I might be the last person in the Universe to see Hidden Figures (I blame Star Baby!), but I love that the well-deserved hype around the movie (and the real Black women involved) has continued into award season and beyond (maybe even into a Broadway musical!).
Today’s #TshirtTuesday, “Ask Me About My Scientific Agenda” by kalgado (@kalgado) on @teefury is a way to celebrate the accomplishments & motivate us to keep fighting for inclusion and for science.
Science *is* political, and participation, representation*, and recognition in science needs to reflect the population as a whole, otherwise we are simply not doing the best science we can.
