Guess who was in hospital again? This guy!

I was so worried about being an inconvenience to the other people in the emergency department but man.. that was the kind of pain that was so intense I couldn't hold back the whimpering and couldn't stop pacing (or digging my nails into poor Hazz's shoulders) to try and take my mind off it. The poor triage nurse gave me oxycodone to try and take the edge off (didn't work at all but I appreciate it) and was working as fast as she could to get me a bed in the ward. It was about 5:30am by the time they got me to a bed and were able to give me more painkillers and then finally some morphine which did actually help!

I have been home for almost a week and have been experiencing severe spikes in pain multiple times a day and night but at least now I know what it is and can try to deal with it until it passes. Pain killers really only seem to make each spike not last quite as long as the first time but that's better than nothing at all. I'm currently living with a heat pack strapped to me lol

A lesson in making sure I stay hydrated, I guess. Hopefully this passes soon!
