okay so you should seriously either sell your mabel sweatshirt or like put up a tutorial for it, it's so good I'm like extremely jealous
Well, I think i'm going to hang on to it for a while longer. hahah!
Well, it was really easy to make. Guess I'll do a step by step here?
1. GO TO GOODWILL/THRIFT STORE OF YOUR CHOOSING and pick up the coolest baggy purple sweater you can find. I got really lucky with mine. It's got sparkle flowers on it. PURFECT.
2. GO TO MICHEALS AND PICK UP T-SHIRT TRANSFERS.
they're in the aisle where the t-shirts are. GO FIGURE.
(basically, you print out what you want on them and then iron them on to the fabric of your choosing.)
3.GO HOME AND GET ON YOUR COMPUTER.
Screencap or find the image of the "MEOW WOW!" sweater.
4. OPEN IMAGE IN ILLUSTRATOR
live trace that cat! Make sure that you choose the option "make trace" so you can adjust the settings. Change it to color, and make sure there's around 45-60 colors.
5.SELECT AND COPY THE LIVE TRACE.
just "command a" that stuff!
6. CLOSE ILLUSTRATOR AND OPEN PHOTOSHOP.
I tell you to close illustrator because it's important to close programs you're not using. Let's your computer run better. A LESSON HAS BEEN LEARNED HERE.
In photo shop, you're going to use
this little cutey. The QUICK SELECTION TOOL!
it selects shapes based on groups of color. So now that it's all vectored out, it should be a SINCH to select the letters and MEOW WOW cat.
after you've selected what you want.
7.TRANSMOTIFICATION CENTRAL TIME
SO, this is basically your cat right now
looks all sideways and shit.
so HERE'S WHAT YOU DO,
EDIT>TRANSFORM>SKEW.
and from there, use your cursor to play around with the image until the cat looks like it's facing forwards.
8. DO THE SAME THING TO YOUR LETTERS
9.PRINT THAT JUNK OUT ON YOUR TRANSFER PAPER!
and from there, you just have to follow the instructions on the packet.
