i agree !! i find both lone star and og rlly interesting because theyve dealt with both different and similar issues, but because of how individual the characters are you get different perspectives/plot lines out of them both ! i tend to flip flop between which one i like more just based on which ive watched more recently (og right now since its airing lol) but i rlly think theyre both fantastic

Yeah! This is a good way of putting it. They use similar premises and the same basic setup, but at their core, they are very different shows that just happen to have some overlap. I think it would be cool to see them air back to back because I think it would be fun to have that juxtaposition. They both are fantastic shows and I’m glad to have them in my life. Lone Star has made me more interested in OG, so I definitely think there’s plenty of room in my heart for both.

are there any measures put in place to protect your work from being taken if it’s not chosen? as in, does entering a competition give them the rights to use your work even if its not chosen to win, or are there precautions/legal guidelines set in place? bc over the years ive seen a LOT of creative-based contests slip this kinda thing under the rug

99 is, as they should be, really careful about that kind of stuff. Until an agreement is signed, which only happens when your design is selected, you own your design and can withdraw at any time. The Contest Holder has no legal right to your work. Only after the handover agreement is signed do you ‘lose’ your rights to the design. Now can they do anything if the Contest Holder ends the contest and then steals an idea? I don’t think so, though they may have some kind of legal process in place, I’m not sure, and unfortunately that kind of stealing is always a risk with designs, but I’ve been using their services for almost 11 years and have never had an issue with this kind of thing. One thing I have seen is other designers copying a good idea or the Contest Holder loving an idea and telling others to do something similar. A lot of designers prefer entering Blind contests which don’t allow fellow designers to see each other’s submissions, which I do think is the best way to do a Contest so there’s no risk of copying. It’s not a perfect system but I really do believe 99 does their best. Like I said, I’ve been on the site for a very long time and have only ever had positive experiences when I’ve reached out to their staff for a variety of reasons.

glee was just so outrageous and insane but you could never just stop watching, like towards the end it was just plain ridiculous but you stayed committed bc youd have put years of your life into it there was no way you were gonna Not know how it ended 😤 and yes i will forever be bitter that we didnt get more sebastian, but grant got a better opportunity so like.... im chill wit it. i still wish we'd gotten more of him though, he couldve been such a good character

yes I’m happy bc grant got a better opportunity with the flash (same with melissa and supergirl), and besides he got a lot of hate from part of the klainers *eye roll* just because of his character, but I liked sebastian’s character SO MUCHHHH he was like the typical fuckboy but gay and I’m just so confused cuz one season he’s regretting everything and feeling guilty so he says he’ll be nice and the next season he’s seen as a kinda villain again (AND OMG THE WARBLERS USING STEROIDS LIKE LMAO THEY ALWAYS WERE ABLE TO JUMP AROUND AND DANCE LIKE THAT) and then the next season he’s helping blaine with the proposal...LIKE WHAT? As much as I love glee though I have to admit there are some scenes that are so fucked up that it pains me to watch it, like when ryder confessed he was molested by his babysitter and then artie and sam saying he should be grateful bc a hot teenager touched him (which was so ooc of sam, sam was never like that, they totally ruined him)...and they take that like it’s ok, like it’s just another opinion and keep moving on...idk glee was pretty messed up. But yeah I still watched the final.

SKSKSK I THOUGHT THE SAME THING BABE i had a .5 sec freak out bc i was like 'did they release??? random stuff?? 4 yrs after it ended???' and it rlly goes to show that i will forever be weak for that shitshow :|

omg glee was epic, it did have maaaanyyyy flaws but god it was so addictive. Though I'm still mad they didn't give sebastian more screentime, more songs, gosh I would have loved for the writers to deepen his storyline, but oh well guess glee had more interesting things to do like ya know, love drama lol.
