Greeting Hazel Runners!

Admin L here to let you know that S and I have come to a decision about the character situation we had going on. From now on, we will no longer be a Glee RP but those currently playing a Glee character may keep everything as is if they wish to. If name changes are wanted, that is completely up to but we’ll be taking out the Glee characters from the open characters (we will be keeping a couple of their FCs around just switching names). 

HOWEVER, if there’s a connection your character has that you’d like to keep send the main a message and we’ll keep their FC around but change the name. If you have any questions, fell free to message the main or send an IM to Callia and/or Maxine’s blog.

Also at this time, Wanted Connections are now reopened.

And since we missed it by three days, Happy Two Year Anniversary of Hazel Run opening up for the first time!

A Couple of Important Notes:

Firstly, guess who’s back?? Hint: it’s me.

But on the reason I’m making this post. As of right now, Hazel Run is closed for auditions. Both Admins have been wanting to update/change a couple of things, so we’re going to be doing that. However, during this revamp we will not be posting any promos or accepting any auditions. This does not mean that you cannot continue roleplaying during the revamp, we will be monitoring activity/the starter tag during the revamp and characters will be reopened if needed after the revamp is over. So keep on interacting with each other while the admins do work.

We’d love it if you all could go vote on this poll on what we should do with the Glee characters should we decide to make Hazel Run an oc rp only. Keep in mind that there are three options (well, four if you include the other). The first option would mean changing names only (fcs, connections, personality, etc, would change only if you wanted them to). The second option is keeping everything as is, and the third option is basically the opposite of the first where we would be getting rid of OCs and turning into a Glee RP only. (The other option gives you the ability to give us an alternative if you think we’ve missed something there). We’ll let you know on this decision in a couple of days.

Also, during this time, Wanted Connections will not be accepted.

Good morning, people! Admin S here because I need to tell you guys one thing... Hazel Run is not dead, people! No, don't think that, okay? It's just that time of the year... You know? That time when we have to focus on school, and stuff? And that is why we are not accepting, or making events, or promoting, or posting new characters, and new things, or updating some things. But don't worry, okay? We are still here, just taking a small hiatus from the main, so we can focus on rela life, okay? I can't wait to be back to the main, so we can have some more events, and have some more fun! But for now, the Hazel Run main is on hiatus, so, if you wanna contact me, message me on my Quinn's account or Charlie's okay? And don't forget, this is all for us to focus on school and work, so don't worry, okay? Once we are back on the main, we will make a post to let you guys know that we are accepting once again. But for now, you can still roleplay, like I will continue doing, of course, but we won't accept for a few. So don't worry, have fun, and focus on real life for a few!

As always, if your character isn’t listed on any of those pages, or the information is wrong, please let us know and we’l fix/change it as soon as possible.

We’ve updated the starter rule to “replying to 5 or more starters before posting your own (with exceptions- which can be read in the rules)” instead of focusing on the amount of notes the starter has. But more importantly, we need to have a serious discussion about something.

The rules we have set up, which you all agreed to follow when you submitted your app, are there to keep the roleplay flowing smoothly. They’re to stop someone from not wanting to log on because they’re being ignored or getting hate for no reason. They’re to stop the same four people form always interacting with the same people over and over again. They’re there to make this a place where peple want to log in and roleplay instead of hashing out replies and then logging off for a couple of days. They’re not there to be ignored or only sometimes followed.

Which means when we remind you all that your characters should be replying to everyone, that means everyone. Not just ship partners or best friends, but everyone in the roleplay.

Which means when we remind you all that replying to other peoples’ starters is considered a part of activity, that means that replying to starters is just as important as doing replies.

We both fully understand having muse issues and not being able to do replies, or having a terrible day and not really wanting to roleplay (and Admin L completely understands having a terrible mental health day and not wanting to be on at all), but not following the rules is something we’ve let happen for far too long. It creates an environment where people don’t want to log on, or start feeling ignored, and that’s not okay at all.

So we’re asking you all reread the rules page and make sure you fully agree to what they’re saying, and then like this post. By doing so, this is saying that you’re willing to follow them and is the very last warning we will be giving about bubble rping or not replying to starters.

Guys, don't forget the power motto. Before you make a starter, reply to all the other starters.

This will give you more chances of getting plots going on, and will give you more chances to have connections with other people and characters.

Guys, we see everything.

Just because we don't comment on a few stuff, doesn't mean we are not seeing what you guys are doing. We see that, once again, bubbling is happening, a lot. And some of you are ignoring starters. That is not okay, and once again, you are not following the rules. And if that keeps happening, we are going to put you on activity check. And if you don't change, after three warnings, you will be kicked out, like a few people already were in the past. Make sure that, before you make your own starter, you reply to the other starters, and reply to everyone, not just your friends, or ship partner, but yes, to everyone! If you are online, and we know who is online, and someone makes a post, but you keep replying and totally ignore that starter, you will most likely end up in the activity check. Because here, we don't like people ignoring people. Please, make sure you don't bubble, and you stop ignoring people, and their starters. This needs to change, and is the last time we actually warn before we start putting some people in the activity check. Also, if you have more than one character, make sure you are as active in your second and/or third character, just like you are in your main character, or, you will start losing charaters. We don't want to keep getting hate because people are bubbling and/or ignoring people, and/or not following the rules. Thank you, and people, if you are online, go to the starters page, and reply everyone before you make your own starter. Stop ignoring people, and stop bubbling. The same goes to the ooc blog. Thank you.
