This would be early on after he killed his foster family though?? Maybe he's 20-21 ish?? So he's had six-ish years of prowling around the woods and being a hermit.

Instead of the shovel, the night of the disaster happens to fall on his first turning. He's a genetic wolf and never knew it and might've stayed dormant if it hadn't been for all the abuse and stress. He murders his family, bolts for the woods and never looks back. Eventually, he completely uproots himself and something something takes place closer to Emile and Will yadda yadda

Every full moon he goes on a rampage through the local campgrounds and wakes up naked and bloody in the middle of the woods. He just shrugs it off/kind of enjoys the catharsis?? It always feels good when he wakes up, like a bunch of stress has been lifted off his shoulders.

Genetic predisposed to more or the condition in general. He can partial shift and has been teaching himself to be able to go back and forth without the moon's involvement. He doesn't have the cabin, so spending his time as a creature that's already acclimated to the environment helps.

He lives off thievery when he can't shift. He has a tent and supplies, but if something goes missing while you're out hiking or camping, it's Rabbit.

Being as this is a modern AU, he's still fairly drawn to the city and spends a considerable amount of time there after dark. Will you find him in your local gay and college bars? Absolutely. He's drinking and flirting and then immediately chickening out when it gets physical.

HE'S TATTOOED. Modern Rabbit is SLEEVED UP. HE DESERVES IT. One arm has a dark forest sort of theme going on with a white rabbit with red eyes as the center piece. The other arm is patchwork that he fills in with random tattoos when he can trade/offer work in exchange for a piece. Across his knuckles reads GOOD LUCK. Which he thinks is funny/Rabbit joke.

He keeps his hair messy and curly, it's already dusted in silver and grey. He wears two hoops in his right ear and a Star of David around his neck.
