HCP Engagement Trends 2025: The Data Pharma Marketers Can't Ignore New data on HCP engagement is exposing a widening gap between how physicians want to be reached and how pharma marketing teams are actually engaging them. According to the Veeva Pulse Field Trends Report, physician access has dropped sharply only 45% of HCPs in the US are now accessible to biopharma, down from 60% just eighteen months ago. At the same time, 50% of accessible HCPs are limiting engagement to three or fewer pharma companies, making every touchpoint far more competitive.
The real opportunity lies in content. Despite content-driven engagement being proven to double treatment adoption, only 48% of HCP meetings currently use content effectively. When relevant content is used, engagement becomes twice as effective at driving adoption compared to interactions without it.
These numbers point to a clear shift: as physician access becomes more limited, relevance and value-driven content strategies matter more than ever. At Healthark, we track these HCP engagement trends closely to help healthcare and pharma organizations build smarter, content-first engagement strategies.
