"Don’t go."
"don’t go."
it was faint. barely heard. but siren’s sad tone rang so loud in his ears. stopped a noble man ready to leave. ready to let the kingdom they built crumble down to her feet. after long night of quarrel, of toxic words that made his rage reach it’s peak—- he hurt her. she hurt him. he broke her. she broke him. it was doomed from the start, baleful affair of the hero & the queen.
▸ ▸ ▸ it felt so right yet it felt so wrong. it felt so different but they were bound to fall.
he said he was done, turning on his heels & sailor was ready to board his ship and sail further away from the baneful queen. far, where there was no sign of sirens singing his name, for he was tired, and so was she—- but how can he leave, when droplets of water echoed from the sink, where siren sat on bathroom’s grounds and the cold floor touching her feet, how swollen were her eyes but she’s the most beautiful he had ever seen.
"i wont."
that’s when he made a troth to never leave. softened expression came across features— retracting his steps, for it’s always him. back with her in his arms, on a cold floor, but warm was her heat, and her breath brushed his skin, slow & weary—- in sync with his. where masculine and well built arms circled her frame, were they strong enough to carry both of them & their deadly mess? he’ll attempt and hold on nonetheless.
there they are once again beneath the sheets, her back pressed against his chest, and silent were his pleas, in each kiss he’ll plant on her bare shoulder with his lips. if he could, they’ll forever remain like this, if he could, he’ll hold her closer to make sure she’ll become only his, but one of them would always leave.
the collision of outlaw & justice, sure to arise hell’s madness.fire would burn him, thoughts would wrap him over sentiments that she would one day leave him. for the two words she uttered, so unlikely fragile but even so, just as adamant, it took two words for him to become forever loyal to his queen.
