Ahhhh this is a great idea, thank you so much!!! I'm going to include El and Max, too because they've already had breakups, so might as well lol.

🔥NANCY WHEELER wants to seem well put together, but she will absolutely smack the shit out of you (as seen with Steve in S1) if you do her horribly wrong. Nancy is a crier as much as she hates that about herself, but anger is hard for her to process, especially when it comes on hard and fast during a breakup. - Nancy's revenge is doing everything better than her ex. She will absolutely one up you in every way she can just to make a point. - She'll make a subtle show of how much happier she is and how much more fun she's having now that she's free of your bullshit. - While Nancy is passive aggressive about her behavior, her friends are not, and you should probably be more afraid of them than of her, especially Robin. Robin would kill for Nancy.

🔥EL "JANE" HOPPER has trouble controlling her emotions, especially anger or jealousy. She'll dump your ass in front of your friends just to make a point, and she will embarrass you by calling you out every chance she gets. She's going to yell at you, and you better not yell back or objects around the room might fly at your head. - If your Orange Julius randomly explodes while you're standing in the mall food court flirting, you know it was El. She can hold a grudge like none other, and you'll be the first one to apologize if you have any hope of being on her good side again. - If El doesn't like you, neither does her bestie, Max. Max is also going to make fun of you in front of everyone and will not take any of your shit in return. Best to steer clear as long as El's still mad. - She will still spy on you even while you're broken up just to make sure you're okay. Even though she's mad at you, she doesn't want any harm to come to you, but she'll never admit it out loud.

🔥ROBIN BUCKLEY has a heart of gold, so you know you had to have fucked up massively to be losing her love. She gets anxious during fights and heavy conversations, so she'll be fidgeting the whole time, not having much to say. The real challenge starts after she has time to process the conversation. - Robin won't harm anyone physically, and she won't be calling you out in front of your friends. But when you walk out to the parking lot to drive home, and three of your tires are flat, you'll wonder if it could've been her. You'll never know. Her revenge is sneaky, and effective. - Her way of melding into a crowd when she doesn't want to be seen is a talent few possess. She'll make you feel the pain of your loss by never running into you again, and you're sure to feel the void she leaves behind. No more neverending conversations, no more mixtapes, no more sweet notes left in inconspicuous places for you to find. She's just gone. - Robin's friends will protect her at all costs, and if you dare to try to approach her after the breakup, Steve will stand in your way, and you bet he'll threaten you in ways you never dreamed someone would. Best to walk away from that one and never return.

🔥MAX MAYFIELD is strong willed, and once she makes up her mind, that's it. She has a quick wit, so the breakup conversation hurts way more for you than it does for her. She doesn't like to beat around the bush or draw things out, so the more you fight, the more she puts you back in your place. She won't cry in front of you, but her goal will be to make you crack before you leave. - Max is going to cold shoulder you. She doesn't bother trying to hide from you or work around you - she just completely ignores you, and that stings. It will be like she never knew you at all. - Max's friends know she can fight her own battles, so they don't usually come up against you except for El. She is very protective over Max, and she won't let you get anywhere near her. Randomly tripping in the hallway every time you get too close couldn't be a coincidence, could it? - If Max ever decides to talk to you again, it will be to insult you or make fun of you. She's got a stockpile of rude one liners and mean nicknames just waiting to be unleashed on her ex that did her wrong. You're in for a bitter treat.

Idk if I did this right, but I hope it's okay either way lol. It was fun to write and think about, and I hope I did them justice 😭
