hdh i almost got hit by a car
That post about Mark Strong playing a good villain, but being a family man at heart just makes me think let mark strong play soft/nice characters 2k16.
Ahahahahaha I know, right? It’s one of the reasons I like his Merlin so much so far–Merlin isn’t really soft, exactly, but I do appreciate that he’s not a villain.
I haven’t seen that much of Mark’s filmography (I got lost last winter watching….something like at least 30 Colin Firth films *shifty eyes*), but if you’re looking for not-a-villain Mark and don’t already know of them, he’s good in Fever Pitch (the original 1997 UK version), Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy (the 2011 movie), and Before I Go to Sleep (2013), all of which also have Monsieur Firth. And he’s pretty good in The Imitation Game as a secondary character.
Edit to add that Before I Go to Sleep has some fairly extensive onscreen abuse/man-beating-woman scenes, although not involving Mark, so it may not be everyone’s, uh, cup of tea considering.
hAPPY 2012 EVEROBDOY
I'd actually pay someone to come stroke my hair and let me fall asleep on them bc I feel so sick and shaken up, I can barely hold myself up and ugh I'm so run down
I keep trying to sneeze and it's just not happening.
