listen i choose to believe that at any given moment eddie diaz is equally capable of being the smooth eloquent guy who shows up devastatingly handsome in a suit and says emotionally resonant things like you didn't end up like you and tomorrow isn't promised to anyone OR of being the fumbling idiot who is scared of technology and can't lie to his tia to save his life and compares love to drowning in a vat of molten chocolate.

watching LOTR again and the dichotomy of Aragorn is still amazing to me, he's all quiet and noble and honourable and soft-spoken and he sings and recites poetry, just keeps to himself, doesn't want any trouble, doesn't bother anybody... and then there's a fight and he just goes absolutely feral, he charges straight to the front line and he's yelling battle cries and using every single one of his seventy-three weapons he carries and throwing himself at his enemies without any regard for risks or odds or personal or public safety

then after the battle he very calmly cleans his sword and sits down in a qiuet spot and takes out his notebook so he can finish composing his sonnet

he's completely unhinged and I love him so much

I’m convinced whoever wrote “Jughead’s” writings never anticipated people actually zooming in and transcribing the words. They probably just made them sound vaguely relevant just in case somebody got a glimpse of them 🤣🤣🤣
