AU where Aizawa can not only float his hair, but his entire body too.

He doesn’t do it very often because it’s not really flying (all he can do control how high he floats, not the direction and how fast), and because it requires a ton of concentration and makes his bones ache like crazy right after.

Class 1-a finds out about it one day when Aizawa is trying to save a cat from a tree but falls and decides “TO HELL WITH IT! ACHING BONES IS A SMALL PRICE TO PAY FOR MAKING SURE THIS CAT IS SAFE!” So he just floats before hitting the ground and stands upright again. It results in a lot of screaming.

(The loudest coming from Uraraka. Though most can’t tell if it’s out of excitement for a new floating buddy, or utter betrayal because he never told her.)
