I still think one of my favourite petty moments in that Almost All Bard D&D Campaign was when we had killed a bandit lord and he dropped a greatsword that, since we were all bards (or the one warlock), nobody had proficiency to weild, but we also all levelled up from fighting that boss so I ended up essentially going “College of Valor now, dibs”
#I'm the only one with martial weapon proficiency baybeeeee#It's not even that good lmao but it is a greatsword#so like#fuck yeah lmao#He LOVES his greatsword lmao#The party got the opportunity for a hammer that's way stronger and Cithara was like 'nah dog I'm good'#It was cool everyone went into a different subclass and I kind of love that#Eulsmir went college of lore since it was the first one he saw#Cithara went college of Valor because greatsword proficiency and also he had like 9 sets of scale mail just wasting away in his backpack#I think Maria multiclassed into cleric actually#and warlock#he warlock
