Tell the readers who you are? Give us a brief sentence about your life too. My name is Ashley rucks I am a writer and director of my own short films. I grew up in the foster care system lived on my own and graduated from el camino college and I am transferring to cal state Dominguez hills working on my BS, I'm a preschool sub teacher. And I love what I do! :) What or who inspired you to write movies? N why? My foster/adopted mom inspired me she passed away in 2006 and when she was alive I always wrote short stories and poems. She would make me read 30min a day! :) when I came home from school. I was 11 years old making short film movies :) Tell us about your first short film.
My first short film, I was seating at work thinking about life and my friends and family. And I said why not tell a story about life. So I started writing stories about everyday things people go through everyday. And I couldn't stop :) Give a brief description about the color of life The Color of Life tells a story about life struggles and things that people go through everyday. Do you have any more projects in the works? Yes, I do I'm actually Turing The Color of Life into a web series. And working on a suspense movie. Called "I told You no". And many more short films also.
