her into the spotlight. The look of shock at that revelation gave Taylor’s skin a playful glow. After a few photos and a quick interview, Taylor made her way back to Lewis. “You are so in your element. Not gonna lie, Miami looks good on you.” He laughed. “Me living in Miami was a one and done deal. Met the man who would eventually become my fiancé so it wasn’t all bad. Had a wrestler offer to buy me a condo here. It gives me a weird superpower. I must use this ass for good. I need to find a way to shake you into that 8th world championship.” She laughed.
“We should get a nice piece of art for the sitting room. Not from here but from a gallery back home.” Eliza smiled as she read the placard in front of a mixed media piece of Aaliyah. “This is crazy. It’s made of broken CDs. We could have something special commissioned.” Joe grumbled. “Look at you using fancy art words. Commissioned. My baby’s so smart.” She beamed. His limited art knowledge could be attributed to the many times Taylor dragged him out to get some culture. “Yeah, I know a little something.” He smiled. “Ooh, there’s a Bob Marley mural that I need to see before some rich person buys it.” Eliza laughed as she scanned the space, spotting the mural across the room. She pointed to it and started to walk off until she saw her favorite author standing by the bar. “I’ll catch up.” Eliza said before bolting off. Joe walked over to the mural, immediately spotting a guy he’d been running into all over Miami; Lewis Hamilton. “Dude, we gotta stop meeting like this.” Joe laughed.
“Excuse me. Are you Anna T. Brown, the author?” a voice spoke. Taylor turned around to see Joe’s wife. “I am. And you are?” Taylor smiled. Eliza’s dress didn’t hug her growing belly but it didn’t hide it either. “My name is Eliza. I’m a huge fan of your work.” she smiled as she extended her hand. “Oh yes, I think you recommended your husband for the role of Arcane in the film. Pleasure to meet you.” Taylor smiled as she shook Eliza’s hand. Eliza’s eyes immediately shot to the massive ring on her left finger. The diamond was tastefully massive and crystal clear. “Wow, congratulations. It’s beautiful.” Eliza smiled. “No, congratulations to you. Babies are such blessings.” Taylor smiled. She was genuinely happy for Joe, he always talked about having a family. “It’s my first, I’m nervous yet excited.” Eliza smiled. “Understandable.” Taylor smiled. “I’ve taken up enough of your time. I just wanted to come say hello.” Eliza said. “I appreciate all the love you have for my work. I’m heading this way, let’s walk together.” Taylor smiled as she grabbed the drinks. “Is your husband here?” Taylor asked. “Yeah, he’s over by the Bob Marley mural. It’s the one thing I wanted to see in this hall.” Eliza smiled. “My parents would love that. I’m sure my man is over there somewhere. He was excited about the Aaliyah CD canvas.” Taylor smiled.
“What watch is this?” Joe asked. “Audemars Royal Oak.” Lewis smiled. “Is this a gift from your fiancé too?” Joe asked. “No, but I did buy her one to match.” Lewis smiled as he spotted Taylor walking towards them. She was the prettiest piece of art in the whole room. “Good shit. I need to get matching watches for me and my lady. That’s a boss move.” Joe sighed.
“There’s my hubby. Joe!” Eliza almost yelled, waving her hands in the air. They were walking under a speaker so Joe didn’t hear her. “I know we both got men but my man is standing with a total cutie. Maybe it’s just the pregnancy hormones talking.” Eliza sighed. “That’s…my fiancé.” Taylor smiled. “Girl! Sorry. He is such a cutie! And by the looks of this ring & watch combo…he’s loaded. I love that for you.” Eliza laughed. Joe watched Lewis’ eyes light up as he smiled at someone approaching from behind him. “The fiancé.” Joe thought. From his periphery, a drink appeared. “Thanks darling.” Lewis smiled, taking the drink. Joe turned around for a better look. His stomach dropped to his feet and his heart shattered into a million tiny pieces. “My fiancé, my Queen, Anna.” Lewis smiled as he pulled her to his side.

Taylor found Lewis down in the garage with Joe and Eliza. He was showing them the steering wheel that he helped to design for the team. Taylor loved hearing him talk about engineering and had even learned a few things about what all those buttons did. A smile tugged at his lips as he smelled her fragrance looming in the air. “Darling, is that the bottle Creed sent you to test?” Lewis asked without looking up. “You don’t like it?” Taylor sighed. “You smell divine.” he smiled, turning all of his focus to her. “Thank you, baby. What’s this pink switch?” Taylor asked. “Brake balance.” Lewis smiled. He loved when she asked questions about the car. “I thought that was on the left side.” Taylor pouted. “That’s the brake migration switch.” He smiled. “So you don’t just break like a normal car?” Eliza asked. “Yes and no. It’s a whole sequence that involves the pedals and these paddles on the back.” Lewis explained, showing her the shifting paddles. “Can I hold it?” Eliza asked. “Sure.” Lewis smiled, handing her the wheel. “How many tires do you go through in a race?” Joe asked. Anything to draw Lewis’ attention from Taylor. “That depends on road conditions but usually 2 sets during a race and maybe 2-3 sets during qualifying. Have Taylor take you over to the fan zone, there’s a whole exhibit on the types of tyres we use during the race. That’s kinda her favorite topic.” Lewis smiled. “Oh?” Joe smiled. “Yeah. Tyres are my shit. What time does Mercedes hit the fan stage?” Taylor asked. “I have to head over soon.” he smiled. “So all these tiny little buttons and you wear gloves, must mean that you’re really good with your hands?” Eliza asked. “You’d have to ask her.” Lewis teased to Taylor. “He plays guitar, piano, and video games. Fingers are good and limber.” Taylor whispered to Eliza. “Ohmigod…Lucien? I totally see it.” Eliza giggled.
“How much does one of these cars cost?” Joe asked, trying not to roll his eyes. “This one is $19 million. The Ferraris are around $19 million, too and the most expensive in the paddock is McLaren at $20M.” Lewis spoke. “Shit, I gotta run.” Lewis grumbled as he noticed the time. “Yeah, sure.” Joe shrugged. Lewis pulled Taylor towards the door behind him, Joe’s eyes followed her. “The voodoo you put on him is way worse than the voodoo you put on me! How’s it feel to live rent free in his head?” Lewis teased. “I dunno. I’m too busy spending my nights riding a goat. Go be charming, I’ll be watching.” Taylor smiled, stealing a kiss before he left.
“You think she’s just putting on cuz I’m here?” Joe asked Eliza. “Get over yourself, Joseph. She loves that man down! The feeling is very mutual. Do you see how he watches her when she talks? The way he touches his lips after she kisses them…ugh, God! It’s so hot! When she walked into the garage, fuck us cuz the Taylor show started. You’ve never been that into me.” Eliza laughed. “That shit with her perfume…smooth as shit. I need to take a page from his book, since my lady thinks I’m not into her.” Joe laughed, stealing a kiss. “The ass is real, right?” Eliza asked as they watched Taylor and Lewis holding hands and saying goodbye. “Yep, she’s all real. Recoil like you wouldn’t believe. Wait…we’re not talking about my ex’s fat ass! I wish you would find someone else!” Joe grumbled. “I know what I want. That’s who I want or I don’t want it. It’s whatever, babe. I picked her because I know that’s what you want and I want to watch!” Eliza sighed as Taylor walked back over to them. “Y’all ready to put those passes to good use?” Taylor smiled. “Mmm hmm. Lead the way, baby…Taylor.” Joe smiled nervously. Taylor shrugged it off and led them towards the fan stage.
Joe thought the media day and fan experience was fun and something that the WWE could adopt for their big four events. The fans were crazy and one thing was very clear…they loved Lewis Hamilton. “Babe, this would be kinda cool if we started doing stuff like this for our big shows.” Joe spoke. “That would be dope but we both know Roman Reigns ain’t showing up.” Eliza teased. “I’m with her. I did a little homework on your character and you showing up to a fan event just doesn’t really fit the character.” Taylor added. “It’s called kayfabe, T.” Joe smiled. “Yeah, sure. I know that Joe thinks it’s cool but Roman has to think it’s beneath him. Besides…The Big Dog isn’t the most popular in the IWC. The fans hate because the higher ups see potential in you and want to showcase it. Honestly, their writing sucks and…if I were you…I’d seek to create my own storyline with minimal help from those stuffy, old, unrelatable white men. Roman Reigns could be a perfect heel.” Taylor smiled. “Oh really? Would you like creative liberties?” Joe smiled darkly. “Baby, you can’t afford these creative liberties. Yesterday’s price is NOT today’s price.” Taylor laughed. “So…not $50K?” Joe whispered to Taylor. “Quadruple it as a starting point.” Taylor spoke confidently.
“Let me just say…that shit was mad interesting.” Lewis sighed as he sprawled out in the backseat of the Maybach. “I know, right. It was flirty but also very business-y. Like he was picking my brain about creative direction for his character. He thinks he’s Lucien.” Taylor laughed. “Really? Wow.” Lewis laughed as he turned to face her like he always did when they talked. “Yes. I hate to burst his bubble but even Eliza thinks he’s Arcane. Which he was. I dunno, babe. After this weekend…let’s not hang with the Anoa’is for a while.” Taylor laughed. Lewis nodded in agreement. After changing into comfy clothes and washing their faces, the Hamiltons crawled into bed for a cuddle and nap before the House44 event.
“You want her, you’re going to have to ask. She’s going to tell me to fuck off expeditiously.” Joe sighed as they laid naked in bed. Being around The Hamiltons had made Eliza feral, Joe loved it and hated it at the same time. “Would you be mad if I fucked her and then fucked you later?” Eliza laughed. “No. She’s going to tell you no, though so be prepared for disappointment.” Joe laughed. He knew how Taylor used to operate and she had turned down many threesomes. The invite usually came from couples who frequented the club. She was always only checking for the person she was with. Joe had barked up that tree before with zero success.
“This is the dress you’re wearing?” Lewis asked as Taylor rubbed a shimmery coconut oil onto her damp skin. “You don’t like it? I can pick something else.” She sighed. “I need to see it on to get the full effect.” Lewis winked as he pulled on his black pants. “You need to see me in a black dress? Alright, fine.” Taylor laughed as she shimmied into the curve-hugging dress with a low cut back. “Yeah…I like this. Do you have something special for this perfectly toned back of yours?” He asked. “I’ve got gold and I’ve got silver. I move as Sir Lewis moves so…how do I accessorize, my love?” She asked as she finished her simple makeup. “Well, I have this pearl sample lDior sent for the new collection. But diamonds for My Queen.” He smiled as he showed her something he had designed for her. “Lewis…this is gorgeous. Thank you baby.” Taylor smiled as she turned around for him to put it on her. “You look stunning. I think you should wear the silver shoes.” He gestures towards the silver high heels with the platform. “These? I was thinking of the gold ones.” She spoke. “No, darling. How many times do I have to tell you to wear your heels? I love you in those heels. And later I plan to have them on my shoulders.” Lewis laughed before he stole a kiss and walked away.
Being a F1 wife was still something Taylor had to get used to. She caught heat for not being at every race like other wives, Lewis had her back every time. When Taylor was in the paddock, she was always asked what designer she was wearing and oddly enough she was asked about certain aspects of her husband’s performance. Tonight was no different. The dress was Versace, the necklace & earrings were Dior, the shoes were Alexander McQueen and the watch & bracelet were Eliantte. Her fragrance was an unreleased Creed scent. As Taylor spoke with one of his favorite media members, she felt her husband’s eyes on her. His face wore that dangerous look that always led to them making love all night. “What?” She smiled nervously at him. “You look amazing. Devin, doesn’t she look amazing tonight?” Lewis asked the reporter. “You both look amazing tonight. Thank you for your time.” The young man blushed before they walked away. “You gotta stop looking at me like that!” Taylor teased. “Like what, darling?” He winked, knowing exactly what he was doing.
“I wasn't around for Joe & Taylor but I'm loving Taylor & Lewis.” Melo laughed as he and Geneva watched The Hamiltons work the room. “We met at the end of them. The fallout was so bad. My girl was so depressed. All she did was work and stay in her apartment. I knew that she was a stripper but I didn't know she had already met Lewis. She was not coming to work dressed like the baddie that we both know that she is. I actually had to convince her to meet Lewis for coffee.” Geneva laughed. “Really? He's mad cool. And he loves her real bad! I thought I was bad when it came to you…then I met him and got him talking about her. He taught me that I gotta be more obsessed with my lady.” Melo laughed. “Yeah, you do!” Geneva laughed, her smile fading as she spotted Joe & Eliza. Taylor & Geneva had talked about the whole Joe thing after Miami. Geneva never really met Joe but hated him for how he treated her friend. Taylor’s motto came from the Book of Beyoncé, “The Best Revenge is your paper.” Geneva could relate to that.
“Taylor, you look amazing. Drop the gym routine cuz the body is bodying! OMG your back is crazy! And your shoulders.” Eliza smiled. “Thanks. I still use the pole to train my core and shoulders. My protégé Blanca teaches a class down in Atlanta. I’ll send you the info.” Taylor smiled. Joe choked on his drink a little. “Bruv, you ok? Don’t die at my event.” Lewis laughed. “Yeah, I’m good. Drink is a little strong. I thought it was non-alcoholic.” Joe grumbled, trying to save the moment. “Mango Habanero is still mango habanero, tequila or not.” Taylor laughed. “Non-alcoholic? For real?” Eliza asked. “Mmm hmm. I just launched a new alcoholic spirits company. I like to enjoy a cocktail or two after a hard race but don’t want to be under the influence all the time. I’ll be right back.” Lewis shrugged as he kissed Taylor’s hand and walked away. Taylor couldn’t believe that he left her alone in the lion's den.
“You really look great, Anna.” Joe smiled, his fingertips tracing along her arm. “Thanks. Hands off the merchandise. Sir Hamilton’s got shooters in the streets.” She laughed as she spotted Geneva making a beeline in her direction. “She’s top shotta.” Taylor laughed as she gestured to her best friend. “Girl, I been looking all over for you!” Geneva smiled, hugging her friend and assessing the situation. “LH had me in peak Wifey mode. And now he’s…off talking to Melo. Hmm.” Taylor laughed. Joe cleared his throat. “Oh…my manners. This is Joe and his wife Eliza.” Taylor spoke. “Damn, you pretty too. I love women with hazel eyes.” Eliza smiled. “Thanks…had’em since birth.” Geneva said. “Geneva, the home girl that always gets mentioned in the acknowledgments? Nice to finally put a face with the name.” Joe smiled. Based off her frown, Geneva knew Joe well. “Yeah, that’s me. I’m also her agent. AT, there’s someone I want you to meet. Excuse us.” Geneva said as she pulled Taylor away with a smile.
“Ok…here me out, babe.” Eliza said. “Fuck no.” Joe groaned. “I just wanna be with a big booty black girl and a big booty Latina at the same time! Let me be like Future and fuck two bad bitches at the same damn time!!” Eliza pouted. “I will take you over to the Bunny Ranch. I know they got that there.” Joe spoke. Every man loved the thought of having a girl who loved girls but this shit was stressing Joe out because Eliza had a thing for his ex. “We can discuss this later. Let’s enjoy tonight.” She smiled, pulling him over to the dance floor.
“Sis, they are trying to fuck on you!” Geneva said. “I’m well aware, sis. It used to happen all the time when I stripped. The signs are all there. What I can tell you is that this was her idea. He’s never gonna say no to anything involving me but he’s suppressing his true feelings for me so it doesn’t tip her off that he still wants me. I’m willing to bet that she doesn’t know about Tara’s porch.” Taylor grumbled, a smile forming on her face as she spotted Lewis chatting with Carmelo. They were having the same conversation. “She brought that to my attention a while ago. Now…as much as I want to say that I didn’t bring them to Vegas for the flex of it all…I couldn’t help it. He makes me want to be petty cuz…you got a whole wife and baby at home and you stuck on the past. My wife is my wife, not for sharing. She’s not for you and your wife to play with. She’s fire but dawg...let that shit go, fam. It’s finished.” Lewis laughed. “Wow. Remind me to never get on your bad side. Does Taylor know that her husband is a petty king?” Melo laughed. “Yep, she knows and she loves it. Why you think we’re so perfect together?” Lewis laughed.
Sunday
“Go celebrate with your man.” Geneva smiled as she hugged a crying Taylor. Lewis had finished second while his teammate George finished first. “How’s my makeup? He’s gonna laugh at me if it’s messed up.” Taylor laughed. “You look beautiful, Tay. We will catch up with you later.” Melo smiled as he hugged Taylor and sent her down to her husband. “Taylor? Can I talk to you for a minute?” Joe spoke as Taylor had started down the paddock club stairs. “Hey. I didn’t think y’all had stuck around. Where’s E?” Taylor asked. “She’s not feeling well.” Joe groaned. “She’s not pregnant again is she? We both know that you don’t like wrapping it up. And Eliza is a fan of a creampie.” Taylor laughed. Joe’s eyes widened, they were not ready for another baby. “Fuck. I’m not mentally prepared for a pregnant Eliza. She was a fuckin menace. Tell Lewis congratulations and thank you for the invite this weekend. And thank you for…for being you. You’re amazing. I’m so proud of you.” Joe smiled. “Thanks. I’m proud of you too. Go check on wifey, tell her I said hello. Glad you enjoyed your first F1 experience. Make sure E gets a swag bag, they’re really nice.” Taylor smiled. “I will. Listen, I get this dumbass urge to apologize to you whenever I see you. I’ve known for years how badly I fucked up with us. Lewis is more perfect for you than I could ever be and I’m glad that you let him in.” He sighed, a feeling of sadness washing over him. He had come to the realization that he was never truly getting over Anna.
“When we were together…we were perfect for each other, but we’re not those people anymore and that’s ok. You’re living your dream and shit…I’m living mine. I look at it as this is how it was supposed to work out. And that’s ok. You’ve got a cute, bisexual wife that is obsessed with you. I’ve got a cute, rich husband that gives me the world. I’m as crazy about him as Eliza is about you. He’s my lighthouse in the storm, my safe harbor…my home. And he’s gonna pout if he looks down from the podium and doesn't see me there.” Taylor laughed as she hugged Joe. “Go be wifey. I’m sure we’ll cross paths again at some point. Maybe the Miami Grand Prix. I’m kinda hooked on this now. I’m lowkey obsessed with the engineering aspect of it all. LH recommended a book that is waiting for me at home.” Joe smiled. “LH? Y’all are boys now?” She laughed. “If our wives are cordial, we might as well be too.” Joe shrugged. “Love the growth. I don’t know how I’d feel if my wife wanted to bump coochies with my ex while I cucked in the corner but that’s me.” She giggled. His eyes widened in shock. “Why would I sit on the sidelines? I’m in there running plays. I’ll tell her that you respectfully declined.” Joe spoke. Taylor nodded and walked down the stairs.
She got out just as Lewis was being announced as the 2nd place finisher. He always looked so cute in the Pirelli hats they wore on the podium. As she watched the Top 3 spray champagne all over each other, she thought about how as a little girl she dreamt of adventures like this. Anna Taylor Brown had come a long way from the red clay roads of rural Georgia. “Damn, should I start an autobiography?” She wondered aloud. It was something her and Geneva discussed over a year ago on a yacht in Miami. “Don’t give anyone else a chance to tell your story, sis.” were Geneva’s exact words. Taylor’s train of thought was derailed by the fireworks going off over the circuit. “I love how your eyes catch every ray of light, every color.” Lewis laughed as he wrapped his arms around her. “Hey handsome. I missed you. You did well, my love.” She smiled as she kissed him. “You’re aware that I didn't win, right?” Lewis laughed. “I'm well aware. Can't I just be proud of my man?!” Taylor laughed. “I suppose so. Hey, I think we should try for a baby.” He smiled. “Are you serious?” Taylor smiled, her eyes sparkling with tears. She wanted to start trying but was afraid of him not being ready.

A/N 2: Joe and Eliza’s scenes will be in blue
Previous Chapter
“This muthafucka been taking her shopping and all over the damn place and she leaves me on read? Now she’s showing off a new car he bought her! That’s a $100K car! The fuck does he do?” Joe grumbled as he sat stuck in traffic with his cousins outside of Cincinnati. She didn’t just post the expensive shit he bought, she posted the simple things too. Joe had seen pictures of the ‘perfect’ cup of tea he made, a playlist they made together, and the bubble bath he ran especially for her. “I will tell you this again since you can’t wrap your big ass head around it…YOU ARE MARRIED!” Jon groaned. “I told her that I loved her. She said that shit back. How could she do this to me?!” Joe snarled as he rewatched the video of Taylor unwrapping her new car and thanking some guy in the background that said he loved spoiling her. He needed to know who this man was, so he searched for any clue to his identity. All Joe had been able to learn was that he was brown skinned with an accent. “She moved on, Joe. You been moved on. Got a whole fuckin’ wife. The club was a fluke. She got the closure she needed. I think you should unfollow her. Save yourself the hurt feelings cuz she’s in love with that man. He’s met her parents, she’s met his. Tara’s met him, said he’s really sweet and adores her. She went vegan for this man! They work out together, they go hiking, she jogs now. Says he be talking her through it while putting her through the mattress.” Josh added, swallowing a laugh. He could see his cousin slowly coming unraveled.
“I fuckin’ hate this.” Joe grumbled. “You started this, all those years ago. You could’ve been walking red carpets with her as she promotes her books. She could be dedicating her work to her loving husband Joe but here you are…pining after her when you’re the one who left! Put a baby in Eliza and live your fuckin’ life. The Taylor Era is dead and gone.” Jon said from the backseat. “I miss her, y’all. Don’t get me wrong, I love my wife…but there’s something inescapable about Anna. I can’t explain it. She was The One and I fucked it up.” Joe pouted. Just as he was about to DM her again, his phone pinged, it was Eliza.
❤️Eliza❤️: Hey babe. I see you’re stuck in traffic on I-75. I’ve been planning some stuff for us to do on this Miami trip. You like art? Art Basel is that weekend and I can grab some passes.
Joe👑: I love art. Get the passes. Call you when I get to the hotel.
Anna loved art and dragged him to galleries and museums anytime they went out of town.
“Don’t be upset but…I have a little bit of work that I have to do while in Miami. I’ll make it up to you, I promise.” Lewis sighed as he sat on the couch. “Why would I be upset? I know how much you have going on. It’s what I signed up for. I’ll find something to do with myself while my man does his thing. Ooh…is it a photo shoot? I love watching you do those. I’ll be quiet, I promise.” Taylor laughed. “I had planned on dragging you with me. Hence, why I said that I’d make it up to you.” Lewis laughed as he sat holding a purple velvet ring box in his hand. ”You’re going scuba diving…aren’t you? If you get swallowed by a Goliath Grouper, I will crash out. You know this, right?” Taylor laughed. “I know baby, I know. That wasn’t on the agenda but now I kinda want to.” He smiled. “Damnit. You gotta stop letting me influence you.” Taylor laughed. “I know, it’s just that…I’m always just trying to impress this American girl. She’s so bangin’ you just don’t know!” Lewis laughed as he sent her a candid picture that he had taken of her their last time together. “I fear you might be obsessed. How many of these do you have in your camera roll?” Taylor laughed. She was in her kitchen in bootyshorts and his Mercedes racing shirt with her hair in a messy bun making him guacamole. “I take at least two every day that we’re together. So that way…when I’m not with you, I can still see you doing everyday stuff.” He sighed. Her camera roll was filled with pics of him doing normal stuff around her house. Her favorite was of him smelling handmade soaps at the black farmers market.
“Aww. I miss you too, my love. Have you finished packing?” She asked. “See…I took a break to go drop Roscoe off and then I got sidetracked.” He laughed. “Lewis…my diva, you gotta finish packing. You’re not gonna have time to go shop for stuff you forgot.” She laughed. “I know, I know. I’ll be packed before I go to bed. I have a little something special for you to wear with your outfit.” He laughed as he examined the ring he designed for her. “Does it go under my clothing or over it, darling?” She laughed. “I’m hoping to see it both ways. I can’t wait to see you wearing only this.” He laughed, placing the box on the table in front of him. “I love how your British accent makes the freaky shit you say sound so classy and normal. You talk about eating my pussy from the back and it sounds like Shakespeare. You are diabolical.” Taylor laughed. “You never seem to complain when I have your thighs on my shoulders.” Lewis laughed. “Never a complaint, just an observation. You need me to braid your hair? You wearing your curls? What are we doing?” She asked as she finished packing her carry-on. “I got braided up this morning. What are you doing with your hair? Straight would be so sexy but that’s only if the humidity cooperates. I trust that no matter what, you’ll look stunning.” He yawned, the busyness of the day catching up to him. “You usually send me a pic. You don’t love me anymore?” Taylor pouted. “It’s a surprise, baby girl. Goodnight sweetheart, I’ll see you tomorrow afternoon. I love you.” Lewis had already been in Miami for a whole day planning this proposal.
Miami, FL
“You did great on the room, E.” Joe smiled as he joined Eliza in the living room. “Was there ever any doubt?” She smiled. Travel planning was one of her passions. “Never a doubt. I’m just glad we’re getting away for the weekend. Work has been so crazy.” Joe said as she handed him a drink from the bar. “You not having a dr…oh nevermind. I almost forgot.” He smiled. “How do you forget that we’re expecting!” She giggled, sitting down in his lap. Some twisted part of Joe’s mind prayed that Taylor would pull up on him saying that she was pregnant with his child too, but that visit never came. She was all over IG with a very flat stomach in St. Lucia, Mexico City and on white sand beach in a purple thong bikini, presumably with him. Her ass looked juicy and perfect like it always did. “Sorry, it’s still so new.” He sighed. He was very happy about the baby, but still in shock. “It’s crazy. I feel like since we’ve finally figured out what’s been going on with me that now I’m showing big time. I had to go back and exchange my dress first thing this morning before our flight.” She laughed as his hand rubbed her bump. “I’m glad you’re ok…both of you. You had me stressed for a minute there.” Joe sighed, kissing her forehead.
“I should’ve known that you were up to something!” Taylor smiled as Lewis opened the door before the bellman could turn the handle. “Perks of having a private jet.” Lewis smiled as the bellman set Taylor’s bags inside of the suite. He tipped the man and closed the door behind him. “You know how I like to get to the room first and make it cozy for us.” Taylor pouted. Lewis pulled her deeper into the suite to show her that he had done just that. Fresh cut flowers and a few candles lined the tables. “Cozy enough?” He smiled as she spotted the rose petals in the shape of a heart on the bed. “Very. What tricks do you have up your sleeve?” She asked. “None. Just wanted to make things cozy for you for once. That’s it, nothing more. And…I’ve made dinner reservations at a new Moroccan place that has both a regular menu and bangin’ vegan menu. Some new spot down on the water, heard nothing but good things. Amazing views.” He smiled. “I didn’t bring another good dress.” She sighed. “You know I got you. Just something I got from Ifeoma. She used your measurements from your last fitting. I hope I know your tastes as well as I think I do.” Lewis said as she approached the hanging bag in the closet.
It was a peacock blue cocktail length dress with gold beading scattered across the corseted top. “It’s gorgeous, Lewis. Should I wear this to the red carpet instead of the purple?” Taylor asked. “Nooo. We were gonna coordinate in purple.” Lewis laughed. “Ok, will we be coordinating tonight?” Taylor asked. “I’ll let you decide that.” He spoke, pulling her to the closet. He had a black shirt with peacock blue pants and a navy pantsuit with gold and teal jewelry that matched her dress. “You’re letting me style you? Oh Lew…this is serious.” Taylor teased. “What do you mean?” He asked nervously. Had she figured out his motive? Did something he said or did give it away? “It just means that you trust me enough to make you look good. You’ve always let me pick one thing but the whole damn outfit? You really know how to make a girl feel special.” Taylor sighed as she picked the black and peacock ensemble.
“God, you look amazing. Those heels make your legs look incredible. I can’t wait to spread them.” Lewis growled as she emerged from the bedroom. “I forgot to ask how you felt about the heel height.” Taylor sighed as she now stood 5’10. “You know I don’t care about that. Wear the shoes you want when you’re with me. I don’t have a problem with my height and I didn’t think you did either.” He sighed. “I don’t actually. I don’t remember us ever having the conversation before since I’m usually wearing sandals, no shoes at all or sneakers. I don’t mind you being my Short King for the weekend.” She said, giving herself a look in the full length mirror. “Ayee, Short King alert. Just know that if you were naturally this tall, I’d still be relentlessly chasing after you. The goat and his stallion.” Lewis laughed as he wrapped his arms around her waist from behind. “Boy, what you know about stallions?” She giggled. “Well, I dun been to Texas a time or two and that’s what they call a thick, fine woman that’s also tall.” He laughed in his best Matthew McConaughey accent. “Alright, that’s enough of that accent. One sexy accent is more than enough. Damn…we look good. Let’s get out of here before we miss our reservation.” Taylor growled as he ran her hand through his fresh braids.
Lewis sat nervously holding her hand as they rode through the city in the back of a Maybach sedan. “I think I have an idea for my next series.” Taylor smiled. “Oh? Tell me about it.” he smiled as all his attention shifted to her. He loved watching her speak passionately about anything she was working on. Taylor broke down the rough idea she had for her next supernatural thriller, this one set in the favelas of Rio de Janeiro. She suddenly felt warm under his intense gaze. “What?” She smiled shyly. “I love the way your eyes light up when you speak about your writing. It’s like I can see the idea being knit together in your brain.” He smiled as he pulled her into a kiss. “I feel the same way when you talk about your many, many passions. You inspire me in ways I never thought imaginable.” she smiled, kissing him back. “Really? Shit…that’s quite the standard I’ve set for myself. I hope I continue to live up to the hype.” he giggled. She loved when his refined media laugh faded into the giggle she loved so very much. His heart raced as they got closer to the restaurant. He just wanted tonight to be perfect. The proposal was the easy part, planning a wedding would be the hard part especially with the season looming in the distance.
“This place looks insane. They got a whole Moroccan riad aesthetic going. I don’t like that you didn’t let me look at the menu before. But I bet you did.” she laughed as the car came to a stop. “Sorry, baby. I wanted you to have options.” he smiled as he grabbed her hand to help her out. Stepping inside reminded her of the trip she and Geneva took to Marrakech to celebrate her book getting greenlit. “Is this what Morocco looks like?” he smiled. “Yep. You’d love the vibe. That should be our next trip when you have some time off. We can ride camels. I hear there’s great surfing too.” she laughed as he gave the host his name. “Right this way, Sir.” the man spoke as he led them through the restaurant to the private dining room. The space was draped in rich reds, teals, purples, blues, greens and golds with pillows and lanterns. The fragrant spices and mint tea hung heavy in the air.
“After the show, we should start planning for summer break,” he smiled. The host opened the door to the private dining room where Taylor’s parents, her brothers and her cousin Tara were sitting with Geneva and her new boyfriend. “SURPRISE!” They all laughed. “What is all this? Did I miss my birthday?” Taylor asked. “No. I just wanted your family here when I asked you to be my wife.” Lewis smiled as he got down on one knee with this purple velvet box. “Did he really need to get down on his knee?” Taylor’s brother Jordan mumbled. “I heard that!” Taylor laughed. “Anna Taylor Brown, my queen…will you marry me?” Lewis smiled. “Of course I will, baby. I love you too much to say anything but yes.” She smiled, tears twinkling in her eyes as he eased the ring onto her finger. She couldn’t have written a better happy ending for herself.
“There’s a new Moroccan spot that just opened down on the water. It’s got great reviews.” Eliza said as she flipped through the guidebook on the table near the window. “You don’t like chickpeas. There’s a sushi place in the hotel.” Joe sighed, his work schedule had him exhausted and he wanted to lay low. “I’m ordering you a book right now. I can’t have sushi and it’s hurting my spirit. You know I love my spicy tuna rolls! And I love chickpeas. I hate lentils.” Eliza laughed. “I’m sorry, baby. I didn’t know. Yes, please get me this baby book cuz I’m not going to remember everything. So, the Moroccan spot?” he asked. “Yes. We want hummus and pita.” she smiled, doing a little happy dance while she rubbed her belly.
“Did I do well?” Lewis asked as he admired the ring on Taylor’s ring finger. It looked better than he imagined. “It’s perfect, baby. You know the actual wedding ring will need to be bigger, right?” she laughed. “Hmm? You’re gonna break me, woman!” he laughed. “I was thinking of something to add to this like a diamond band for everyday wear. Ooh, and tattooed bands for the season.“ Taylor smiled, stealing a quick kiss. “Georgia or London for the wedding?” Taylor’s father Shawn asked. “Lake Como.” They both said. “Never heard of it.” Shawn laughed. “Pops, it’s beautiful but pales in comparison to your lovely daughter.” Lewis smiled as he sent his future father-in-law a YouTube video about their dream venue.
“This is nice. I love the ambiance.” Eliza smiled as they were seated near this mural of the bazaar of Marrakech. “Yeah, it’s a chill vibe. I hope that the food is to your liking.” Joe smiled as the server returned with a carafe of water. “The beef tagine sounds amazing. It’s got my favorite veggies in it.” Eliza smiled. Joe looked at the menu and that did sound good, until his eyes settled on chicken risotto with glazed carrots. It had been years since Joe had a good risotto. Anna’s risotto was better than his mom’s. He wondered what she had been doing. She was suspiciously quiet on both her accounts, it wasn’t like her at all.
“I know that traditionally the bride’s father pays for the wedding but my little butterfly has out earned me for quite some time now. Maybe we temper our expectations a bit.” Shawn laughed. “Daddy, I just need you there to walk me down the aisle. We got this. Right, babe?” Taylor spoke. “Yeah, we’re not expecting you to pay. Our parents are just to show up and witness our special day.” Lewis smiled. “Oh…and look good. Can’t stress that enough. Daddy, I’d like to see you in…hmm.” Taylor thought. “Don’t worry about that, T. I’ll get our dads right. Will you make sure my mum and stepmum are good? The rest of you are on your own.” Lewis laughed, Taylor nodded in agreement.
“Darling, I can’t believe we are smoking hookah with your parents after announcing our engagement.” Lewis laughed as he watched his future in-laws enjoying their wine and hookah. “I told them that I was moving to Atlanta with my cousin to be a stripper…my mom bought me my first pair of stripper heels. They made sure we lived someplace safe. Dad got me my first gun. They’re the most interesting people.” she laughed. “I told her to be the best damn stripper she could be.” her mother chimed in. And Taylor did just that, she had won pole dancing competitions out in Vegas in her 2nd year. “Shit was weird lowkey.” Taylor mumbled, Lewis laughed.
Josh: Tara-Squad…whatchu doin?
Tara: In Miami with Tay and the fam. Her fiancé flew us all out for the proposal he had planned.
Josh: Proposal?! Aww hell. Wait…she said yes, right?
Tara: Of course she did! She loves this man real bad.
Josh: Let me get a pic of the happy couple. I need a good laugh cuz you know who finna act a whole fool. He was spiraling in Cincy talmbout “How could she do this to me? I love her.” King of Delululand.
Tara: He does know that he’s married, right? Don’t tell me that CTE got him! *sends pic of the engagement ring to be petty*
Josh: GYATDAMN! Clearest diamond I’ve ever seen in my fuckin’ life.
“Who you over here texting and giggling with?” Taylor laughed as she flopped down next to Tara. “You don’t even wanna know. But think of the messiest muthafucka we know.” Tara laughed. “Them Fatu twins are so damn messy! They’ve always loved making Big Head hype about something. Let me guess. You told Josh about the engagement?” Taylor shook her head. “Yes, cuz that man deserves to choke on your happiness.” Tara grumbled. Taylor had always told her to not be so angry about it but that forever fell on deaf ears. Tara always saw Taylor as her little sister since they were the only girls in the family. “And before you tell me to chill, I was the one who held you while you screamed and cried over him. When you wanted to stop living…I was there!” Tara growled. “You’ve always been there for me, T and I’ll love you endlessly for that. I was just going to say to just wait until tomorrow. We poppin’ out…officially…with the ring.” Taylor giggled. “OHMIGOD to be a fly on the wall wherever he is when he sees!” Tara laughed.
Lewis walked out of the bathroom stall and to the sink next to a tall, muscled man with a slicked back ponytail. They nodded a hello and Lewis continued washing his hands. “That’s a nice watch. Rolex?” Joe spoke. “Audemars Piguet. A gift from my fiancé. She’s got an eye for unique luxury. Have a nice night, man.” Lewis smiled as he dried his hands and walked away. Joe immediately Googled a gold Audemars with a teal & black face. “$300K, holy shit.” He mumbled, it was a new goal unlocked. He had bought himself a nice Rolex when he signed his big contract, but now it felt inadequate by comparison. Joe walked out to see the man heading back into the private dining room. He thought he heard an all too familiar laugh…Taylor.
