Back with three fresh music from Head Head (Indonesia), Ian Guerin (Mexico), and  Milkmann’s (Russia) 

Head Head - Vivid Reality 

Head Head is a newly formed band from Malang, Indonesia. Vivid Reality is their very first single which they claim to be dream-pop tunes which sounds more perfect if you listen it while closing your eyes and start daydreaming. “Vivid Reality” lyrics is made to be sarcastic to its own title. This song talked about a fantasy parallel dimension where you could have a perfect scene, life, or even relationships you always want. With the support of their mentor from previously experienced band Coldiac (also comes from the same city), they take pretty safe strategy to choose the dream pop scene as it is one of the most admired genre in Indonesia. 

Ian Guerin - Free Time

Ian does heavily influenced by jazz, R&B, soul, and oldies pop in his works. Free Time is his newest song out of his releases since his debut in 2012. His genre might not the typical stuff we pick in this blog as you can see. Yet, Free Time is too good to be ignored. This song actually covers a miserable story behind, but wrapped into something hopeful. The piano, drums, and guitars are blending to well with the light vocals. The music video does help Ian represent this song’s ambience a lot, breezy afternoon thinking about your crush or loved ones. 

Milkmann’s - Hey Man 

Milkmann’s just released their debut Steinmeiller EP , three tracks within. Therefore, we pick Hey Man for the newcomers list. Milkmann’s always claims to be the new sound of Russian Britpop. Their music is influenced by British music, indeed. Something that not many Russian indie bands choose (as we ever try to write before Russian indie bands are mostly into electronic pop or hard-rock/grunge scene instead). From all of the three tracks, Hey Man (second track) is on top of our rank, punchy bass lines from the start, rock and roll guitar parts are quite ear-catching, then Steinmiller (the first track, the most energetic one) and All Your Tears (melancholic, the third track) consecutively.
