Nostya smokes like a chimney. It's hard on his lungs and definitely impacts his ability to fight, but he isn't immune to small vices. I'd reckon his love of ~substances~ probably rivals Walden's, which is curiously at odds for how stringent he is with monitoring Feyd-Rautha's health regimen
He and Master Aalto are bitter enemies. Like fistfighting in the parking lot of Waffle House style. Master Aalto used to be a medic in Nostya's battalion, after all...
Nostya is descended, culturally, from the Sardaukar despite his House being native to Lankiveil. He was raised as a warrior just as his father before him. His first blade was carved from whale bone--and he'd had to slay the whale himself.
