Apparently the ball got rolling in part due to a casual chat with the editor about Ayahiro (Ayaka is in Love with Hiroko which was a super successful manga to live action) a while back.

yuri doodle as a break from artfight. i read hdwr a little while ago and it shot me in the chest fifty times. i absolutely adored all of it but the yuria and saeko arc resonated with me a lot....
