how am i supposed to listen to anything anybody says when he stands like THIS while i’m having conversations
honestly if you really think about it, a lot of the things fandom attributes to jack being an ‘innocent baby’ (and other variations) are just performative, surface-level social interactions and politeness. holding a door open? waving and saying hello? these aren’t sure-fire signs that someone is a good harmless person. it’s a song and dance that we decided to factor in our judgment of other people, and jack very clearly knows that given how much he, A) really really really needs to be liked by everyone all the time, and, B) is aware that his survival and the specific thing he’s trying to prove depends on being perceived a certain way.
and then in unusual scenarios where there’s no social formality, like apocalypse world, jack just goes literal mask-off. yea ill lead us into war against michael. yea i unabashedly want to kill him more than i actually want to rescue mary or the refugees here. i know i built up my image on being harmless but this is Good Harm on a Bad Person so I will make it known that I am actually very dangerous and very full of murderous intent and the power to inflict insane torture upon my enemies but i would never ever ever ever ever hurt you because i love you a lot and they deserved to be insanely tortured so don’t even worry about it okay :)
dream: people say that im coping when i say that, im not the run was cooked and ordinary joe would have reset but i decided that i don't care if i die in a lame aura losing fashion it's still practice.
for @minecraftdog :]
oh so it was arm day
we can’t. we can’t let dan leave the house ever again maybe.
unfriendly reminder that in when Will went missing, hopper asked Joyce if what everyone was saying about will (him being gay) was true, because he thought Will might’ve fallen victim to a hate crime
