🇺🇸 Happy 250th Birthday, America! Happy Fourth of July! 🇺🇸

As a proud natural-born American, I wanted to celebrate this historic milestone in the best way I know how—through art.

Today I’m honored to share my original pencil sketch portrait of George Washington, one of the greatest Americans in our nation’s history and the first President of the United States. While creating this portrait, I drew inspiration from Gilbert Stuart’s iconic paintings of Washington, especially the famous unfinished Athenaeum Portrait. If you look closely, you’ll definitely notice that influence. 😉

George Washington’s leadership, courage, humility, and devotion to the ideals of liberty helped shape the foundation of our country. His legacy continues to inspire generations more than two centuries later.

Creating historical portraits like this is one of my favorite ways to honor the people who helped shape our nation while celebrating the timeless beauty of traditional art.
