I’d say that’s hero-worthy.”

Megan was sitting on her couch, her eyes focused on reading the novel that she had been working on most recently. She was taking a much needed break from studying. Josh was sitting at the other end of the couch going over the work she had done earlier and probably marking all the places they would have to go back to later. She bit her lip, and in a moment of courage she set her book down, leaning up on her knees. A hand went to move Josh to face her, pulling him away from the mathematics. Then, Megan’s eyes fell shut, and she quickly and swiftly placed her lips against his.
After a short moment she pulled back, her face red from her embarrassment. “Sorry, I just--thank you.”
