Robert Dudley, first Earl of Leicester (1532/3–1588)

Description
This portrait gives a good sense of Robert Dudley’s assertive, self-regarding, and ambitious character. It was painted when he was still a credible suitor for the hand of Elizabeth I. Dudley retained his status as the queen’s favorite his whole life and was rewarded with appointments in the royal household, and grants of land and titles. But he never won the ultimate prize of marrying the queen. In 1560 his wife, Amy Rosbart, was found dead at the foot of a flight of stairs. Though probably an accident, suggestions that Dudley had removed her to make way for the queen did lasting damage to his reputation. A patron of Continental artists, and always conscious of his image, he had the Italian painter Federico Zuccaro make pendant portraits of him and Elizabeth I in 1575. But by this point Dudley’s ambitions to marry the queen were thwarted, and thereafter he poured his energy into war against Catholic Spain.
First I want to say I love character design of Venus De Milo every version.
Second however there is something that been bothering me about this version (she has braces). Now now for I have nothing against braces, I think she look cool in those.
My problem is lays on the fact that you need a dentist to get braces. So how did she get braces with

I forgot MM/Tales Mikey wears. Though does that mean Mei made Vee braces through videos? (Huh there is really everything on the internet to be found (aside privacy and sometimes common sense), also Mei is skilled woman, I'm impressed 🤩)
Thank you! Yeah, pretty much. Mei has to take care of the lighthouse, so she's got some mechanics skill. Would not be surprised if she grabbed some videos and books on dental care. I also see her using fishing gear to jerry rig some braces for her daughter at some point, Haha!

I think he doesn't like the idea of psychics poking around in people's minds. He's put countermeasures on Crispin's mind I know, as well as Sheegor's and his own... kinda... It's a little harder for him to do that cause... well, I shouldn't say. Patient Doctor confidentiality.
As for me, well, it's kinda the opposite. He's trying to "keep my mind from wandering too far." I don't mind it, but... I don't know, I get the feeling this isn't working on me. It's also kinda itchy.

Description
Horses were a central part of daily life in Britain in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Bevan depicted scenes of horse auctions and working horses to show how different social classes interacted. He included visual symbols, such as different hats and clothing, to suggest social identity, from city professionals to working-class grooms. Bevan’s paintings capture a world on the brink of change as cars began to replace animals.
