I have Tourette's syndrome and the head twitches that the anon described sound very similar to a motor tic that I have. It's possible that their head twitches are just irregular motor tics?

That is definitely a possibility. While I’ve never been diagnosed with Tourette’s, I experience a very similar tic in which my head twitches to the side (sometimes violently) and my shoulders jerk up. It tends to be somewhat painful. I had always assumed it was a side effect of being put on psych meds at a young age but I’ve recently been wondering if it may be Tourette’s. It’s certainly a possibility for both the anon and myself.
