Ever since he was a kid, he's been made fun of being skinny and has stuck to wearing oversized hoodies or long sleeved t-shirts.
So people in high school are used to the idea that he's still skinny
He doesn't show it off a lot as Billy Hargrove might do
When he takes his shirt off in front of you for the first time, you're immediately shocked
He looks at you and chuckles a bit with a sly smirk while saying without a beat "Why do you look so shocked?"
"I just didn't expect you to be so ripped."
"How do you think I kicked Harrington's ass so easily?"
Loves picking you up bridal style even when it's not necessary
If you weighed a bit more than him, that literally doesn't stop him at all
He's not going to be one of the guys that can't pick up their partner or make a excuse
When you wake up in the morning next to him, he will wrap his arm around your waist and pull you in to avoid you escaping him
Would have your favorite sweet treat/dessert for his cheat day so you both can enjoy
Ignoring the part how you're literally his cheat day everyday because of how good you taste
Doesn't mind you leaving lipstick stains or hickeys on his muscles
Even wrapping a tiny pink ribbon to see it rip on his biceps. But he loves you to keep it on and let people see.
Sometimes he still feels the bullying effect about his body even years later, but knows you are his reassurance
Even though he's physically strong, he sees you as his stability.
His head in your lap while you caress his hair and he talks to you about his problems is enough than just having a "good body"
He knows better than to raise his voice at you, just because he's a man
Makes sure he's nothing like Billy or those stuck up body builder guys who would fatshame their partner or act better than anyone else
Joyce raised him better than that, because his dad wouldn't do
