Allan Hawco, star and co-creator of CBC’s Saint Pierre joins the show to talk about growing up in “The Goulds” in Newfoundland. He talks about fighting in parking lots and hockey games, stunt driving, a Shakespeare teaching gym teacher, and the French territory St Pierre and Miquelon. He builds a proper, lonesome, historic pub in our town and we head to the high school to watch a play mid-rehearsal.

I cant get over the fact that Itto kicks his sword during his swings. Like, big buff oni man just back heels the BLADE OF HIS SWORD with his sandal to get it unstuck from the ground. Gods hes so cute. And his charged attack is just wild swinging rather than the smooth curcular motion other claymore weilders have. But that little “dink!” of his kick hitting the blade as he wrenches it out from the fangs of the earth. Aaaaaa little happy noises and flappy hands. Itto beloved your stupid weapon weilding makes me smile and squee.
