Narita has lost control of the situation. He’s basically assembled all of the characters into the “parlor” of a murder mystery and now they’re all going to start with the friction that will break open the case. Or in this situation force people to confront the elephant in the room.
Now I want to rewatch the original Clue movie. (Not sure if they remade it, but I feel like that’s something they’d have done.)

She’s hitting all the classics and nothing is bridging the gap. It used to be that they could share a look in a crowded room because they loved the same song.
She really physically deteriorates when she hits a wall and is upset. It happened back in high school too.
And she’s powered down after working her way through all of her stages. Only this time it’s not Mitsuki who’s holding her up.
There’s an open stage waiting for you, but she might not always be in the audience like she is now.
I’m sorry, but after Shu has heard all the good things about Mitsuki through Aya all this time it must be whiplash from her POV to see Aya drowning over there because of her.
Maybe it'd be good for someone to be pissed off on Aya's behalf because that's not in Narita's nature and Aya has to fight through the rizz haze to get anything out herself normally.
This is unexpected. Yiggybean is doing a preorder for Drunken My Boss MOFUN merch to the US. I never would have guessed. My little baihe collection is growing. There isn't much to collect in English print so for a short period of time I have all of it.
I finished vol 1 of The Creator's Grace over the holiday weekend and really liked it. I tend to be drawn towards modern stories more than historical and this one has that near future scifi corporation murder mystery thing going for it where it feels like it's maybe a decade ahead of us in tech. I like the two main characters a lot and I felt like the revelations were coming at a satisfying pace even though I think this is only 1 out of 4 volumes. Reading this made me feel a lot better about making that original leap to preorder from Yiggybean for the first time.
I'm going to keep the momentum going and read At the World's Mercy that came out with 2 volumes at once. Both of these Rosmei titles are sold out on Yiggybean currently, but you can get on the email list for when there are restocks (or if you are in another country and can source Rosmei stuff elsewhere). It also seems like Rosmei is expanding to physical locations like Kinokuniya in the US more so maybe they'll end up there too someday.
The Beauty's Blade was first to market, but probably not first in any baihe reader's top ten. It's contained to one volume which might have helped it be a small investment/risk by 7cs. I don't regret buying it, but I feel like The Creator's Grace might be the better entry novel out of those out so far.

Mitsuki is busy digging herself a deeper hole. But at least this way it means Aya knows where she is most of the time I suppose.
Ok, I do kinda get it.
Mitsuki is probably very happy in every other part of her life besides her relationship with music so why should she complain to Aya that she's feeling like her band ambitions and carefully protected idea of "self" are terminally incompatible?
It probably feels like it's an impossible situation so it's better to just power through by ignoring it. Whenever anything threatens that hurt grade school version of herself she reacts from her old headspace.
Even though she's the super-cool adult Mitsuki now she can still be hurt the same way she was when she was weathering it all alone. While she's not really alone anymore she might not want to draw Aya into that core insecurity with her. Especially with how she probably believes Aya thinks that's been put in the past.
Having Aya know her so well actually made it harder to try to compromise herself to fit in earlier so that's a no-go. She had originally cracked back when she saw Aya in the crowd that day after all.
Aya knows where you live and she knows where you work. And there's no secret third place. You're cooked, Mitsuki.
Shu-chan's face is going to freeze like that. Aya is prematurely aging her.
How did they talk her into going to Aya's girlfriend's place of work when she already hardly tolerates the all gf bragging that's been going on? Narita has thrown in all of his cards with this one.
Someone will eventually have to take drink orders. Will Mitsuki make Rinko do it? Shu is going to get a terrible impression of Mitsuki at this rate too. Or she'll notice Aya is off. What Aya has said and THIS won't match up. She's not dumb.
The opening act with all the pieces together in the same room. I kept saying it would be nice if they all got together and properly meet up so I will take the blame for not reading the T&C completely.
I love this series so much I own it in Japanese. I am thrilled to see it getting this much support for volume 1. It’s charming and delightful and hopefully a sign for more good things to come for the genre.
Nominations are starting again and a few series I read are already calling for support. It's an extremely long shot for yuri to actually win it, but even getting short listed can do a world of good for a series. Winners all pretty much end up getting picked up for an anime adaptation soon after too.
I'm waiting for more mangaka to promote themselves before I fill it out since I can do five for each category and you only get to submit once.

Well this wasn’t going to be allowed to go on forever. A lot of Mitsuki’s band drama she had kept to herself even before the last straw event. So Aya has only had pieces to work with.
Aya had showed up to her concert to support her, she’s been serving up music on the fringes when they were out or when Mitsuki was sick, and now she sneaking some for herself on the side.
Mitsuki is really Koga-ing hard with her dislike for confrontation. Not everything has to be a fight, but she seems to classify any level of discord as hitting level 10. It’s either bliss or turmoil. Distract and avoid.
I do still wonder what her pre-Joe life was like. Joe had a bad habit of stifling himself for her, but not all of this can be learned from that.
Aya’s caught on to the tactics. She can’t be rizzed out of awareness anymore. Probably for the first time ever. It’s going to take some actual conscious effort.
If they had video games quifrey would probably help the girls out on a tough level
I’m pretty sure this has been done before but I’ve been into soft stuff lately and this is based on that image of a mom helping her kids beat a hard level
I feel it kinda suits Agott to be kinda proud and sure of quifrey being able to solve a tough puzzle. They r all so sweet. I absolutely loved making Richeh she’s so babie. I hope I got the girls’ personalities right.
