tbh I started to feel pretty bad for the monkey when Pan was attacking the hell out of him, like he did hurt Pan before but it wasn't even His fault, like the poor little monkey is just Marisa's tool, always being either used against someone or being smothered or literally locked away depending on if it was convenient for her at the time! Just like how she Wants Lyra but only to Have her, just to have a bit more of the control she keeps seeking and she always manages to claw at more and more, but never has enough, never as much as the men all around her no matter how lesser they are compared to her
