PSA - FIC LOCATING HELP NEEDED

Hi everyone,

So, despite my best efforts, I’ve lost my oldest posted fanfic. I was planning on moving them to Ao3 but hadn’t gotten to it and now harrypotterfanfiction.com is gone. I tried the wayback machine and only the title pages were crawled. I’m so upset, I may have the original files, but they are all on old computers/flash drives with various levels of accessibility and maybe functionality at my parents.

This is a long shot, but if you read stories I posted to harrypotterfanfiction.com (or net back in the day) and happened to save them/have found them posted online elsewhere, please let me know.

Half-Blood Prince and the Muggleborn I don’t have in this form, but I have been revamping it for years, so while I’d like to find it again, this is more a legacy fic I’d hoped to save for posterity.

This is really a longshot, but let me know if you can help. And signal boost this, especially in HP spaces/people who read HP fanfiction 2008-2011.

Hey, so it’s been a while.

I don’t know why I’ve been avoiding tumblr since the election (actually, it was more when my old computer died, then the election happened), but it just kind of happened. I’ve been finding it so hard to connect with fandom things. I haven’t written in ages and that kills me. But I randomly ended up back here today in a round about way and I’ve really missed it. Also it’s nice to be hearing some different perspectives from those from the people I know irl, I’ve been on facebook WAAAAAAY too much these past few months.

Also, I’ve been cross stitching this massive dog picture for my boss who is retiring in December, and I have to put my ass in gear if I am going to finish in time. Also grad school. Which will be done around the same time! So yay!

So I might be around a little more. Or I might not. But I’ve been rewatching Glee and it’s reminded me of that community, and while those glory days are gone, it’s nice to reconnect to that time in my life, because let’s face it, it was pretty fucking awesome.

Gah, after a decade I’m really seriously considering changing my theme. I love it so much, but also it’s SO wonky and super hard to read. IDK if the font got smaller or my eyes got worse but ugh. And it’s probably hell formatting wise.

Now I just have to find the bandwidth to figure this out... :P

Tumblr's algorithms are so weird. This is like, what my blog was about six years ago??? I haven't reblogged teen wolf in AGES. My klaine tags are still the first on mobile, like did I reblog that much content that it still overshadows 5-6 years of other stuff? I literally mention HP in my bio.

Anyways, I'm mostly a GH, HP (Snape friendly), cute animal and funny random shit blog!

I tend to cycle through focusing on writing, reading, and crafting. This past year has been hard for all of them, though I’ve forced myself to read and also did some pandemic crafting. But suddenly my creative switch feels like it was flipped and I want to do all three but I seem to be locked into crafting mode atm which is great but also no one has written the fic I feel like reading so I’m going to have to do all the work myself.

If anyone else ships Viktor Krum/Ron Weasley and/or Pomona Sprout/Minerva McGonagall, hit me up.

Whoops I’ve been away so long that I was surprised by the high resolution Hamilton gifsets!

I’m back! Been a bit of a month or so. Going back into the office a few days, everything is anxiety but also okay. 

Also still wrestling with the whole “who am I without Harry Potter?” thing and how much it’s tied into my fandom identity! I don’t know! I think I’ll always be Hermione Clone, but not really feeling my avatar for the first time in forever. :/ We’ll see!
