yeah but what if one day a new boy starts hanging around kashima all the time & they get really close and he gets a crush on her and isn’t even subtle about it but kashima is oblivious as fuck but hori-senpai notices bc senpai sees everything & he’s secretly pissed off (not so secretly tho bc everyone exept kashima knows what’s going on lmao) and he tries really hard to not show how pissed off he is bc his kouhai hardly hangs around him anymore which is weird because he should be happy that she’s not bugging him for once, and it’s not until he sees that boy standing a little too close to kashima that something in hori breaks and he realizes holy shit he really fucking likes this girl - but there’s another boy in the way and the thought of it just makes him even more mad than he was before so the next day he runs up to kashima and sees she’s holding hands with that boy and fuck his heart breaks because he’s too late he fucked up so he goes to the club room to release his frustration and to cry because he’s so upset and pissed off, both with himself for not realizing sooner and at that boy for ever showing up in their lives. later during drama club kashima walks up to senpai and asks what’s wrong because he looks terrible and hori just can’t even find it in himself to even pretend to be pissed off at her and shove her away like he usually does and she’s staring at him with these big worried eyes and fuck he’s so in love but it’s too late and she hesitantly hugs him because he looks like he needs it since he hasn’t even yelled at her even once today so something must be wrong and hori looses it because she’s so close and so warm and he hugs her and doesn’t want to let go and he can’t even be embarrassed over the fact that she has to bend down a little just to reach him. he’s so happy and he starts to cry a little which is completely out of character for him which makes kashima even more worried because this must be worse than she thought so she pulls away from him and is about to ask him what’s really wrong but is interrupted by hori pressing his lips against hers because he couldn’t stop himself and all the while he’s thinking about how terrible he is for doing this knowing kashima has a boyfriend but he just couldn’t stop himself and he lets even more tears fall but then he notices kashima isn’t pulling away or pushing him away and he opens his eyes and finds that not only are her eyes closed but she’s smiling as well and fuck what is going on so he pulls away seconds later and doesn’t even know what to say/do but then kashima opens her mouth to say something until she’s interrupted by that guy and hori feels like he’s really going to hit this guy but kashima interrupts by grinning at the boy like she should be grinning at hori and says “senpai i’ve been meaning to introduce you to my friend !” and hori stops himself from going to punch the guy for a second because wait did she just say ‘friend’ and it’s not until a while later that he asks kashima about it and she laughs and says she knew all about the crush the boy had on her but she let him know she was into someone else and so the boy moved on days ago and hori feels stupid for being so blindly jealous and immature over something so stupid but then he looks up at kashimas wide happy smile and he realizes again that it wasn’t just something stupid and immature because he loves this girl and he doesn’t want anyone to get in the way of him finally letting her know his true feelings and he’s about to say it, finally confess his feelings but kashima interrupts him in the best way possible when she presses her lips against his and he realizes she already knew.

Stays up until 2am reading: Kuroko (which is why he’s so hard to get up in the morning).
