for the retrospective asks, 7, 12, 14 & 19? that's a lot you can just pick and choose if you want
7. What is something you do not at all think will happen in the finale, but is just fun to daydream about?
I think it would be nice if Hamid's twin brothers turn up at the end of the battle and he gets to hug them again 🥺
12. Is there an episode you keep downloaded at all times, just in case you want to go back to it? If not, which episode would this be if you did?
I don't have any episodes downloaded like this, but I think I would probably revisit the specials or perhaps like, Dover episodes? I'm assuming here that I want comfort not sadness because otherwise I might as well turn on the Mr Ceiling stuff or Sasha's letter lol
14. What’s a detail of the show that you always forgot, and when you’re reminded of it it always comes as a shock?
Grizzop speaks Dutch and i can't handle it ahsldfhslfhdshdfl
19. Can you try to put into words the crushing nostalgia you now feel when you think back to the prologue episodes, and how you felt listening to them for the first time vs how that would feel now?
The thing is that I listened to s1, noticed there was an episode at the end of s2 titled 'goodbye Bertie' and instead of rejoicing that an objectively awful character left the party, I went Fear because I thought there might've been cast conflict which led to James leaving or something so instead of listening to s2 I went straight back to s1. So I've actually listened to s1 and the prologue the most of all eps lmao.
I do feel nostalgic though, maybe not for the prologue because the characters weren't really that worked out yet, but definitely for s1, which had some excellent shenanigans. I loved the time before the main plot became more important, when they were nominally investigating the simulacrum but they had time for detours and investigating mysteries that were tangentially related.
The final battle does feel very climactic and stuff but like, I loved the lower stakes feel of s1.
