headcanon that Caleb tends to pick up words in his travels, kinda just for the fun of it you know? so ‘ironic’ is from his arsenal, but he’s got a whole slew of words that you wouldn’t expect him to know, and definitely tends to pick up at least bits of languages when he’s around people who speak them.

Yes! Expanding on this Caleb can't keep the giggles at bay the first time Essek does it. It is one of the few things I think that could convince him to actually take a proper break which means I can picture Essek weaponizing it to get Caleb to relax and makes rounds through the cats in the house.

Caleb finds comfort in things that are hot and hardy, think beef stews, warm bread, chicken pot pies and alike.

Kai is someone who loves berries and nuts, either on their own as a snack or in baked goods and other deserts.

Weylyn has liked shepherd's pie and often snuck into the kitchens to get some even though it was more for the staff and not the royal family's dinner, he liked the hominess of it all.

Eadwulf's main thing is fresh baked bread. He knows very well what it takes to make loaves and he likes the warmth and simplicity of it.

Astrid is fond of crisp fresh apples. She finds the juice refreshing and it feels easy on her stomach.

Caleb is someone whose body finally relaxes for alittle bit, the noise of his own mind fading for a little while and he's able to breathe more comfortably in his own skin. Caleb likes the idea of handing enough trust to someone to let them own him in any sort of way. It hasn't happened since he met the Nein really because in a way it brings him back to being under Trent's control. It takes someone he trusts with more than just his life for him to give that again but it is something he'd want to explore again

Weylyn is someone who surprisingly craves softness. He has painted himself into the corner of being the rakeish man of charm who takes want he wants and while he is willing to play that part he wants something more sweet, but with that comes needing to trust someone and that is something he doesn't give often or willingly often.

Keelin is far more experimental in lot of ways and far more willing to just try something. He wants to pull the use of magic or magic items into the bedroom it would just take partners comfortable with that.
