[[You are my whiskey]]

Indulgence. Something to warm his cold exterior, a burning sensation in an otherwise frigid and unfazed existence, an artificial likeness of the one person who made him feel warm while clarity remained—Darcy. Clarity was out the window as the platinum haired male rasped at the welcoming burn of another glass of whisky…expensive fucking whiskey. What did he care? He could burn through all the money in the world, quite literally and it would never warm him. Goddamnit…he fucking missed Darcy. Why did he have to need someone like that, why did he have to yearn for a warmth that he could never hold in his hand for long. He stumbled as he stood, the world circling around him like he was the center of the universe and everything else moved around him, and for a while he thought it had….he knew better now. He picked up his phone, gazing blearily at the screen. “Fuck,” Jae mumbled, shaking his head.
[Text, Darcy]: Hey!
[Text, Darcy]: Darby
[Text, Darcy]: shit.
[Text, Darcy]: *Darcy
[Text, Darcy]: I’m cold.
[Text, Darcy]: Come start a fire in my fire thing.
[Text, Darcy]: Place! Fireplace!
He snorted a laugh, his emotions haywire...up and down. Clarity? gone.

He was on top of the car, barely balancing on his own legs.
“I don’t think they heard you in the back.”
“Why ‘re you standin’ around down there? Come up, come up, come up!”
He squinted. Then swished an arm drunkenly trying to summon her.
Dad: I'm so depressed.
Me: Why?
Dad: They shut down my favorite radio station.
Me: Really? That sucks. What did they turn it into?
Dad: Gay...radio?
Me: ....is that what it's really called?
Dad: No. -puts head down-
