One is so glad nobody else will ever read this journal. So, one knows what one wrote on the last page. But there’s this someone.

After one wrote that manifesto of “one will focus on oneself”, things went normal and one even told Amara this in the last message one sent her. The following night one was at the doorway of the home, just minding one’s business overseeing the children of some of Rialas’s cousins also why are there so many kids, by the Divines what the fuck when one looked up and BAM. It was another Altmer walking with a Bosmer, holding the reins of a water ox. He was so handsome. Not even in the conventional Altmeri way, which let’s be honest he wouldn’t be considered attractive. That cocky grin, so arrogant and confident.

And one didn’t see him again until five days later. One thinks he’s staying around the village, not in it. He was just hanging with the water ox, waiting outside a house. One walked past it with Silas and he looked at us with curiosity, then winked and went back to looking inside the house, probably waiting for someone. And probably to Silas. At least one thought that.

And then one saw him again two days after that. He asked one what one was doing here, one said one was visiting family, and he seemed surprised at that one can’t blame him, not that many people expect an Altmer to say he’s visiting family in Valenwood. One asked him what he was doing here, he said he was visiting a friend, but then one was the one surprised because he doesn’t speak in one. He speaks in I. As in, he didn’t say “one is visiting a friend” but rather “I’m visiting a friend”. One digresses. We spoke for as long as we could. He’s charming, not going to lie, and there’s something about him that one wants to know more of. Plus, it’s another Altmer and the last time one spoke to a stranger in Altmeris it was in the boat on one’s way back to Elden Root, speaking one’s native tongue felt really, really nice. He is really nice.

 His name is Eramon of Kvatch. He’s visiting a friend in Lynpar March, but he leaves tomorrow. One is getting ready to go to his place tonight, now that whatever needed to be done for the day is done and over with.
