∿ 𝅄 ˚ elena  wasn't  much  of  a  nurturing  type  ,  but  she  also  wasn't  a  monster  .  when  she  found  the  girl  ,  she  couldn't  just  leave  her  there  to  be  found  by  someone  else  .  she  knew  she  couldn't  get  her  to  a  hospital  ,  but  she  was  well  equipped  to  take  care  of  the  girl  ,  even  if  she  didn't  know  her  .  her  first  priority  was  ensuring  the  girl  was  warm  ,  hence  the  reason  she'd  dragged  out  her  new  space  heater  and  wrapped  her  in  as  many  blankets  as  she  could  .  “  you  should  really  be  more  careful  on  that  ice  out  there  ,  ”  she  told  her  ,  not  trying  to  lecture  her  or  anything  ,  merely  stating  a  fact  .  “  that  shit's  dangerous  .  ”  she  furrowed  her  brows  as  she  looked  at  the  girl  ,  unsure  of  what  to  do  with  her  .  “  do  you  have  someone  i  should  call  ?  to  let  them  know  that  you're  okay  ?  ”
