Wow a truly fantastic summer working with young people! I love the Arts Award and the opportunities it gives to young people. I was able to use the arts in a variety of ways and seeing young people of various ages from 13 to 17 exploring creativity and expressing themselves made me smile!

Great third session for the participants - Lesley and I really enjoyed hearing about their comedy workshop, especially as we were not there! We had a great session at 1aArts and Museum of Comedy today. Young people discussed ideas, looked at different genres, had a masterclass in shot sizes and then planned and filmed their own 5 shot silent film!

This year we are at The Museum Of Comedy .... have to say rather enjoyed being on a stage and speaking into the microphone! Good first week, am excited after reading the bios of the young people. A creative summer ahead!
