I redesigned Hazel and I love her

I decided to have her design match her personality and backstory a bit more. She was raised on a farm and did a lot of work there growing up, So of course she'd be a bit on the strong side. I also made her hair shorter because she probably wouldn't like dealing with long hair.

Today's my adventurous little journalist's birthday (Which isn't the same as the day she was created btw)!

She's enjoying a chocolate cupcake Jay got her from the bakery, Since she loves those!

Everybody wish her a very happy birthday and please tell her to stop throwing herself into dangerous situations to get a news story!

My brain got buzzing and I drew my OCs if they were in Splatoon (Consider it a sorta sequel to this)

Jay's an Inkling, Scottie and Ulle are Octolings, Hazel's a sea slug, Tara's a sea anemone, and Harrison's a jellyfish.

I also used this as an opportunity to update Jay and Scottie's designs.

Journalism can be a dangerous job for Hazel sometimes. And it doesn't help that Scottie, Someone she met through Jay and considers a friend, Turned out to be a part of the criminal clan she was doing a news story on.

And it's not like Scottie wants anything happening to Hazel. Jay would be thoroughly pissed at them and they don't want that. But they're loyal to the clan they consider home and Scottie doesn't want them arrested because of Hazel's news stories.

(And no, Hazel isn't aware Jay is a Toppat too. Not yet...)
