First it was the fist fight with Lucius in Florish and Blotts but this time it’s BestFatherFigure!Arthur Weasley v.s. DustyCrusty!Vernon Dursley.

Goblet of Fire just as Harry and Arthur are about to leave the Dursleys house via floo, Harry says bye to the Dusty’s and they don’t say anything back.

OUR COLLECTIVE, HONORARY FANDOM FATHER DOESN’T LET THIS SHIT SLIDE. He stops Harry and reiterates that they won’t see him until next YEAR so they SHOULD totally say bye. And maybe this didn’t have a profound effect on some readers but to me this spoke a thousand words.
